About this apartment rental
This studio has lots of space and is across from the pool and just a few short steps from the beautiful Siesta beach. Known for it powder sand white beach and tropical breeze. Average Temperature is 70. The two large pools are heated all year. This unit has one king new mattress . There are many shuffleboard courts an tennis court and is close to everything. The beach front has beach chairs and covered pavilions. Boat rental is also available. Sunsets are so beautiful with shades of pink and purple!!! Several restaurants that are a short walk.No car needed the Siesta Trolley goes up and down the Island as well as the free ride shuttles.

Close to beach.
The owners are very nice and quick to respond to issues. Had a ant issue and owner tried to have it taken care of quickly. It is nice for a four day stay but too small for a extended stay. The WiFi has intermittent connection. We had nothing urgent online so it was only a minor issue.

My husband and I stayed Thursday thru Sunday, great location, clean and the owners were very helpful with all of our needs. Honestly they’ve thought of everything from sunblock to a crossword puzzle. I’d definitely rent again. 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mar. great location on the beach, walkable to both the village and the captain Curt’s square area. I got lots of lunch food for the week. I loved that you could go out to 41 and be at Trader Joe’s to the north or Costco to the south within 10 minutes. Also near Costco is a Total Wine and Liquor shop. They have everything. One night we got Mellow Mushroom to go and the kids ate it on the beach. These a coupon for MM in the Taste magazine/flyer. It saved us $10. Also on Mondays they have large cheese pizzas for $10. I had rented a car so I’m not sure if they deliver to Siesta Key or not but I would guess so since it took me 6 minutes to get there. Connie was easy to reach and extremely attentive. I felt like she would have jumped through hoops for us if we needed. We didn’t need a thing because everything was perfect. She even had a cooler, towels, a noodle and pool float, beach chairs and an umbrella for us to use. The place is old Florida style, shuffleboard courts and all. There are two small pools, but everyone took turns and we always found a chair when we wanted and even though I’m fairly certain the place was 95% full, we always had room at the pool. The unit was great. It has everything you need for the kitchen, a huge comfortable bed, a beautiful bathroom with lots of high quality towels and TP. The laundry room was just about 5 doors down and it’s $1.50 for a load plus at least $1 to dry. Bring quarters or plan ahead. The office has them, but has limited hours and I asked 7 places in town and not one would give me quarters! Literally not one! The laundry room gets crowded and the regulars have favorite machines. I set my alarm and returned within 1 minute of my wash cycle ending and a lady was taking our things out. The washer next to ours was free but she was touching our stuff. It definitely felt weird, but she clearly had a favorite washer and she wanted to use it so I just kind of laughed and learned to come back 2 minutes before my load ended. My daughter and I stayed together and many of her classmates were down the beach with their families. The kids alternated between the public beach and the Casa Mar beach each day. They loved that our place was less than 100 steps to the beach so they could make lunch and use the bathroom every day. I met up with the parents at Jamaica Royale where they had rented tents and chairs for the week. We were there during spring break a

I have to be honest I made a last minute reservation for labor day weekend and found this studio in Siesta Key. There were not a lot of pictures in the page but I read up on the location and saw a video someone had posted from 3 years ago and said to myself DO IT! When I walked in both my husband and I were very surprised at the design of the place, all the accessories in it (as we bought groceries and cooked in all weekend long) including a blender, and cooler, beach umbrella. The place was very clea , my husband who is a clean freak walked barefoot and told me, they cleaned this well..including below the bed. The proximity to the beach as well as the almost empty pool was a delight! We will come back in the future.

Great property
Let me start with the reason I gave this property four stars instead of five. Our neighbors directly next door, and the pool were both pretty loud. Each night it was loud until near midnight, and the final night we were there, we couldn't get to sleep until 1:30am, and had to be up at 5am. That being said, the property itself is very nice and well appointed. Connie was extremely helpful and attentive, and checked in on us to make sure things were going as well as possible. It is VERY close to the beach, as advertised, and the pool is right outside the door (which was one of the reasons for the noise). The noise isn't something that the owners can control, obviously, and it likely wouldn't be that way for others who stay here. I think we just happened to get unlucky with our stay. Thank you, Connie for being so responsive to my questions/requests.

Just steps to paradise
You can’t beat the location of this cute property! While the beach is only steps away, please note that it takes many more steps to reach the water. Several conveniences such as grocery stores and restaurants are only a mile away. The condo is clean and includes all the necessities. The owners communicated honestly and clearly and were always available. We highly recommend!

Perfect location. Like new appliances, we’ll stocked with basic provisions, bed was very comfortable, response time by owner was good. Only minor negatives were furniture & paintings need updating & sheets were not of very good quality.

Perfect Beach Getaway
Once again we were completely happy with our stay. It was my husband's birthday and when I requested some surprise decorations, Tessa said no problem. We only had a couple of decent somewhat sunny days, but that deter us from enjoying the conveniences of our stay. We strolled the village, cooked in and watched movies. We have stayed here before and will continue to make this a regular annual trip. The beach access is unbelievable - seriously it is right out the back door and 3 steps up to the short patio walkway. It's also a great quiet area to fly a kite. Love, Love, Love it here. Thank you Tessa and Brian!

Little condo at the beach
We enjoyed our time at the condo. For the price and location I dont believe you will find better in Siesta Key. Unfortunately the weather wasnt the best the week we were there, but thats nothing the owners could help. We definitely wanna come back and enjoy the condo and Siesta Key with the sun out!

Siesta key perfect stay

And time again we have booked various units at casa mar for a week or two and this studio is always one of our choices each time and it has been lovely for our son and fiancé
The owners are sweet and always there for any concerns you may have .. it comes with towels and beach chairs, king bed and perfect shower and kitchen and close access to beach and pool!

Just what we needed!
Our condo was just as advertised. Clean, comfy and the location was fantastic. The pool was outside our door. The beach was a few steps away. Tessa was great. We had trouble with the lock, she had it fixed within an hour. Anyone looking for a quiet retreat, this is it. We will surely return.

Very nice property
Brian and Tessa were very helpful and lived close if we needed anything. The condo overall was excellent, the beach and laundry were very convienient. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. The only issue was the wifi would not work, Brian said he would get it repaired. Our visit was during spring break so it was much more crowded everywhere we went than our stay last year.

Very homely, great position
We were happy to stay here for 4 nights. The situation couldn't have been bettered. Sadly the weather was very poor but as part of a 3 week tour it wasn't desperately important. It was a good base for inland activities such as Myakka River State Park and Oscar Scherer State Park and of course the beach was right on our doorstep for brisk walking. The unit had absolutely everything we could want and was lovely and cosy and clean. Sadly we needed the heating on occasionally and it worked a treat, warming the place up very quickly. We would have no issues with returning one day. Our only negative was the poor internet connection.

We loved Siesta Key! The beach was beautiful!
The property was perfect for just the two of us. We celebrated our 50 th Anniversary! The condo unit was led than 100 feet from the beach. Brian and Contessa were readily available to answer any questions. We had so much fun walking on the beach, collecting some shells, having pictures taken on the beach by Jason Scott photography. We went out to several restaurants in Siesta Key Village. It was wonderful to get away from the cold weather and just relax. Will recommend this place to friends wanting to be in a quiet location with wonderful beach access.
