We all enjoyed our stay

We had our annual family Memorial Day weekend fishing trip to June Lake and all wanted to stay together. The cabin fit us perfectly and had beautiful waterfall views. The weather was warm and clear. Our kids loved the downstairs playroom. The stairs down, however, were very steep and uneven. The kids were unfazed but be aware older adults and very young kids will not be able to manage them. Overall the cabin was excellent and we would gladly return again!

Truly the most incredible chalet I've ever stayed in. The view is to die for, the pictures don't do it justice. The location is incredible, it's quiet and peaceful but you're still minutes to 'downtown' June Lake with a few restaurants and bars. Bonus points for being across the street from the spa!
The chalet itself is so beautiful and has all of the comforts of home. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher but the owner was so quick to respond and help out.
Overall, this is an excellent stay and I wish I could just live here permanently. The peace and serenity this place offers would surely make for an incredible way of life.

The overall stay was good.
APPLIANCES: The ad states there are brand new appliances. Some work well, and some don't. We enjoy cooking throughout our stay. The BBQ grill needed wheels and was not in great condition or really clean. The fridge kept our food semi warm, even though we adjusted the temperature to remain at its coldest.
CLEANLINESS: The place needs a thorough cleaning. It was evident a lot of animals stayed at the home in the past. We are allergic to animals, and there was enough dust and animal dander under the furniture for a year.
COMMUNICATION: The communication was GREAT! The property manager was always available.
NEIGHBORS: My kids are very well behaved. There is not a lot of space for kids to hang outside and be in the outdoors. Out front, my four year old was almost killed by a woman going way too fast. On the patio, the neighbor below obviously did not like children. My kids were just playing and he called the property manager and stated my kids were too loud in the middle of the afternoon.
Overall, the views were absolutely stunning! It brought us to tears to see God's creation and how beautiful the scenery was.
Have fun out there!

Location is perfect, quiet and secluded. The view from the deck is beautiful, although can be a bit hot in the late afternoon since there’s no coverage. House can comfortably accommodate 3 couples and more if a family. The Host was was extremely responsive and attended to our needs. We will definitely be back!

Pictures or reviews don’t do the view justice from the back of the house or deck. Just have to see for yourself. Everything was great! Clean and comfortable. The self check in and out was awesome and quick. Would definitely return.

This was our third stay at the Chalet and we are already thinking about our next trip! The house has everything you need, spectacular views, close to the ski resort, and peaceful walks right out the front door. The host is very helpful and the check-in process is simple. Thank you, Mike!

We had a fantastic stay here for one of the blizzards 2023. The host made sure everything was warm and that we were all fine. The spacious kitchen and dinning area made cooking and eating together. The wood stove kept us warm. The kids had fun playing in the snow for hours. There was a basement for the kids to play games together. A word of caution, in very snowy/blizzard conditions you need a 4 wheel drive vehicles with chains to get up and down the steep hill and around the hairpin turns. Several neighbors got their trucks stuck in the snowbanks trying to get to work. Our friends had a minivan with chains and they had to wait for the roads to be well plowed to go up and down. We had a 4 wheel drive with chains and could get up and down to go skiing when the lifts were open. I would stay here again! Thank you Mike!

Beautiful location & views, views, views! The property is perfect for large groups & everyone has the ability to have their own space. The rental has worn appearance as it is most likely popular. Owner said he has plans to update some of the tired items. We would come back!

We were lucky to stay at this beautiful chalet during the peak of fall colors. The balcony made it all! What a gorgeous spot! The chalet is cozy and yet spacious. I'd love to come back to this place again soon.

The house is very spacious with many amenities. The view tremendous.
The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with towels. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, but cleaning crew could improve here. The internet and Wifi was good for all of our devices. TVs in all rooms. Game room downstairs is spacious and fun. It stays cool when it gets hot on the main level during midafternoon hours of the summer. Use caution going up and down on the game room stairs. Love the convenience of the washer and dryer. Short drive to town and the store in June Lake has everything you might possibly need. Very close access to great fishing and hiking spots. Check in and out was easy as can be. Did not need to contact Mike during our visit.
Our family had a great time!

THE VIEW !!!
There are no adequate words to describe what it is like to be on the large deck taking in the mountain. I love the eastern Sierras for so many reasons one of which is how dramatic the mountains are. They are so tall and steep on that eastern side and there is no better place to experience the awe like this chalet.
The house itself was really roomy and comfortable. The loft is large with it's own full bath and spectacular view out the wall of windows. If you must take work with you, there is no better spot than the office loft to work from - the view! The game room is large with lots of sleeping space for kids - we all loved the pool table. The main floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths.
We loved the quality TVs, appliances, ample high quality paper products and comfy couches. There is carpet in the bedrooms but I think that is getting swapped out for wood floors sometime in the near future. The shared spaces all have stone or wood floors. The furniture is all very comfortable.
There were only 4 of us and a dog but the house can definitely sleep more and still feel roomy.
One thing to know - this end of the June Lake loop faces south so the afternoon in the summer months is very exposed and can be hot. We enjoyed the deck all morning until almost noon at which point you really need to close things up to keep the house cool. We found the deck really comfortable again between 4 and 5. The house itself is comfortable all day.
Our host was super responsive and could really could not have been happier with our trip overall.
One thing to know: also at this end of the June Lake loop there is a small Edison hydroelectric facility. You won't even know it is there but if you are a morning person and plan on watching the beautiful sunrise you will here a turbine in the distance. It is a white noise that sounds like a large box fan from afar. It is not unpleasant but it is definitely noticeable in the morning when everything else in the valley is quiet. In the afternoon, it is a non-issue (you will not hear it unless you are listening for it). This is not unique to this chalet. Every house in the neighborhood will hear this - especially up on the hill. If you are not a morning person this is a complete non-issue. If the stillness and silence of the morning is what you are going to the mountains for, then you should weigh this as a factor. It was disappointing to me at the beginning of our week but the view is so spectacular I made peace with it.

Family Vacation
I really liked the Chalet I would definitely come back.. very spacious we had 10 people and it fit us great. Close to Silver Lakes, Gull, and June Lake if you like fishing and enjoying the elements of the Great Outdoors like we do than this is the place. The Views are so beautiful and soothing to look at. Only one negative thing is the stairs to the game room, be careful. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place in June Lake.

Wow! The views from this chalet are unbelievably gorgeous! The cabin is clean, well-stocked and comfortable, but the best part was the amazing views and easy access to hiking, fishing, and sites like Mammoth, Yosemite, Mono Lake and more. Highly recommend!!

Ski weekend in June
The Chalet was the perfect place for our group of friends to unwind and cook amazing food after a full day of skiing. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfy and cozy, and the view from the deck was unreal and great for scoping out lines to ski in the backcountry. Hope we can make it back there next year!
