About this apartment rental

450+ square foot Mother-in-law suite with private access and private full bath. We are located in a beautiful, quiet, Eugene neighborhood 1.5 miles to downtown, Autzen Stadium/Hayward Field/University of Oregon, and less than 1 mile from hiking trails, shopping, restaurants, golf course, and public transportation. Off-street parking in our private driveway.

The space

Two queen-size pillow top beds with season-appropriate linens. Wet bar stocked with microwave, coffee pot, mini-fridge/freezer, glassware, plates, and silverware. Dining table for 4, a fullsize couch and 55-inch flat screen TV with Comcast X1 digital cable and Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hulu streaming TV/movies. Towels, basic toiletries, coffee, and a few snacks are provided. You have access to washing machine and dryer if needed. The back yard, patio, firepit, and hot tub are shared spaces.

I often work from home on weekdays so I am available for questions or recommendations if you wish, however I am generally out of sight. Your door has a unique access code so late arrivals are not an issue. Please ask about early check-in as we can often accommodate.

We were in town for the us olympic trials and the spot was a perfect space for my wife who was competing. Close to university and to downtown but located in a great place. The hosts were friendly and very nice. Appreciated staying here.

Sonya and property are absolutely fantastic! Beds so so comfy, anything needed is provided. Sonya was very patient with our ever changing reservations due to late graduation dates posted. The property is absolutely amazing, and the Hosts are wonderful people. Every thoughtful touch imaginable provided or available on request! Sonya & Darren treated us like guests in their home, rather than customers. My only regret is that we were only there for one night, but I know we'll be seeing them again! Great place in a quiet neighborhood, but easy to access downtown and U of O campus and sporting events. Super spacious and a great layout with the 2 queens and big couch. Sonya was responsive and the little goodies they left were an added bonus. Would definitely come back on another trip to Eugene!

We stayed during a bathroom renovation and it was very peaceful. We were surprised with the well stocked snacks toiletries and staple items . Communication with the hosts was prompt and very accommodating. Sincerely, Paula.

This was our second stay here. It's a super cozy and comfortable spot that is a perfect spot to stay when spending a couple of days in Eugene. The hosts are wonderful and warm people who make sure you are comfortable and accommodated. Excellent hosts and excellent property.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Eugene, stay here! It's clean, comfortable, in a safe neighborhood, close to everything, and it has everything you could need for a short, or long visit. The hosts are quite possibly some of the nicest people you will ever meet, and will help if you are looking for things to do, places to eat, or are just wanting to visit while sitting on their patio in their beautiful backyard. Every 5 star review on here is accurate, stop looking for a place to stay and just book this amazing VRBO!

The room was large, nice neighborhood, and we had access to the washer and dryer which was a nice bonus. The only negative was that my partner and I were really looking forward to soaking in the hot tub and the owners informed us that they had shut off the heat prior to our stay, so it was a tepid tub. Super disappointing, as this was a main reason we chose this VRBO.

If I tried really hard I could probably find something that wasn't 100% perfect but that would just be petty. From location to cleanliness to quality of hosts to value, this property has it all. Should we ever visit Eugene again I sincerely hope this property is still available because I don't want to stay anywhere else. You can't go wrong with this property!

A gem in Eugene. We have repeatedly stayed here over the last year and it is always our “go to” place when we come to town. The owners are extremely kind. In addition, they have added little touches here and there throughout their place which makes it unique to any place we’ve ever stayed. We’ve used VRBO for years and this by far has to be in the top 5 we’ve stayed in all across the country.

We traveled to Eugene for a football game, and we’re pleasantly surprised when we arrived at their beautiful home. They were very kind and friendly people, as well as helpful and knowledgeable of the area. After our game we came back and relaxed on the back patio with everyone and had a great visit sharing laughs and stories. We will definitely look to stay there again.

This is a studio apt (attached to the host's home) with attached bathroom and laundry room. It was perfect for my daughter and me. It has adjustable air conditioning and a stand alone fan since there are no ceiling fans. Beds and pillows were great! Location provided a safe stay and easy access (by car) to our venue, restaurants, shopping, and attractions. The hosts were exceptional. They provided as much or as little contact as you wanted. We sat outside one night talking with a glass of wine and homemade blueberry muffins from their garden. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Honestly, could not have asked for more. From the booking through our departure, Sonya was great at communicating. She made sure that everything was perfect, including a few items stocked in the refrigerator! Her hospitality was awesome! When in the Eugene area, we will definitely stay here again.

Wow! If like Spinal Tap and my reviews went to 6 I would classify. (Sorry for the 80s metal band reference). The hosts are simply amazing. The conditions are cleaner than a $500 hotel. Suite is exactly as advertised - in-law suite off the side of a house in a nice neighborhood, private entrance, convenient and nice location, very good hosts that were friendly and responsive - my daughter and I came for a track meet and had a great time - will be booking here again
