We had a wonderful stay at Lissa’s place in Eugene. It was very comfortable, had everything we needed and was within walking distance of our training center and some wonderful places to eat. I will definitely stay here again when I’m visiting Eugene!

This cute little house was an excellent place to relax after a long day. Its not a 4 star hotel, but it's very comfortable and we really enjoyed the space and it's convenient location.

This house was perfect for walking downtown and to the track. Check-in/out was simple, no issues. The house had some ants and other critters, but if you are diligent about not leaving food or anything out, it was fine.

We were in town for a track meet. Our stay was so relaxing. The neighborhood so cute with friendly people. Nearby restaurants within a short walk..super nice employees. The info book was so helpful! Will definitely look to book the next time we're in town.

The location was good for going to Hayward Field!

The place was very comfortable for the three of us. We were in Eugene for my son's first marathon. The place was convenient to everything we needed in town.

Overall, our stay at "A Step Away From Downtown - Quiet, Light and Clean" was adequate, but there were several areas that fell short of expectations.
On the positive side, the location of the property was excellent, and we appreciated the early check-in granted by the owner. The exterior of the home was charming with its beautiful flowers, and the surroundings were peaceful and quiet.
However, there were some issues that need addressing. We encountered confusion with the heater, and although the owner responded and offered alternative heaters, the outdated heate and dirty filter was a concern. Additionally, we noticed water around the base of the toilet, which was concerning, but unfortunately, the owner did not respond to this issue.
The bathroom had a musty smell, and the towels seemed to absorb this odor, which was unpleasant. The couch was stained and uncomfortable, not reflecting the new appearance shown in the listing photos. Furthermore, the screens on the sliding doors were damaged, and some did not close properly. The patio furniture was not as pictured, and the grill mentioned in the details was unusable due to its condition and overgrowth of bamboo in the shed.
We discovered many burnt-out light bulbs throughout the property. Despite sending emails with attached photos highlighting these issues, we received no response from the owner.
In conclusion, while our stay was manageable, it's evident that the property needs a thorough cleaning and maintainance.

We stayed for six weeks while our daughter (a student at UO) recovered from emergency surgery. Our family is from California and it was the perfect "home away from home" for us!

This is the perfect little house for a small group looking to do things outside of the home. It is small, but has a nice layout. The couch was not comfortable, but they do go the extra mile with the little extras like condiments and coffee, and ice. There are lots of nice restaurants nearby that we walked to.

Loved this location for visiting the University- Go Ducks- and getting around Eugene. So close to everything. Appreciated the different types of bed pillows. That was a nice, uncommon, touch. Comfortable house.

We enjoyed our few day stay in this adorable, older home. It was a perfect location for us to walk to and from restaurants and shopping, especially the holiday market at the Fairgrounds. We did use Uber several times but again, easy trips since the location is great.

This home was perfect for our stay visiting family in Eugene! The location is close to campus and downtown, with dining and shopping options within walking distance. Liisa’s place was clean, comfy, and well stocked with all things we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a cozy little place that served its purpose for us. A bit older and some of the furniture was worn and needed updated, but overall a good experience.
4.8
We loved staying here. We had plenty of room for 3 of us and every single thing we needed stocked in the house. The best part is that we were close enough to walk to restaurants and it was an easy drive to the U of O campus.

This place worked out well for the purpose of traveling with my younger son who is 21yrs old. The price was very reasonable for three nights stay and the location was good in relation to many of the downtown attractions. Overall, it was comfortable.

Very sweet older residence with tons of charm! Perfect for my daughter and me who are visiting Eugene after years of absence. Perfect distance to the Saturday Market which is one of our fondest memories and the airport. Quite delightful!!

This was a wonderful stay!! The house was super clean and comfortable! Great little porch with a table outside to enjoy ( with mint plants that complimented my tea)! Bed was comfortable! Absolutely loved our time at this cute place! Will be so looking forward to returning!

When we first drove up the impression of the home was a little scary as there was homeless person sitting outside the aging gate. The outside of the home is less inviting than the inside. The inside is very clean and comfortable once you get past the front yard. Once my husband got out of the car and tried the lock, and it opened the door did he believe we had the right house. I have some recommendations for Liisa and I will send privately.

Highly recommend this place. My son and I arrived a few hours earlier than expected. I reached out to Liisa and asked for an early check in and she responded quickly being willing to accommodate me n my son. When I couldn't figure out the TV n cable box, she responded quickly to resolve the matter. Very professional with a cool personality. Thanks again Liisa!!

Sweet house for four of us and great location for our first time in Eugene. Saturday market was amazing and lots of good local restaurants and brew pubs.

The cottage was the perfect size for us. We came to Eugene for a once in a lifetime concert, and I found this wonderful place for us to stay in. Conveniently located near shops, attractions, the concert venue and restaurants. Love the décor of this cottage, from the inside to the lovely garden area outside. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying here! The house and neighborhood are nice and quiet. This house is just minutes from everything you need. If your visit to Eugene has a weekend in it, it's a must-see to go to the Downtown Saturday Market! Lots of fun.

My friend and I enjoyed this little cottage. The beds are really comfortable and it had a well stocked kitchen (except for a corkscrew). It was clean and cozy. The dishes and utensils however are not clean - we had to wash anything we took out of the cupboards. Our only issue was getting the code- the problem was VRBO app and NOT the host. The app kept crashing so we couldn’t access the communication to get the code. Fortunately VRBO does answer their phone and they were able to provide the code.

Very comfortable home. Perfect for our visit with our children. Definitely will stay here the next time in Eugene.

The location was fantastic. Close to the university, downtown and coffee shops. Not far from the mall and restaurants. My only complaint was the place was not clean. This could have been the last guests, but dirty dishes in the cupboards, and old used bar of soap in the shower. Used dish sponge left. Half opened foods such as salad dressings, and coffee grounds left in cupboards. No chemical cleaning supplies-so we had to buy Lysol wipes and more paper towels. Got the job done, and washer and dryer were a nice amenitie.

Liisa's place was just what we needed for the weekend. Great place close to Moshofsky. Will be back for sure.

This was my second stay while in town visiting family. The house was spotless with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Walking distance to restaurants and cafes with a corner store just a block or two away.

Cute home on well-kept property. No problems getting a parking spot right in front of the property. The back yard is very private and cozy - it was my favorite part of the home, even just opening the curtains to it. Centrally located and usually quiet on the outside, e.g. neighbors, street traffic, etc. Inside it is not as quiet due to it being an older home. Probably fine for most people but not recommended for a longer stay or for someone with sensory sensitivities. The heater and refrigerator were both uncomfortably loud for my standards. Outside temps were in the 20s and 30s and I struggled to balance temps vs sound so I was chilled. Didn't find a heater or thermostat in the master bedroom - could have used more labels in the home to find things (also took awhile to find laundry detergent). Pantry could have been better stocked (no salt), electronic entertainment options could have been better (no smart tv/roku, dvd player was unplugged). Overall a good stay but more as a nice "home base" as opposed to a getaway in and of itself.

Great location. Lovely property. Would stay there again.

House was comfortable, nice neighborhood. Though we got along fine without tv - it could have been noted that it didn’t work. Too many ants, don’t really think every house has them, I have friends in Eugene and also a friend renting another vrbo without ants. Toilet area very strong urine smell.

This house is really nice. It’s in a great location. The kitchen is spacious with lots of room for food storage. It also has a nice enclosed patio in the backyard. We had a great time staying there.

Loved our stay despite the little ants joining us all over the house!
