The host was wonderful and extremely responsive.

Beautiful outdoors. Cut into a mountain and stunning views. House is older. Host was great at communicating with us! Convenient to activities and airport.

Very responsive host. Nice place. No issues.

We enjoyed our family weekend trip to Asheville! The location of this home is close to downtown Asheville (10-15 min). There was plenty of parking and the host was very easy to communicate with! Our home was perfect to celebrate our mom's birthday and had so much space!
4.9
It was comfortable to spend time inside for the holiday, by the fire and easily cooked our Thanksgiving dinner. It was very convenient to hikes and downtown Asheville. We enjoyed our time immensely.
4.9
We really enjoyed the home and found it quite comfortable and well set up for family use. The kitchen was well stocked for food preparation and cooking.
4.9
Had a great time. Perfect distance from Ashville and lots of hiking trails.

House and property were amazing. No cell service but were able to make cals over wifi and there is a landline for emergencies, and no issues with the internet. Plenty of room for everyone and the outdoor space is great!

We stayed in the home with my parents, friends and young children. We really enjoyed that the house has the feeling if being in the woods while still be convenient to groceries and activities. We enjoyed the hot tub and would certainly have liked the pool, if it had been summertime. Plentiful linens and stocked kitchen. Great communication leading up to the rental date. Since we had 6 adults and 2 kids, with only 2 full baths it was a little tight. But the rest of the house was very spacious. Love the large deck and living space. We even saw a family of bears out the windows!

Pretty nice place! Great location a short distance from a grocery store and the Blue Ridge Parkway. 15-20 minutes from Biltmore and Downtown Asheville.
4.9
Plenty of space for everyone. Toiletries and plentiful towels being provided was a nice bonus. Great spacious kitchen. We had a great time!

We had a family gathering from around the US. It was perfect. Well-stocked kitchen and lovely house. Very, very clean. We’d definitely go back (and hope to someday).
4.9
Beautiful, spacious home for our family getaway. Very clean! Owner was super easy to deal with and very responsive to all our questions. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We enjoyed our long weekend in Asheville. Our kids swam in the pool, we all enjoyed the hot tub, and ate most of our meals on the deck. Excellent communication with our host! We will definitely be back!

We laughed, we talked, we played in the pool and enjoyed the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and all decks and porches were enjoyed.
Lots of space to talk privately or together. Bathrooms were great. Loved the stone floors.
Thanks so much for the use of the property!!!!

We enjoyed our stay! The pool and the hot tub were a wonderful respite from all of our tourism - so much to do in and around Asheville. Spent a lot of time on the deck; the hammock was a prized location. The only thing we would change would be to increase the lighting in the house.

We loved staying up in the mountain. We saw turkeys everyday and spotted a bear with her two cubs a few times a little down the road. The pool and hot tub were great after a day of hiking. The kitchen is stocked, there’s even a nice selection of spices left from prior visitors. Lots of games and plenty of space to stretch out. Hope to visit again.

We had a great week in this home spending quality time with family celebrating Dad's 70th. The location of this home allowed us to explore in town and along the Blue Ridge Parkway with ease. We loved being able to explore the area and then return to the pool and have dinner on the deck. There was enough space for all of us to gather for a comfortable dinner and conversation, or spread out and everyone have their own space. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
4.9
Our families enjoyed our time in this quiet home tucked into nature.
4.9
Very well stocked kitchen. Deck was perfect for sitting out on during the day. We even had a memorable bear encounter. Enough room for everybody to spread out. Overall a very good experience

It’s a very beautiful property! We went with two families of four with kids ages 5-9. The pool and hot tub gave us something nice to come home to after a full day of hiking and exploring the greater Asheville area. I’d do it again!

Great house, plenty of space. Nice outdoor deck. Hot tub was awesome. Pool is beautiful but it wasnt really usable for us in mid June as there is no cover or heater. It would probably be usable by July though. It has great shade, lots of seating. Wifi was very good but we had zero cell signal (At&t and verizon) so had to use whatsApp for texting and calling. The TVs have a roku so plenty of video options. Washer/dryer are small, stackable ones, so have to do smaller loads. Excellent communication from owner, very responsive and helpful. There was some soap, paper towels and trash bags to get us through the first few days which was very much appreciated. We liked the location being out in the woods but still close to lots of stuff. However, if you want to be close to downtown or want to use uber/lyft, this might be a bit too far

House/stay was amazing. Short family vacation - lots of hiking and sight-seeing with a great place to relax every night. Would definitely return!

We loved the house, the views and all the amnesties. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after a long day out at the Biltmore and rafting. The house had everything we needed and only 10-15 min drive to downtown. It was so relaxing sitting on the porch high in the trees. I would definitely like to stay here again.

A group of eight met for a long weekend and we wanted a comfortable setting in nature that was also close to Asheville. We could not have been more pleased with this setting and the beautiful property. We loved having a fire in the evening times and enjoyed sitting out on the patio in mornings, enjoying the sun and the forest. There’s also a fully stocked kitchen (utensils, pans, cutlery etc) comfortable bedding with extra blankets and a relaxing hot tub. The owner is accessible and responsive to any questions we had. We intend to use this space for any future visits to Asheville. Highly recommend!
4.9
The property is nice and secluded yet not too far from downtown Asheville
4.9
We loved the house - though I wish we were there when the pool was open. It was great for a larger group of adults and quite removed from hustle and bustle of city. On the other hand, it did prove a bit challenging to use ride-shares to get into Asheville given the remoteness of the location. If the point is to get away in nice forest area - it's a great spot. Checking out Asheville, however, perhaps a closer location would have been better (for our particular purpose of stay).
4.9
A great getaway nestled outside of Asheville. Close to trails and a quick drive to downtown or Biltmore. Lots of amenities and the host makes things very easy for you.
4.9
The property was sufficient for our needs. We had a relaxing time. The bone of this property are great. The house was clean in all of the right places. Everything functioned albeit some of the kitchen appliances were a bit wonky from age. It seems that the owners have begun some updates. The deck is very large, but in need of staining.
The hot tub was in good shape and a nice feature. The pool was closed for the season. We will consider coming back with the family. There was plenty of space. Jennifer was very communicative and helpful.

Easy to rent. Listing was accurate. Jennifer was informative and responsive. We had a great weekend.

Nice house and smooth process

This is a lovely home in a very private setting. The owners were extremely responsive. We did experience some issues with the property, but they were resolved in a timely manner. We appreciate the opportunity to stay in this lovely home!
4.9
We all gathered here for a family Thanksgiving. The property was close to perfect for us. The space was large, airy and well lit - when the sun was out. We could have used a couple more lamps especially in the living room for the dark hours.
The kitchen was perfectly equipped with glasses, cutting boards, knives and just about everything you could need.
We loved using the hot tub. Do be careful though, we did find ticks on ourselves and the dogs.
It was a bit difficult to walk the dogs as there isn't really a yard and the driveway, though long, is very steep.
Jennifer and her husband are super responsive and when we had an issue with some lights, they took care to come and fix it right away. They are fantastic hosts!

A great house in a great location. Close to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore! Tons of space and a pool and hot tub! We had a great time!

Our group of friends stayed here the last time we visited Asheville, in 2016, and we were thrilled to be able to book it again for this trip. The house itself is uniquely beautiful and very spacious, and the owner, Jennifer, is a dream to work with. There were some minor annoyances that the owner may not even be aware of (the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner, and some windows don't open because of broken cranks) but overall it was absolutely wonderful. We would love to stay here again in the future and highly recommend it to anyone with a larger group!

I had my wife and my family come up to Asheville for the weekend. This house was the perfect size for us to spend time together and visit.
The property itself is tucked away in a valley. Everything was beautiful, but we especially loved the hot tub and the porch. The cell service is nonexistent (a much needed reprieve), but the wifi is good and fast in case you need it to coordinate reservations or communication. The drive to Asheville is minimal, and there are good grocery stores and other shops nearby if you need supplies.
I definitely recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in the area. I do not think the photos do it justice, as it was more spacious than we expected.
4.9
We had a great time, beautiful home with a great location close to downtown Asheville.
4.9
It went well right from booking through to arrival and throughout our stay. Jennifer was very responsive to any queries. The property was very well equipped. The furniture was great with plenty of seating outside as well as inside. The kitchen had lots of crockery and anything else needed for food preparation. The beds were comfortable and the towels provided were for both inside and for the pool and hot tub .
The drive although steep was concrete so readily accessible.
The yard wasn’t completely enclosed from our dogs POV so they were leashed outside.
Great house a home from home close to all the things you want in this Asheville area yet with a quiet solitude with its woodland setting

This was the perfect home for our family to stay in for a family wedding. Lots of room for everyone & they have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Loved the hot tub and pool & games. The property is so close to Asheville and Weaverville, and the hosts left a great list of suggestions for activities, food, etc. Will definitely book again if I’m the area.

Beautiful and comfortable property just outside of Asheville. Check in was super easy. The pool, hot tub and decks were a mini sanctuary. Well stocked kitchen. Comfy couches. I’d go back!
