We loved this home as a base to explore Asheville and surrounding towns. The home is clean and comfortable with lots of amenities for good family/group fun.
4.9
Excellent location for our family. The home was roomy and comfortable and had many amenities and sitting areas. We enjoyed the outside activities. The piano was a nice touch! Very close to groceries, food, and town. We felt like we were in the country but were so close to town.

This property is absolutely beautiful and in a great location. The owner was quick to respond and very nice to speak with. We really loved the patio and water feature!

House and property as described, lot of room to move around. Very well appointed kitchen, bathrooms, didn't really need to bring anything even though we did. Great 2 level deck to spread out on. Stayed 4 nights for a family reunion with plenty of room for guests during the day. Hostess Monica was very attentive to our needs and very helpful with advice about the property. Would highly recommend the property!

Great host, everything you need already at the house, great location. Wheelchair accessible, but not mentioned in the amenities.

We loved our stay at this home for a long weekend! It is a great home with lots of space in bedrooms, lots of sitting areas, and a nice kitchen/dining room. The yard is a beautiful outdoor space, with lots of seating to enjoy the scenery. We enjoyed the hot tub at the home. We even got to see 2 bears around the property (from the inside of the house lol) which was so neat! The house was just a short drive <10 minutes into downtown Asheville, so perfect for travel to/from the city! I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a scenic get-away so close to such a fun city! The host was also very easy to communicate with and made check in/out so easy!

House is great. It is well-stocked with plenty of space. It seems like a secluded setting when you are there, but it is short drive to everything. All of us love the breweries and the nature. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. Used the indoor fireplace and the outdoor fire pit. Plenty of wood at the house. Owner was very easy to work with. Enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely rent this house again.

Great place. Great location. Perfect for a trip to Asheville.

Five of my friends and I stayed at this property for my bachelorette party and it was great! The location was close enough to restaurant’s and breweries that we could get Lyfts but it was also very in nature to give us a camping vibe. It was also close enough to use delivery services like Uber eats and Instacart. The house was very well stocked for hosting a group and we were very comfortable. I personally really enjoyed the hot tub and multiple fire places to change up where we got to hang out through out the day and to help build in group activities. Monica was a very responsive host, which I also appreciated. I would definitely book this property again.

Had a great weekend w friends celebrating our buddies 40th Birthday! The house was a great space and a relaxing place to come back to after visiting the breweries and good food in Asheville! Monica was a great host! It’s a 2nd time renting this place in the past two years!

The house was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of space inside, and the front porch was a really great place to spend some time outside.
The location is amazing. It's just a couple minute drive outside of the city, but still feels very remote and private.
Monica was also a great host. She checked in to make sure everything was going okay a couple of times and graciously offered any help if we needed it.
Definitely would consider coming back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely and very comfortable. The host couldn't have nicer!
We'll return on our next visit to Asheville!!

Monica was very helpful in making our stay a great success!

Great location quietly tucked away in its own hillside space.
Had a great time enjoying the large front deck where we were visited by a black bear down the hill in front. It was much more concerned with rooting around the trees than with us but we made sure to keep our distance and stay alert as a precaution. There were many other birds along with some very large woodpeckers flying about the trees as well.
The arts district and and town just a short drive away was a great convenience.

Great experience and accommodating and wonderful host!

This was a perfect getaway to be with our family of 10! The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. the front porch was the best part to drink your morning coffee with all the trees. Thanks for a great stay.

Monica's house is beautifully situated just a mile from downtown Asheville, but you wouldn't know it from the view. It's in a small quaint neighborhood way off the beaten path. Driving there and parking there is easy. Yes, you will see the occasional bear eating berries - it's Asheville!
The house and especially the kitchen is well-equipped. We had three dinner parties while there and they were all very good. There are three bathrooms and four bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a very comfortable bed. We've only been there in the summer so we did not use the fire pit, fireplace or jacuzzi. There is a fenced yard, sort of, but I would recommend watching your pets as there is an active wildlife out there.
Great place, would highly recommend except on the days that I want to be there!!!

Very clean and comfortable.

Fabulous visit for my husband and me, and our three young adult children and their partners. Beautiful view yet close to highways, downtown and conveniences. Very well stocked. Lovely and helpful host. Rooms are spacious with much to do right on property. We would definitely return!

Easy access to Asheville downtown. Close to highway, restaurants, store. Fenced in area for pets. Local bears in the neighborhood. Hot tub, big front porch with fire pit. 8 adults, 2 toddlers plenty of beds, room to stretch out.

The property was everything advertised in a great setting. In fact, It had more than what we expected. On top of that, the owner was always available and checking in to make sure everything was good, which made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We were less than ten minutes to downtown and within an hour or less of plenty of hiking and golf courses. The only hard thing was getting ourselves to leave the property when it was so welcoming. There was plenty of space for us all to be comfortable and the house was stocked with games and firewood. The front porch was our favorite breakfast spot and we were lucky enough to see a black bear wander by one morning.
4.9
The house has everything you need to feel comfortable. The outdoor deck area is great, feels like you’re in the trees. The location of the house is close to the Biltmore and fabulous restaurants. What a great place to vacation.

Wow, did we have fun!! This place was amazing and perfect in so many ways! We are a family of 5 adults and 2 kids! It was just great! Ambiance, well appointed, good location, it is all there! We will be back!! Thank you for the incredible memories we made at your beautiful home!

The location was minutes from downtown, yet we were in a lovely quiet, wooded neighborhood. The house has lots of character and charm. Also, very comfortable for the six of us.
4.9
The property was roomy and well equipped. Location had easy access to Asheville by car.

We had a great visit to Asheville and the house made a big difference for us. It was so close to town yet felt like so far away. We enjoyed the setting, sitting on the porch and taking in the view. We were even visited by Momma Black Bear and her cubs passing through on the way to the neighbors yard to feast on berries. That was cool. The property had everything we needed and the host was very responsive to our needs and got right back to us. We played some serious ping-pong out back and a couple of board games at night. The firepit is fun to have as well as the hot tub. All the rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We ate in most nights and used Crackerjackchef.com who prepared our meals. That made things very easy for us all. Just re-heat and serve. All in all a great trip to Asheville made better by a nice place to stay.
4.9
Great house- owner made the process easy. We felt like we were in a remote location but we’re only minutes and an Uber to downtown. Would love to visit again!
4.9
Monica's house was perfect for our group of 9 adult women celebrating a bride-to-be and reconnecting. All the living areas were very spacious, both inside and out. We cooked a bit, relaxed in the hot tub, sat out front on the comfortable furniture wrapped in the warmest blankets enjoying the mountain forest views... We hoped to see a bear but did not. I guess we'll have to come back when it's warmer! Uber rides to downtown were easy to get and only $7. The location of this house is SO good. Steep driveway but we enjoyed the exercise. And the host, Monica, was very responsive by phone/text. I could not recommend this house more.
4.9
All guests were thoroughly impressed with the house, its amenities, and its location. We had no significant issues with the property and Monica was immediate to respond about the two issues which we ran into despite them not impacting our stay.
A fantastic house that we'll keep in mind for future visits!

We enjoyed the stay with our grown children for a Christmas holiday. There were a few weather related issues that were beyond the owner’s control. She was very responsive and took care of us. Thank you Monica!
