Tahoe City Sports Snow Park right across the street with a full restaurant, ice rink, cross country skiing, sledding and more! Commons Beach with children's play area is next door. During winter months two adirondack chairs are provided for deck enjoyment, weather permitting.
In summer, private beach, pier, pool & tennis courts. Children's Park next door at Commons Beach with summer concerts, movies, water sports rentals and more! Golf course across the street and bike path steps from the front door. Walk to all restaurants and shops in Tahoe City. Stroll to the Tahoe City Marina for power boat, SUP and kayak rentals.

This is a two bedroom/two bath unit that sleeps 6 people. There is a king-size log bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the guest room and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV and the living room has a flat-screen TV with a DVR. You can enter the guest bath from either the hallway or guest bedroom. By shutting the door to the hallway, you now have two bedroom suites for more privacy.

Location and amenities are the best:
My kids loved the community pool, the beach, the rentals available (SUP, kayaks), and the play structure which are all right in your backyard. I loved being able to walk to everything like walking trails, dinner and shops.
The property itself is very clean and has plenty of room to spread out. The balcony was great and has such pretty sunset views over the lake. Could it be updated? absolutely, but everything is functional. Because of the risk of bears, there's less condiments than you would normally find (but for good reason). The one thing I do actually want to see them update are the pots and pans. The chipping cook surfaces are incredibly unsafe to use. Everything else in the condo is functional and perfectly adequate.
Definitely would stay here again. Owner was responsive and kind.

Very convenient location. Can walk to many restaurants and shops. The view of Lake Tahoe was amazing. The property grounds were immaculate. The condo owner was quick to respond to any questions.

This home was a great location for checking out Tahoe City and a short drive to Palisades Tahoe/Alpine mountain.
Very clean, well furnished/stocked and spacious. Great view of the lake as well!
We were able to comfortably make breakfast in, while walking to dinner at several nearby great restaurants.

Thanks for having us. The location of the place is great! We were there during snow storm and the place was well stocked and warm.
The sofa bed is a bit thin but the main 2 bedrooms are fine. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensil.
Jamie was very responsive and answered all my questions.

The whole experience was seamless! The condo is “rustic”, but reminded me of my childhood family place. It truly saved our vacation after the rental we had booked 4 months in advance arbitrarily cancelled! Thanks Jamie!

This property needs a massive investment. There is a need for a serious cleaning. Don't even look at the filters you have been warned and yes you will be breathing all that dust. Many dishes are chopped and must be thrown away/replaced. Eating from these chopped and cracked dishes is a serious health hazard. The master BR king size bed is a complete nuisance as it leaves about a foot between the bed and the wall. Your knees will bump into one or another, especially at night and yes, they'll be crying BIG time... The master BR mattress is very old and as such had some very soft spots and uneven lines. Terrible for your low back which will be crying every morning...
A real shock was the fact that the property has no beach items, nothing, not even beach chairs...

Wonderful location on the Lake. It's hard to find budget-friendly condos on the lake but this older development fits the bill. Walking distance to Tahoe City eateries and galleries. Easy walk up rentals for SUP or kayaks at the public beach next door. Tennis, small pool were loads of fun too. The condo is tidy. Best for one family or two couples, with it's 2/2 format. Kitchen had what we needed. It's not deluxe but it was comfortable and clean. Some street noise from back bedroom that faces the main road through town but the development gets quiet by 10am on the lawn/lake facing side. We hope to return.

Great option for tahoe
We really enjoyed our stay. We rented a buoy for our boat at the property and it worked out well. Jamie (the owner) is super responsive which was a huge plus. The location is wonderful and there's a nice farmers market right next door on Thursdays. Restaurants around tahoe are struggling for staff right now so make reservations well in advance or hit the grocery store and cook in. I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect winter weekend!
We really enjoyed this home! We are not snow savvy, but this place made it easy to take our kids on a great snow adventure. Driving there was super easy, it had a covered parking space and all the comforts of home. There was a snow covered park right next door that our kids spent most of their time playing at, and a winter snow sport center (sledding, ice skating, cross country skiing) right across the street. What more could you ask for! We will definitely return!

The property was a great base for skiing - a VERY short walk to Tahoe City and a very short drive to Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows. It was perfect for two couples - good space and facilities. Booking and checking in was fast and easy.
The only areas i’d suggest for improvement would be to the lighting in the second bedroom and also somewhere to put skis/boards (eg a tray inside the front door as we didn’t want to make any marks/wet areas).
Overall a great stay - would love to stay again if we have the opportunity!

The property was a great base for skiing - a VERY short walk to Tahoe City and a very short drive to Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows. It was perfect for two couples - good space and facilities. Booking and checking in was fast and easy.

The bedrooms/bathrooms are nice sized and I slept like a baby. Fans are provided if you like white noise but the area is very peaceful and quiet.
Commons Beach is a very short walk away and it has great summer time bands on the beach on Sundays and movies on Wednesdays. There is a beautiful walking trail that follows the lake from Commons to the Marina where there is the Boatworks Mall and Jakes as well as gift shops.
The Arno's communicated throughout to make sure we had everything we needed even going so far to tell me that the River had opened up for rafting while we were here.
I have stayed at other properties from Zephyr Cove to Olympic Village and even have a timeshare and THIS IS MY FAVORITE! Thanks Jamie and family for sharing your beautiful home!

I continued the tradition with my own family, bringing them here for summer vacation - fireworks on the 3rd in Kings Beach, Tahoe City on the 4th and rafting down the Truckee. I decided to try a new place, more convenient to everything and this is absolutely it! The best place for watching fireworks, either from the balcony or the Lakefront's private beach. The home is on 2nd and 3rd floor and although it shares walls with other units, you do not hear a thing so they must be well insulated. The living and dining area is perfect with great views of the lake and plenty of seating for dinners in and comfy sofas for relaxing after a day on the water. My family and I just returned home after a week at The Arno's Tahoe home. This was a return visit after we'd spent a week there last Friday. In a season of epic snow the skiing didn't disappoint and never did the house. Fantastic location for everything in Tahoe City. Perfect size for a family of 4 (or in our case 3); wonderful views of the lake from the living area when it wasn't blocked by snow clouds. Very comfortable beds and excellent furniture through out. The property managers successfully cleared stairways and driveways in challenging conditions. We hope to be back!
