About this cottage rental

A beautifully renovated traditional three bedroomed farmhouse located on the Strathtyrum Estate close to the hugely popular Balgove Larder farm shop and restaurant. The house sits between the Balgove Larder complex and the main drive to Strathtyrum House with its own garden ground and private car park. The house, on three levels, is full of rural charm and offers an excellent base from which to discover all that St Andrews has to offer together with the wider East Neuk. Only a mile outside St Andrews but very much in the country it is an ideal house for golfing parties and families alike. The property lies a short walk from The Strathtyrum Gate Lodge and the two properties could be taken together for a total of 7 people.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff on the estate were very helpful and the house was perfect. Beds were comfortable & the location was absolutely perfect for our golf adventure. We will be back soon!

A wonderful location. So close to St Andrews but with a country feel. Home is quite spacious for four adults and a child. Very comfortable. Welcome goodies were a great surprise and a real treat. The farm shop, cafe and steak barn next door are amazing. A very comfortable stay. Would come again.

A farmhouse next door to the bountiful Balgove Larder to supply us with wonderful meals and groceries, in an historic estate that has been tied to St Andres Links for centuries, this was an ideal location for our party of five. So close to town but in the country. The farmhouse had lots of charm, comfortable beds and sizeable rooms. The kitchen and sitting areas were a bonus.

Our stay at this lovely farmhouse right next to Balgove Larder was perfect from start to finish— the home was warm and inviting, with a well equipped kitchen, cozy sitting room and 3 bedroom. Right next door is the amazing farm store/cafe that was a delight, and across the road was ready access to a cycle and walking path where we walked the breataking golf course each morning. Communication with the property owner was A+ as well. A perfect stay in every way! Many thanks.
