About this house rental
Sleeps ten - A wonderful 4 storey historic townhouse in the heart of St Andrews which has been tastefully renovated and refurbished over recent months. The end result is a fabulous property full of original features and traditional details but fully equipped for modern living.
The house lies towards the eastern end of South Street close to the historic cathedral and surrounded by many properties still occupied by the University. At this point South Street is a wide tree-lined boulevard with generous pavements and an almost continental feel. All that the town centre has to offer by way of shops, bars and restaurants is only a few steps away but despite that the house is located in a more tranquil part of the town centre.
There is a generous living room and separate dining room on the first floor with both rooms overlooking South Street and also on this floor is the beautifully refitted kitchen. The rooms on the first floor make wonderful use of the original exposed stone walls.
On the second and third floors the sleeping accommodation is extremely flexible with 4 double bedrooms that can either be super king size or twin bedded and two further single bedrooms, one bedroom has an en-suite shower room and there are two further shower rooms.
On the ground floor there is a generous entrance hall with a golf club storage area and through the utility area there is access to an outside courtyard area with seating.
This is a very special house for your special trip to St Andrews.

Please be aware that the annual Lammas Street Market will be in operation in St Andrews from August 8th to August 12th 2024. The market will operate on South Street from 10th August to 12th August and on these dates South Street will be closed to traffic. These streets will be very busy and some noise may travel from the market to the apartment. The market will operate until 11.00pm.

The property is great for larger groups and worked great for our group of 8 golfers. We all would definitely stay again.

Had a fantastic few days using the house as a base for our golfing trip.
8 golfers with loads of room. House was beautiful, very warm. Every facility that we needed was there.

Clean, spacious, great hosts, would book again in a heartbeat. We had a foursome of golfers, and then the girls with a little guy and the stay was perfect for our group. Having Sainsburys down Bakers lane and everything in walking distance made the stay most enjoyable. Thank you so much!

The house could not have worked out better for us- the location is great and the rooms are all very comfortable. It could be an issue for people who have trouble climbing stairs but that was not a problem for our family. We would definitely rent this place again.

Wonderful home right in the centre of St. Andrew's within walking distance of shops, restaurants and of most importantly all of the golf courses in town. Place is as good in person as it looks online. Great communication with rental owners. Highly recommend.

This flat was perfect for a golf group. It has everything you need, close to two great places to eat in ZiZi’s (amazing Italian food) and a great breakfast spot in the Canary. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The LOCATION was perfect for St. Andrews and lots of shops, bars, and restaurants were within a short walk. The bathrooms were good and the only complaint was that shower water didn't drain well

It was such an easy process from the booking to writing this review...the property is amazing. We as a group have stayed in St Andrews many times and this has been the best. The property is as per the profile. The communication was very fast and accurate. Absolute best location for food drinks and of course...GOLF!
We will certainly be back to stay again.
