My first concern is that in starting to schedule a vacation, I go to the maps on VRBO because I know exactly where I want to stay. So in selecting this home via the maps, it was listed as exactly where I wanted our family vacation to be and I did not realize until the day before we left and was sent the address that it was actually 10 miles away from my ideal location. This was very upsetting to me because growing up, we vacationed every year in Vail, and always stayed right in town so that we could walk to everything, so I wanted my children to experience that same thing.
Upon arriving to the home, the cleaners were still cleaning which was not a big deal, we put our bags in the entry area and did our grocery shopping. Unfortunately, they were still there until about 5, they explained that it is hard to clean a huge house like this one in just a couple of hours between each group, which I clearly agreed. They wished the owner would leave a day between the groups so that they would have time to clean the home properly, which I also agree because it was not cleaned up to standards of homes we usually stay at.
The refrigerator in the garage didn't work and had moldy food in the freezer. The garage was filled with trash which seemed like it had been there for about a month. I had to request for it to be dumped a couple of times.
3rd Floor Deck the banisters are NOT up to code, allowing for a child to be able to fit between them. Hot tub also had exposed wires.

Let me start with the property. The house was spacious and exactly as advertised. It is well furnished and all of the amenities such as spa, hot tub, dry spa, grill, etc were in working order. The owner keeps the kitchen well stocked with your day to day needs which may save you buying sugar, salt, tin foil, etc. We left similar supplies as a "pay it forward". Was about a 10-15 minute drive into Vail Village and with free parking in Vail for summer that was a plus. Nice evenings on the deck enjoying views. Vail was a bit warmer (mid 80s) than I expected, but when we opened the house it would eventually cool down for sleeping.
I have to comment though on the owner and his responsiveness. He was informative, returned all messages quickly and loves to give suggestions based on what you are looking for. Have truly never rented from someone as responsive and just wanting to make sure you enjoy his property

Gorgeous and well-kept property. basement was undergoing MINOR renovations to the floor, but was otherwise perfectly clean, habitable, and beautiful.
The house is a duplex, very accessible from I-70, and has all the amenities you could want, and more!
All of the many bathrooms/showers are fully stocked with shampoo/conditioner/soap, and makeup removal supplies (not to mention ample warm and soft towels).
The bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of storage room if you need it. The skylights are a perfect way to start the day
The steam room, sauna, and hot tub were all excellent ways to relax after a long day
All of the amenities worked perfectly, and the kitchen is fairly well stocked with a ton of cooking ingredients that I never see in any other shared rental -- seriously, there's a ton of essential spices and cooking materials etc
Patrick is a very attentive host and really just wants to make sure you have a good time. Feel free to reach out to him if you have any questions at all and he'll point you in the right direction -- he's a great person and an excellent host.
Be mindful that this house is NOT a 12 minute walk from the amp. To be honest, walking anywhere from the house is not super doable, especially if you're a flatlander. it's quite a ways up this steep hill and the only access is to a frontage road off the freeway -- you pretty much need a car to get anywhere to/from. But, as with all ski towns, the public transportation is wonderful
Overall, 10/10

Great location . House had everything we needed. We had 5 -18 yr old boys-and they took over the basement. Pool table, hot tub and plenty of sleeping space for them the spread out. It was awesome! Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook every night. Patrick was very responsive.

Absolutely awesome place to stay. More than enough room and a terrific location. Patrick is a great host. I highly recommend!

Great location...short distance and very convenient to both Beaver Creek and Vail. Overall cleanliness good, kitchen well stocked with basic staples which simplified prep for meals at house. Nice layout, plenty of room for guests to spread out and do multiple activities...game room with pool table a plus. Also enjoyed hot tub, sauna, and steam shower on lower level after day of skiing. Plenty of dry firewood for fireplace and wifi info prominent on table top near home entrance. Great views from large windows on side of house off extremely large great room.
Did have some TV issues in connecting with desired channels...recommend specific instructions be provided in future to avoid recurrences. Outdoor grill needed cleaned and was unusable.
Overall ski group had a great week and gives the home high marks primarily for size, conveniences, and general accommodations. Our group realized we had rented the same house about 10 years ago and were not disappointed with experience second time around!

Awesome Airbnb with enough space to accompany many friends and families. Would definitely recommend for big groups.

We arrived late at night from Florida during a blizzard. The house was warm and the views are more than amazing. We came to see snow and there sure was a lot of it. Patrick the owner was very attentive and answered any questions we had promptly. He even called occasionally just to check on us and chatted with me about where to go to see and things on our list. The house was very clean and well taken care of. Patrick let us know that minor upgrades were being done and we were ok with it as we could tell it was only going to be better for the next time we go. I look forward to planning our next stay in Patrick’s home and we thank him for opening it up to us!

The property was great. It has a hot tub, sauna, and steam shower. However, it is actively undergoing renovations. This means that nails are sticking out of walls, bathroom doors that don't have trim and allow people to see into the bathroom even when the door is closed (an issue when you have a shared bathroom with multiple rooms), and the basement queen bedroom is missing trim around an exterior door which is not insulated properly so the wind blows through the room all night making it impossible to heat the room.
If it weren't undergoing renovations, this would have been one of the better places I have stayed and I would have given a 5-star rating. We stayed Jan 2024. I would check with the property manager if they are still doing renovations before staying here. Though getting a response from the manager before your stay is difficult.
Also, there weren't enough towels for every guest. Contacted the host and he said he would send some over but none ever came.

Beautiful home, great location, beautiful view.
Patrick was at property to greet us. Was a bit confusing at first since there was a cleaning crew and construction crew working we arrived at 5:45pm.
Patrick was a great host. We inquired prior to our travel if it was possible to have a Christmas tree. We arrived and he had personally set up a tree and decorated the main living areas.
.
Everyone expressed how comfortable the beds were. So much room for everyone.
Downstairs game room with sauna, steam shower, hot tub and pool table was exceptional.
It was apparent home was going through some minor upgrades. There were supplies ie: baseboards and doors stacked in upstairs hallway and game room. Microwave was way too high but we cooked all our meals at home thanks to Patrick’s suggestion.

Wonderful 2 week vacation from the heat in Houston.

Patrick was a great host! He was very responsive when we had questions and check in/check out was seamless. The pictures listed are accurate. We loved the spa amenities and took full advantage of the hot tub, sauna & steam room after skiing! Location is great; quick ~10 minute drive to Vail Village and <10 min to a Walmart Supercenter for groceries.

The property and location were perfect. Spacious and right in between vail and beaver creek. The hot tub, sauna and steam room are really a nice touch. We couldn’t say enough good things

Nice place but needs updating.

This was the most disappointing house we have stayed in. First the good - good location, plenty of space for everyone, ok beds and owner called me back and was apologetic for the issues. The bad - no maintenance or repair done to the property in quite awhile, and cleaning was bad. Just to name a few of the bigger problems - edge of second stair broken under carpet and dangerous, hot tub trips breaker on every use so could not use, parts of hot tub broken and floating in hot tub and laying outside of hot tub, drain in showers/tubs missing, drain plugged in one shower so water backs up, fireplace grate broken and fireplace full of ash, kitchen chair leg broken, no matches or lighter for fireplace, no salt for driveway or walkway, shower head clogged, carpets or very old, torn, not clean and way past their useful life, window cranks broken and windows leaking cold air into bedrooms. Also note the driveway was steep and icy, and we had to go buy salt and apply it so that we could get in and out in our 4 wheel drive SUV. We really wanted to like this place but it was a really disappointing stay. My guess is that the owner lives far away, does not have a management company and has no idea of the condition of the property. Otherwise, I am guessing he would take it off the market, fix and update all of the problems, and then put it back up for rent.

Awesome location, convenient to vail and Beaver Creek. House is great for accommodating our group of 13. House is dated but was perfect for our group. Thanks for hosting us.

Lots of room for everyone. The layout of the rooms was just like we needed.

The house is about 9 miles from Vail. We had peopled skiing every day so trip was easy. We used all amenities! Hot tub, sauna, pool table and more. Kitchen was fully equipped and had lots of items in the pantry. I was even able to bake a cake. We ate most of our meals out of the house and used the grill several times. Patrick responded quickly when contacted. Rooms were large and comfortable! We will definitely stay again if we take another trip to Vail!

Location, location location. You cannot beat the location of this house! It is close to both Beaver Creek and Vail. Plenty of room for a large crowd. We had 16. We were greeted with a basket of goodies which were great pocket snacks for the slopes. There is plenty of condiments, spices and pantry items. We cooked almost every night. The only issue we had was the outside grill needed to be cleaned we let the owner know for the next group. Plenty of supplies like soap, shampoo, paper towels etc. We had a small issue with the hot tub coming up to temp and some of the baskets were broken. But come to find out it was probably in energy saver mode. Would have liked an instruction sheet for the hot tub. The sauna worked perfectly. There were plenty of towels for both showers and the hot tub/sauna. Plenty of parking we fit 4 SUV's in the driveway. The cleaning folks were also very nice. They realized that we needed large garbage bags and dropped them off even before we asked. All in all great vacation.

This home is in a great location and is quite large. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. However, it's a bit older and needs some TLC. However, our group enjoyed it.

Family stay for an Extended Reunion
Property suited our needs for family with wide range of ages. Location perfect as our reunion was at the Pavilion at Eagle Vail
Garbage pick up delay an unfortunate issue. Spoke with Patrick about this, he appreciated knowing this.

Fantastic Family Vacation Spot
This is a wonderfully located spacious home. We had 13 including 5 grand children to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. This home has spaciousness that allowed us to have a wonderful week together. It had wonderful large bedrooms for privacy and quiet time when needed. It also had several large gathering spots for several group or one large gatherings. The views were spectacular! The beds comfortable. Located very close to Vail and many other wonderful venues. A fun Par three golf course.near as well as a fine full course with a great open practice facility within a half mile.
The kitchen and eating facilities were ample and all appliances worked well. There were two refrigerators and an ice machine which was most helpful and appreciated.
Patrick is a fine host and was most pleasant and helpful. It had welcome input into activities and facilities. He was also prompt to respond when we had inquiries.
This is a great location for large family gatherings or a group of friends. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and steam shower too. We are most glad to have secured this property for our family celebration.

Overall A Great Place
This house was great for our family vacation! The location is amazing and the size was perfect for our large family. There were some areas on the outside of the home that was a little run down. What concerned me the most were the railings on the deck. We had small children with us and the railings were very far apart and would have been very easy for you Little’s to fall through. Other than that, we loved our stay. Patrick was very quick to respond to any of our requests.

Perfect Fit
We travel to Vail every year to ski at Spring Break. This home was the perfect fit for our family of 5 and other guests with children that stayed. We arrived early and Patrick was kind enough to let us drop off our suitcases at 10:30 am on the day of check in while we ventured around Vail Village. Any issues we had were addressed immediately. His response was always quick. The home was perfect allowing everyone their own space. Our kids loved playing in the snow and soaking in the hot tub. The drive into Vail Village was 10 minutes. We just parked in the parking garage by the transportation center, $30 for the day skiing. Don't park at the Solaris parking garage, you will pay a fortune. I would highly recommend staying here if you have a large party. Great home and Patrick was spot on for restaurant recommendations. Thank you so much for the use of your home. We are working on a summer trip :)

Spacious, conveniently located, and reasonably priced
We had a group of 15, with ages ranging from 2-69. The house was perfect! There was room for everyone. The kitchen was huge and nicely stocked with pots, pans, etc. The house is a 10-15 minute drive to Vail Village — so very convenient for skiing.

Extended Family Ski Vacation
The host, Patrick, was very warm and helpful. Very easy to work with. The location is excellent for skiing at Vail and BC. It is as good as it gets for access to Camp Hale or the Tennessee Gap during the winter too. If I planned to have a group of 15 stay at one property west of the Vail Pass, I'd choose this one.

Great Ski Getaway
The house was great, very spacious! We had a great ski getaway with a large group, everyone had plenty of space and their own beds. The house is a great location between the two resorts and with plenty of parking. We loved the spa features after a long day on the slopes. Patrick was very attentive and easy to get hold of! Would love to stay again

Our 60th anniversary
Our family had a lovely time staying in this property! There was plenty of room for everyone. Although there were some problems with the hot tub, your people came to fix it. I would suggest tags on the kitchen cabinets so people don’t have to spend so much time trying to find things in them.
I really appreciate the oxygen machine that you had there. It turns out the altitude was really effecting me and after living in Colorado my whole life and spending much time in the mountains it was very upsetting and difficult for me to breathe and if the oxygen machine hadn’t been available, my husband and I would have had to go home!
The owner was very accessible and friendly! Thanks for a lovely place to celebrate Thanksgiving and our 60th Anniversary!

Spacious
Excellent location ! Very spacious home, beautiful views and all the amenities! The hot tub was clean and serviced weekly. Very spacious king suites with plenty of over flow sleeping for everyone. Easy to contact the owner and entry. Although house is a touch dated it is clearly the best value for the space around the valley 👍 Will stay here again !

Perfect for a college reunion wedding weekend
A large group of us stayed for the week and found that this was the perfect home for our needs. We all had adequate space when it came time to wind down and found the common areas and amenities perfect for hanging together. There are plenty of games and puzzles for the days we stayed in, and a hiking trail very close for hikes and runs. Would recommend!

Amazing house, great location
We enjoyed our stay at this cozy house. We were 6 adults and 6 kids - comfortably fit in the bedrooms and around the dining room table.
The house was very clean and had all the necessary supplies. Location was very convenient - quite neighborhood, but close to everything. Patrick was very accommodating and responded to our questions in a short amount of time. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property!

family group of 9 - siblings & children
house was large enough for our group, but make sure your group is adaptable to the types of bed options. Location in Eagle Vail was good (it's not in Vail). The house is not new. There have been upgrades to the kitchen but not so much elsewhere regarding general conditions & furnishings - very dated or in poor condition. Other reviews, older than a year noted a broken window - still present during our stay. In my family's opinion, this is not a luxury accommodation, and not what we were expecting. If you are wanting luxury, this is probably not the property for you.
Patrick was generally responsive. I spoke with him about our thoughts & offered suggestions for improvement. He told me all would be taken care of.
If you rent this property, communicate with Patrick immediately if needed.

This was a way for my wife and I to host our adult children in a beautiful setting.
Location was great with about a 15 minute drive to Vail village. The house suited our needs perfectly as a group of 9- large kitchen and dining area, large family room, great amenities like hot tub, sauna, steam shower, pool table exactly as portrayed in the listing. Would stay again if a similar active vacation was planned.
