Great house for large family get together. Ideal location with short walk to the beach. Well organized and modern kitchen. Vacation rental company is very responsive. House has direct neighbors, and that was not well represented in photos of the outdoor of the home and the neighborhood has three active houses being built so we had to deal with construction noises during our visit which was not ideal. Some areas of the home are used harder than others and could use a deep clean. The hot tub was nice but needed cleaning attention. Overall a good visit and a home we would rent again.

The house was clean, welcoming and comfortable for our group of 12. The easy walk to the beach was such a nice benefit. The kitchen was well stocked and worked well for group cooking. Highly recommend this home!

Beautiful clean house with tons of room. Short walk over the dunes to beach or drive on a block or two in each direction. Best part was we could bring our dog and ten of our closest friends as well.

The house was absolutely beautiful . It was great having 4 full bathrooms with 12 people. The game room was a lot of fun. We had several Foose ball and ping pong tournaments. There were 2 refrigerators and plenty of room in the pantry. The kitchen was fully stocked. It was a great location with a great view from the upstairs.

We had a great stay. The house had everything we needed plus the bonus of the sand/volleyball court in the back, easy walk (.15 miles) to the beach, hot tub, and fun games in the garage and toy/play area upstairs. We were blessed with great weather during our stay, but I know we would have still had fun had we been stuck inside. If we had questions, we received quick responses. The location was great too-It's a short drive to town (about 10 minutes), where there are several great restaurant and food cart options. Grocery stores are even closer about 5-minutes north. I highly recommend this place for a big family with kids or a group of friends with kids.

House was lovely, except for everyone woke up with sore backs from the terrible mattresses throughout the house. Front door lock didn’t work properly either. when I called the property management to report it, they told me to change the batteries myself but there weren’t any batteries for it and I wasn’t gonna go buy them some.

We enjoyed our visit however, there was a misunderstanding regarding times of check out. There is way more room for people than they allow which seems like a waste of space. Two sets of friends stayed somewhere else because we would have been over the limit with their kids. So much room was available-it's a shame. But the house and location were great for the price and splitting it between two families.

First off, this place is great. Well laid out house on perfect beach access property. We would probably use it again. The lower score comes from the house not being clean when we arrived. Sticky kitchen floor, dirty windows, left over items from previous renter, stale food in garage/play area, dog waste on front porch, cereal and other old food containers under the bed. The exterior slider doors and windows do not operate well and are hard to use.
ALL of these have to do with the property management, not the place itself.

This was a very nice home, although for the money, it is a bit aged and needs some nicer decor. Plenty of eating spaces. The kitchen was very wonderful for cooking and eating. We had three groups and the upstairs had a tv/game place for kids to be. Also one family was upstairs which gave us all privacy. There are four bathrooms which was a luxury. I don’t think we will rent again because the price per night and the extra costs were shocking when I saw the total. I could have traveled to Europe for a week on what this cost for three nights. The management team was incredibly helpful, friendly, and responded to my questions very quickly. It was an easy walk to the beach, and the sand area near the house was a great play area for the kids, even though it is shared with the neighbor home. Stickers were a problem, but we were warned by management team, so we were careful to keep shoes outside. Bathrooms were all new and very, very nice. Kids went in to Long Beach to the arcade and for ice cream. They had a great time. Also, there is a great grocery store in Ocean Park so we didn’t have to suffer the congestion of Long Beach.

The house was great and a beautiful location. There are a few things about the house that need attention. The AC was not really getting cool, we couldn't find the back porch light switch (labeling light switches might be helpful), there was sand in the living room couches and chairs, left side of toaster did not work, coffee table was very wobbly, refrigerator light needs to be replaced, there was missing window screens and one missing sliding screen door, the back porch sliding screen was stuck open, the BBQ grill door fell off, there was two empty propane tanks for the grill (we were not able to grill on Thursday night). I texted the maintenance guy for propane and he said that he was not available and I had to go to the store to pick up propane. All these things should be easily addressed. We did however, have a wonderful time during our stay. Thank you. I met the owner and he was great.

Beach access second to none. Awesome layout of house, open plan and natural light. Hot tub w a nice view. Not great for spreading kids out related to sleeping arrangements. Sliver producing burrs throughout the property were painful and rendered outdoor activities at the house impossible. ‘Game room’ had a lot to be desired. Overall really enjoyed the place.

lovely house, super large, well equipped kitchen with a beautifully set up coffee bar area. We this home and the one next door and had a blast. The beach is way closer than it even appears and the sandy back yard was a hit with the kids and adults!

The home was very beautiful, cozy and relaxing! I needed to let owner know that the garbage were almost full. They apologized zed and asked if we had enough room for our garbage and that we wouldn't be charged for the extra garbage! They were very prompt to get back to me and very kind!

We’ve rented places on the Pacific coast for 25 years, at least twice a year, and this was the worst ever. Though there are no houses between it and the beach, it’s a 3/8 mile hike through dunes and grasses and pricklies. No view from main floor. One bedroom uninhabitable due to openness to rest of house and big, uncovered windows. Not clean and in disrepair. All blinds inoperable. Mattress pad had blood on it—we found when stripping bed. Yuck. Cleaners had to have seen it. And refrigerator broke—manager unhelpful, even rude. Spent days without. We still loved being at the beach all together, but paid a lot for house and it wasn’t good.

The home was beautiful, and we loved that it was a short few minutes walk tot he beach! Since it’s a few miles from town, there were very few people on the beach. We saw eagles feeding on the beach, and deer running through the beach grass! It was fun to have the volleyball court right out back, but the goatheads all around the property were a bummer. We tried not to track anything into the house, but it was challenging to avoid them out back and we learned quickly to keep our shoes on while running around in the back. Overall it was great place with plenty of space for a large family, with different areas around the home to either gather, OR find some solitude. The view from the upper level was beautiful!

We enjoyed our short stay here (2 nights in July). We are two families with 3 children under 3 and the kids especially liked the upstairs playroom with toys. I do wish there was an outside dining table and possibly clearing some of the prickly growth directly outside the house in the back (our children become scared to walk around themselves outside after getting prickles in their shoes and it hurting them)!

Lovely house with great views but many rules
We stayed here with a small group of friends. The house was clean and tidy, the view was great and the hot tub and fireplace were a nice treat. The property was a little worn with some splintering on the front and back stairs and noisy beds. The biggest negative was that there were A LOT of rules and threatened fines for anything from producing too much garbage to making any noise that would disturb grouchy neighbors. We had a lovely time and made some great memories, but likely will not stay at this property again.

Winter Beach Getaway!
We had three families on this vacation and this house was really great for a large group. Plenty of space to spread out and come together. We had great weather and really loved walking out to the beach. The only bummer was that there was a very strong odor in the garage so we didn't utilize the ping pong table etc. But it didn't ruin our fun!

Great family birthday gathering with 9 family members ranging from 7 to 72. Nice bedrooms for all, many (most?) have in-suite bathrooms. Clean and well stocked house and kitchen. Provides books, games, etc for all age levels. View from water side ocean, walk down to beautiful white beaches fun for all. Bring a kite to fly! In an area with only a few houses near us - never saw or heard our neighbors. Hot tub outside, indoor games in garage. We all though it was the perfect place to be!

50th anniversary
This is a beautiful property with los of amenities and comfort. We had a hard time finding the property as the GPS program in our car did not put us on the right road. Simple instructions of which road turned into the property would have been helpful. So would a picture of what The direct access to the beach is wonderful. This is a private location even with a house close next door. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The house was everything the site said it would be and then some. Our party was 10, but the house could have handled 2 more easily. The neighborhood feels very safe and friendly and the beach access was amazing! Everyone had fun and there was room to stretch out and relax…
