Property was fine with a few appliances needing some help. Great location, really comfy beds and plenty of room for 10 very senior ladies. Bed configuration was not what we expected from the VRBO site as well as where the bedrooms were located (we have handicapped people and would have been nice to know which floor the different bedrooms were on. Biggest glitch was not being able to operate the lock box so could not get in the main house. With no way to contact the owner, we were so lucky that the next door neighbor had her cell number and texted her for the right code. That didn't work so was able to talk to her when she told me of an alternative key to get in. Otherwise, in the rain we would have had to drove 2 1/2 hours home and never gotten to stay there after paying a huge amount of money.

This property was super special! We loved the long deck overlooking the canal. The kitchen was well equipped and the property was beautiful. Beds were very comfortable. We had 13 people (hiking group) and felt that we all had comfortable beds. Really such a nice visit!

The view from the deck would have been enough but this place was so much more than that.

Our five granddaughters loved the bunk room! All 13 of us enjoyed the kayaks and the hot tub was great. The location allowed us to spend a day each in Seattle and Port Townsend as well as do some hiking and waterfall play nearby. We saw some elk and their calves at the nearby park in addition to the otters and seals in front of the house.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful, well-equipped home!

My family all agreed this home is the best place we've found for our reunion to date! Stunning views over the canal, bird watching, kayaking, swimming, a hot tub, plenty of bedrooms, quiet location, close to beautiful hiking trails....the list goes on. We definitely hope to return. Thanks to the owners for maintaining and sharing such a beautiful home. My recommendations to other guests are to bring binoculars and be aware that there are not grocery stores or restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Just plant to bring in groceries because you won't want to leave this beautiful spot!

Lovely cottage and location. Worked beautifully for my siblings and I with our spouses. Kitchen worked great for cooking large meals and there was plenty of room to spread out. The views are spectacular and so much wildlife to see!

This was the perfect location for our friendsgiving! The big kitchen was ideal for preparing meals for our group. The view, especially from the hot tub was a favorite. The weather cooperated so we had perfect conditions to take the kayaks out a couple times. 10/10

Beautiful & spacious property directly on the Canal. Absolutely stunning views & a wonderful oasis to celebrate any occasion! We wish we had booked for a longer stay.

The view was fantastic. The location was great. We used the entire property and really felt like it was a good house and a good stay. The kitchen had anything you would need, living room furniture was comfrortable and all the beds slept well. We used the kyacks, nice equipment. The weather wasn't the best for the hot tub. The owner responded fairly quickly when we had a small key box issue. I have plans on going back.

Stayed here for a long weekend with 5 family units and this rental was great for our group of 8 adults and two teenagers. View was gorgeous, hottub overlooking hood canal was fantastic, and had no issues with the property (rooms as advertised, nice sheets and towels, and plenty of soap, garbage bags, coffee filters etc. (as well as a basic collection of kitchen spices, cooking oil, etc. available for use)). This group does not repeat locations, but would definitely consider revisiting if I were looking for a place for a different group.

Lovely well appointed home on the waterfront. Lots of wildlife and very peaceful setting. We swam and kayaked every day.

This was the perfect escape for our extended family of 11 people. Extra clean house, comfortable spaces for all to sleep, and a well-stocked kitchen made it perfect. The kayaks, hot tub and wildlife made the trip beyond our expectations. The ability to go from coffee on the deck to floating in the water was incredible. Not having to drive anywhere made it possible to just go out and paddle whenever we wanted in whatever groups of people who wanted to go. Even spent some time on a SUP reading on the water. The resident bald eagles and seals were a real treat. Family meals around the large dining room table (and then card games afterwards) rounded out each day.
The house was REALLY clean, which we appreciated. The owners responded right away to any questions we had leading up to the visit. We really felt like we were guests in a friend's home.
One note--the "shore" during low tide is filled with sharp shells. Water shoes that cover your whole foot are a must, or tennis shoes if not going in the water. Most of us had them, some had to buy them there which worked out fine.
Hope to return!

Our family had plenty of room in this well equipped vacation home. The things that make it stand out was the extra space in the mother in law tiny house, the hot tub, the kayaks, the water front, the bunk room, the spacious kitchen and dining area…so much going for this house. Thanks for sharing it with our family.

This house met all of expectations. The views were great. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us to be to do things together or individually. The kayaks and hot tubs were frequently used.

A very clean and inviting home with enough room for all to get away from each other when desired. We especially enjoyed watching bald eagles passing by frequently going to and from a nest nearby. Even got a photo of one chick. also enjoyed a blue heron as a frequent visitor and seals on the float. Only issues were we were unable to use the propane firepit due to a broken knob, and we had mistakenly assumed from a picture showing a float out in the canal that we would be able to swim out there.

Our group of 4 adult couples all enjoyed our stay. We were all very comfortable. MIL house was handy, too.
We would all recommend this home. Glad we ventured to another National Park.

We’ve spent many trips at Triton Winds with friends. It’s accommodating and comfortable. I’d encourage bringing sheets/binder clips for the living room and the mother in law house for bright days as there are no blinds on the windows. The bunk room is perfect for kids, but is directly next to the living room/noise from the adults. The hot tub is always pleasant and we enjoy Oysters from Hamma Hamma on the fire pit by the beach. All in such a great place!

We had a wonderful retreat here. Yoga on the big deck while watching the otters and seals...eagles flying overhead was incredible. Beautiful home and great stay.

This property had everything we needed for a great long weekend on the canal! The home had plenty of space for our group, it was clean, and we felt it was fully stocked with amenities! You can’t beat the on-water location. We had so much fun and would love to be able to stay again sometime. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This house is well stocked. It had more kitchen items than most rental houses. The other amenities are also a plus; kayaks, fire pit, cornhole board, hot tub and lots of space to relax. The hosts are very receptive and make our trip very enjoyable.
Thanks for a great stay!

Great family oriented house
We were three generations at our family gathering. The youngest was 7 years old and the oldest was 85 years old. The house was large enough and equipped well enough to accommodate everyone. We would definitely stay here again.

One word - relaxation
We booked this home as the last leg of our Olympic Peninsula road trip. It delivered on all points. Navigating the last turns to the house are tricky, particularly if you are coming from the north. I am glad we arrived in sunlight. The home is out of a pottery barn magazine, very nice, clean beachy vibe. View is amazing. Everything was described accurately. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Beautiful and spacious home on the water!
We had a family getaway for the weekend and it was perfect for all ages! Beautiful scenery. Spacious! Very close to clamming and oysterying. We’d love to come back again!

Gorgeous view
This is a beautiful house with a gorgeous view. The hot tub is in the perfect location and is a great spot to relax and take in the views. We stayed here with family for a 30th birthday with 7 adults and 3 children. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space / privacy. I would definitely recommend this house!

Quiet and relaxing.
The house is well equipped for a group of adults to have a quiet and relaxing weekend. We lounged, hot tubbed, ate together on the big table, went diving and hiking. If you are wondering which picture is the murphy bed room, its the one with the two blue chairs and big white cabinets with a ladder on the right. Kitchen was well equipped, spices were available, some staples as well. We hope to come back.

Loved this house!
Great view of the canal. It snowed more than 8 inches and we had plenty of food and winter gear for walking in. It was a good house to be stuck in with 12 people. I would also like to stay here during the summer!

Just what we needed
The property was amazing. A little difficult to find when it's dark out and somewhat concerning how hidden the house was. Aside from that it was an amazing stay and a nice home away from home to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. So cozy!

Family Getaway
A couple times a year we rent a vacation home for our sons, daughter-in-laws, and grandchildren to gather with us for a few days. The family enjoyed the main house: toys, beds, kitchen(very well stocked), the outside: hot tub, beach, yard, fire pit, and the area: state parks and hiking.
Everyone would love to come back!

Labor Day Get Away
The pictures of this property and home don’t do it justice - beautiful space with ample room and a great setting to unwind and relax. The views, the spaciousness of the home, and the stocked necessities made this 10-member family get away very enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable; we all agreed this would be a home we’d book again and highly recommend to those in search for a great stay-in-home trip. We did venture to Hamma Hamma for oysters, a short drive down the road, and the kayaking was fun, a first for our kids who loved it! Indeed, much easier to launch during high tide than low but both suffice the desire to enjoy the water. We used the hot tub frequently and was peaceful stargazing out on the deck at night. They even had some toys for our boys, we brought some just in case, but the new and different ones are always way more fun. :) 10/10
Note:
-Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, body wash is provided.
-We brought a roll of paper towels, knowing we go through quite a bit, and still used up what was provided and what we brought.
