It can be a little nerve wracking booking a week’s vacation based on a listing and pictures, and happy to say it was everything we hoped for and more. The house was really clean, with a great layout and beautiful back yard and pool. Having a beach pass was a nice bonus and we appreciated having chairs and an umbrella for our use. We all agreed this is one of the best houses we’ve rented to date.

Had a wonderful stay in West Barnstable. Stayed for a week with my husband and three year old, my parents, and my brother and his husband. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and spent every waking minute in it. The house was a great fit for us all. The location was so convenient as it was about 10 minutes to Hyannis where we had a few nights out. Received quick responses to any questions/comments we had and overall had such a great stay and would definitely think about staying here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at this house, we would love to stay again!
Communication with the owners leading up to check-in and throughout the stay was exceptional. Clear and comprehensive.
The house and yard were both in great shape, as advertised. It's a very comfortable house. The pergola with beautiful wisteria was great for enjoying meals or a workout on the deck. We loved having evening fires in the firepit. The pool was fantastic and well maintained. We grilled and cooked for the majority of our meals, and the kitchen was very well stocked. (Sharp knives! Nice pots and pans!)
Beach pass was a big plus, and there were plenty of beach chairs for us to use.
Highly recommend this house for an easy and quiet visit to the Cape!

The home and pool were great. The home was not cluttered which we loved for our young kids. The location is quiet. Pool is great. Short ride to beach. One of the better homes we’ve rented over the years. I would recommend it.

We can’t say enough good things about this property. We have rented many lovely homes on the Cape, but this one was a standout. It is impeccable - so clean and beautiful inside and outside. This home had everything we hoped for and more. The swimming pool is wonderful and the location of this home is fantastic - it is at the end of a very quiet road. There are beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and quaint shops all nearby. And we loved the Barnstable Market for groceries, baked goods, and fresh produce. You won’t be disappointed if you rent this home!

Could not ask for a nicer house to spend a vacation. All we needed was our clothing and any food we wanted to bring with us and/or purchase nearby. Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable, and centrally located to the beaches and any restaurant we wanted to go to. Our grandson loved that he could setup his Switch to one of the TVs and use it anytime without annoying the rest of us. He also enjoyed using the pool . My wife and I just loved being able to relax on the outside deck. When visiting the cape in the future we wouldn't hesitate to rent here again.
PS: It was nice to have a Barnstable beach pass supplied by the hosts which saved us parking fees.

This property has become the site of totally satisfying family vacations. Here we have enough comfortable space for all the kids and grandkids, a pool/deck area that now takes precedence over the two nearby beaches, sufficient grounds for outdoor play, and total peace and quiet. The property is very well maintained, with help when needed immediately available.

My family and I spent a week on the Cape and we couldn't have been happier with our decision to rent the house at 39 Salt Meadow Lane in W. Barnstable. The house was beautiful and the location was perfect: close to the beaches, Route 6 and it was very private because it is on a dead end. We bought our groceries at the Whole Foods in Hyannis which was only 5 miles from the house. When we got to the house, there were no surprises. The house and the pool were clean and very well maintained just as they are in the pictures. We loved the open concept of the first floor. The kitchen was fully stocked. There is also a pergola in the backyard where we ate most of our meals. Everyone in the family was able to relax. At the end of the week, the kids did not want to leave because they loved the pool so much. We definitely recommend this property to anyone who is interested in exploring the cape or who simply wants a place to relax. We hope that one day, we will be able to return and rent this beautiful house again.

I’ve been vacationing on the Cape for many years and have rented many different homes. I can honestly say that this home is an ideal choice. The owners were thoughtful, attentive and concerned that my family enjoyed our stay in their home.
The house is well laid out and very comfortable and includes an underground pool which my family was able to enjoy during our recent stay..
I have nothing but complements for the owners and can honestly say that you won’t be disappointed by choosing this home for your vacation

The entire family enjoyed our stay here. There is easy access to the beaches: Sandy Neck is wonderful in the early evening for relaxing, catch, sunsets, and an amazing hike among the dunes, while Barnstable is good for searching for snails, tiny crabs and such. The pool makes all the difference- no need to constantly pack up and go. The secluded house itself is quite comfortable, and the large open lawns are perfect for soccer and baseball.

I would recommend this property as it is well situated off route 6A and close to the local beach. The house has comfortable rooms and a lovely pool and had plenty of good tvs in the house for the whole family. My son and his wife and two boys enjoyed the house as we did . The property was clean and well maintained and was close to restaurants in Barnstaple.

We had a great time at this wonderful cape in West Barnstable. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. There is a TV in just about every room. AC is available for the hotter days. The pool is the highlight and so convenient to relax while the kids are swimming. The location is very secluded and yet, right off 6A so it's easy to get to the supermarket to stock up on groceries for the week. If you are a beachgoer, it is easy to head to Sandy Neck beach which has hiking trails and plenty of space to let the family sprawl out. The owners are very friendly and do a great job at maintaining the property. Overall this is a great rental and a perfect place for a relaxing visit to the Cape!

I will start out by saying I did not go to Cape Cod for a vacation or retreat. I came to the Cape to be close to the hospital and for my sister. We were fortunate to find this home and it provided everything we needed for solace and comfort. We arrived mid-March and stayed until the end of June. While there were a couple of hiccups which can happen with any property, the homeowners assessed and addressed the issues very quickly. They were an absolute joy to work with and very lovely and kind. The home is close to Sandy Neck beach (a new favorite of mine) as well as the Village of Barnstable which is full of charm and wonderful people. Be sure to visit the Blue Plate Diner in town for a delicious breakfast, the best cup of decaf coffee I've had out, and friendly wait staff. We didn't do many tourist activities but found beautiful paths to walk and other wonderful restaurants, including Amari on 6A, JD's Burger - both in Sandwich. Also, I spent time doing Bikram yoga (for the first time) which is in walking distance to the home and found a new respect for yoga. The home is conveniently located and equipped with all you could need. When the day came to leave, I closed the door behind me feeling a bit melancholy. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.
