This Quaint Cottage is located in the Heart of Hubbards, It has its own low tide beach situated beside the local sailing school. Watch the kids learn to sail while you drink your coffee or visit local shops and markets just a 5 minute walk away. A large deck will be enjoyed throughout the day, and enjoy siting by the fire pit at night. Located within walking distance to the world renowned Shore club enjoy the best Nova Scotia lobster dinner followed by live entertainment at night.

We spent 4 nights in this small but clean and well maintained cottage on the Nova Scotia South Shore near Hubbards. Nice water view. Good bathroom with tub/shower combo. Lots of hot water. A few minutes drive from shops and restaurants in Hubbards including a grocery store. Good deck to barbecue or sit with a drink. This unit is best suited for up to two people. Owners Glen, Ruby and Clayton are fully engaged and available. Cottage shares a parking area with the owners’ recreational equipment business but it isn’t busy or disruptive. A fun place for a few days in Nova Scotia.

Came for a week to revisit Halifax and area, but stay in a quiet area. It was great, caught Fleet Week, saw Peggy's cove, Lunenberg, all the stuff in Halifax, narrowly missed the incoming storm....Good Luck folks. Spent a lot of time talking with Nova Scotians who are great people, always had the feeling they'd give you the shirt off their backs.

Overall a decent place to stay but not my favorite. The hosts Glen and Ruby were really nice. No live tv (only Netflix and such available) was a bit disconcerting. The steps up to the cottage could prove to be troublesome to some people. As my husband and I are in our 70’s, we did get our exercise. The bed and the bathroom were excellent.

Our first trip to Nova Scotia -- this was a great home base for exploring the sea-bound coast. Easy drive to Halifax and covenient to lighthouses and other sights. It is a lovely and comfortable cottage. Bring your own spices and soaps/body-cleaning products.

We met the property owner upon arrival. They explained everything about the cottage and the area. Glen, Ruby and Clayton were very helpful to give advice on things to do in the area, along with the tips on great beaches. The water was cold but the best beach was Bayswater. The entire week we had pretty good weather other than one day a bit chilly. The cottage is suitable for a couple. We were on the road during the day and enjoyed the nice deck for relaxing in the evening. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was very well situated for day trips. There were several good restaurants very nearby. The property is exactly as described. It is small but they have made excellent use of the space. The owners are very friendly and would be helpful if you needed it. We hope to return in a couple of years.

An excellent seaside stay

My wife and I had a very enjoyable and relaxing visit at Fox Point in Hubbards. The hosts were amazing and incredibly polite and accommodating. They treated us like family (if your family likes each other). The cottage was very clean and comfortable and we loved the great views and fortunately the weather was mostly nice as well. We rented some bikes and explored some of the local trails, which I highly recommend. They have a beautiful trail with amazing views!

Delightful. … but too short

Glen and Ruby were delightful and accommodating hosts. The weather wasn’t wonderful, and the mosquitoes were a wee bit challenging but the cottage was cozy, tastefully renoed and appointed and had most everything we needed … even for entertaining a couple of friends for dinner one night. Delightful spot! Thanks Glen and Ruby (and Clayton) ♥️

The owners and family are lovely people who also own the business on the same property. The cottage had all the amenities needed in the kitchen and the bed was very comfortable. There was a problem however with the T.V. and being able to receive only 1 channel and therefore having to watch Netflix etc using their profiles. It also would have been nice if they had informed us that construction on their waterfront would be going on most of the week waking us up one morning at 6:15 and also going on until 9 at night. We were gone most days as the surrounding areas are lovely with lots of places to visit. Hubbard's is definitely a great location.

This property was amazing. Beautiful view. The cottage was so quaint/clean and accommodated all our needs. The location couldn't have been better. Hubbards Cove rentals is on the same property and gave us a discount on their rentals. Ruby and Glenn's amiable personalities were the icing on the cake to make our vacation a grand adventure on land and sea!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay over looking Hubbards Cove. The view of the water was amazing! Sun rises were spectacular! Quiet spot and well equipped kitchen. Best comfortable bed ever! Location was a half hour from Halifax and 25 minutes to Chester in the other direction. We highly recommend it.

Cottage is bright and clean and perfect for two. We were able to explore the area including biking on the Rum Runner's Trail, hiking, beaches and visiting family. Although we enjoy Halifax, it was nice to relax in a quieter setting.

The cottage was clean and modern with all the necessities of living and more. We had bottled water at our disposal, a tub and shower to suit both mine and my husband's requirements. The front deck was huge and looking across at the ocean was so peaceful and serene. There is a barbecue to use for cooing outside and a large deck umbrella if it gets too hot in the sun. The landlord was most welcoming and hospitable and in spite of Hurricane Dorian going through the day before we arrived, everything was done to accommodate us when the power was out. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had light for night use. We loved our stay and plan on returning next year as well for a longer time. The next door neighbors are friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. It was just the type of holiday we were wanting to have with rest, relaxation, peace and quiet away from our busy and hectic lives.
