Well equipped.
Nice little welcome pack.
Lots of games, dvds, info leaflets with walks etc.
Not that I am a big user of the internet, but, it was EXTREMELY slow on both of our phones! However, it worked fine for streaming on the TV. It's not a problem, unless you intend on working whilst there (which we weren't).

personal touches and lovely welcome pack and lots of information on things to do during our stay. everything catered for and well thought out.
Not aware that it was a cottage flat with another flat above. it meant we had to be extra quiet, sound travels between floors.

Great accommodation in a fantastic location. Lovely food in the Cherry Pie Inn. Would definitely stay again.

Got cancelled twice due to covid, but host was great re-arranging. We enjoyed the view of the old mill and the gardens for dog walking and family activities. Nice little touches like little welcome set to DVDs and books for guest to feel at home. Loved the information provided.
The main issue for our stay was the noise, as you are on bottom floor and can hear every movement up stairs and can hear there TV.
The bed was not to our comfort but can't help that as everyone is different.
Paid roughly £75 a night but same time next year it's nearly doubled and more

We had a lovely week in the Hayloft- such a well equipped cottage. The hosts are fantastic and had thought of everything holidaymakers might need - even providing a food hamper so we didn’t need to go shopping for the basics when we arrived.
The location is brilliant - lots of lovely walks locally (Moel Famau and Loggerheads especially), but also close enough to visit the seaside and Chester Zoo. The grounds of the cottage are beautiful. The hosts live on site and were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing - it’s lovely.

We had a fabulous time. It's ideally situated for walks, pubs, shops etc. Did the Offa Dyke trail up to Moel Arthur which is just down the road. Liz was a fabulous host and offered advice for walks that we didn't know about, therefore avoiding the much more popular (and busy) Moel Famau. The cottage was beautiful and the gardens well-kept. Hope to go again soon. Thank you!
Nothing. Everything was perfect.
