Ideal accommodation and location for our extended family to gather.

The location was perfect! Within walking distance to town centre and amenities. Spectacular views! Quiet spaces inside and out for everyone. Well equipped.

Kitchen cupboards and drawers need a clean as does the range hood and top of the aircon unit. Some of the curtain tracks/pulls don’t work. We were surprised when the cleaner entered the house at 9:40am and began cleaning.

We had a pleasant stay but compared to other venues we stayed at it did not meet our expectations.

We liked the location and view. The size of the living areas. Main bathroom was great. Fabulous supply of books. Overall it was a suitable venue for large groups or families. It has potential to be a fabulous venue with a bit more attention to detail.

Many minor annoying issues that need to be addressed that would make the venue excellent. Old curtains dusty and some did not open that need to be fixed. The light in laundry didn’t work, sliding screen door to laundry very difficult to open. Old appliances that didn’t work eg. CD players. Kitchen kettle was full of scale and my husband had to clean it before it could be used!

it had amazing views to wake up to and was very roomy for the whole family to stay. beds were extremely comfortable too!

the bed sheets and pillow covers in the room with the bunk beds were not clean. there were dust and sand found.

Perfect spot for group of friends or large family holiday

A large well appointed house with good views, well located to the main centre of Albany. Very quickly we felt like we were 'home'. The fire was a bonus as the two nights we were there were cold

Its a large house so cleaning to a high standard is probably difficult but needs a little attention. Kitchen knives need sharpening.

The location and cleanliness of the of the house was fantastic. The outlook fro the kitchen windows over the sound were beautiful, especially when the storm hit. The house and particularly the beds were comfortable and spacious. Enough room for everyone to find a spot.

The collection of furniture was a little unusual, odd pieces here and there and showing signs of age.

Stunning old house but in lovely well kept condition with loads of character. Perfect location, just far enough from York street for walking etc.

It was a bit cold at night and maybe proper winter doonas on the beds would be nice.

The house was great! It was really well equipped, it was in a good area. We all had a lovely stay.

The location was easy to find. It was easy to get the keys. The house was clean and well presented. It was well equipped with everything we needed. There were plenty of beds and room for all of us, it was very relaxing. Nick called the day after our arrival to make sure everything was good which was really nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location. Friendliness and openness of the host. Plenty of different spaces for kids Vs adults to stay

General cleanliness could be better. Manageable however. Just brought our own items from store i.e detergents, floor cleaners etc

Fabulous !

Perfect location for our group - some shoppers, some tourists. Property had real character Communication with Nick was easy. 35+ years since I'd been in Albany - I'll be back !
