We ended up only being there one night, but our stables are very comfortable.

Wow, what an amazing property. So much better than getting a hotel room. The communication with Frank prior to arrival was great for accurate directions and any questions we might have. Then he meets you at check in to go over property and give recommendations. And he has some great advice! The roundette is perfectly appointed. We used the grill for steaks and cooked the fresh eggs that were given to us in the morning and had all the needed utensils. Hot tub on deck was amazing and very private even though there are other buildings on the property. But the property is the real star of the show here. Although you are only minutes from Asheville, you feel like you are tucked away on a small mountain farm. With the animals, koi pond, and lush landscaping you can tell a lot of hard work went in to making this place great. Thank you Frank and staff for a wonderful weekend, we will book again.

The stay was absolutely amazing. The roundette was better than expected. Location was close to town but far enough away to be able to escape reality. Would certainly stay here again.

Frank has such a beautiful property! His hard work and dedication to perfection can be seen throughout this property. The landscaping is gorgeous!!
The property itself is very pretty and clean! It smelled so good when we arrived. We enjoyed 6 nights here starting on July 3, 2024. The fresh eggs were a plus to an already lovely stay. There are grocery stores and multiple delicious restaurants nearby. Ask Frank for his recommendations!
We used this property as a point to get in and around Asheville. It is close to everything. We went to the Biltmore and did the Lake Lure tour. Both highly recommended. The only regret is that we didn't stay longer!
Highly recommended property!

My daughter and me had a great time during our stay there. My daughter especially enjoyed feeding the animals in the barn every day. The house is clean and with all we needs. The host is very nice to walk through the house and surrounding when we checked in. The location is also very convenient and near to a lot of tourist attractions, restaurants and grocery stores. We really love it!

We planned to stay here while we visited Asheville for a long weekend - and we ended up wishing we’d taken a few more days off just to stay at the accommodation! Beautiful views, a communicative host, and the koi pond made this one a great escape.

The round house was a perfect escape for our 30 year anniversary. The owner has thought of everything and created a beautiful space both inside and outside. Love the grounds with decades of quality landscaping and the privacy it afforded. So close to Asheville and yet remote and private. Thank you for everything!

The property was absolutely beautiful. The flowering plants were in full bloom and the setting was gorgeous. We felt like we had escaped to a quaint, mountain retreat. The owners were knowledgeable and provided great recommendations for places to visit and eat. A couple of highlights included the fresh eggs and a chance to see the horses, chickens, and goats. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful setting and a shorter drive to the city than the map suggests. Loved the animals and the outdoor spaces. All the amenities were perfect for a quiet couples getaway. We loved the hot tub and highly recommend booking a massage. Immaculate grocery store nearby for supplies. We loved every minute of our stay. Can't wait to come back and explore Asheville and the surrounding area more from this sweet little home away from home.

Staying at Frank's property was an absolute treat. Upon arrival he was very welcoming and told us all we needed to know about the location and gave us invaluable suggestions on places to go, etc. The property was beautiful, well-kept, and relaxing - we could not have asked for more. This is definitely a fantastic spot for animal lovers. The critters at their hobby farm were a delight to interact with and the eggs were delicious if you decide to stay in for breakfast! I would highly recommend this stay and would definitely book again.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy roundette. It’s close to Asheville but you feel tucked away in the country. Hot tub was piping hot which was great and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Nice cozy spot close to Asheville and trails. Loved feeding the animals on the property.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. Looking for mostly a place to hang out while we experienced Asheville, we were amazed at our time at the house. From staring at the stars in the hot tub each night to a massage inside our house one afternoon, our whole trip was so great.
We are already planning the next trip and will definitely be staying at the Cove at Fairview, if at all possible. They also have other rentals on the property that house more people so we can take the whole family.

I stayed in the Roundette cabin for 3 days in early August 2023, and wish I could have stayed longer! The property and area is so peaceful, with so much space between lodgings it felt like it was just me, the farm animals, the koi, and nature!
The cabin had every I needed to cook healthy meals, pack picnic lunches for my BRP drives each day, rest, relax, and reflect. Wifi was great; I had to log into work a few hours each day. Hot tub was much appreciated after hours in the car and walking the towns of Asheville, Weaverville, and Black Mountain (my favorite for eats at Open Oven and shopping!)
I was travelling to see Asheville for the first time in 20 years - what a vibrant, walkable town! Make it a point to stop at the visitor center first.
Frank made the entire VRBO experience seamless, from booking, to reminders, check in, and check out.
One day it rained until noon; I still enjoyed the hot tub, and went to the nearby BRP visitor center/HQ and then to the Folk Art Center. The NC Museum of Minerals was also an interesting stop.
Other little trips included a fabric store in Fletcher for quilting supplies; drum circle downtown on Friday night, and many photos I'll treasure of the BRP overlooks.
Grocery stores Food Lion and Ingles are just a few miles from the property, and still in Fairview. Make sure you fuel up well before getting on the BRP.
I would definitely book with Frank and his Inn at Fairview Cove property again!

This place was such a wonderful experience. Super convenient to everything Asheville has to offer and just far enough out to enjoy the quiet and beauty this property offers. Our daughter never wanted to leave the property and she was always ready to get to call it a day to see the animals. Frank and his family are amazing hosts.

My wife and I loved the house and the property. Unfortunately, it was raining our entire trip so we didn't explore much of the property but the animals were fun to feed. The house was exactly what the VRBO description says, although I do question if the bed is actually a queen. Outside of that, everything was great and Frank was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend the property.

Everything is just as pictured -- but it's really something how easy is it to walk to the nearby fence and feed some carrots to the horses, donkeys and goats. Also, really enjoyed meeting Frank and his written dining and activity recommendations for the nearby area were top-notch. It's really just about 20 min to get to Asheville, but you may find yourself sticking closer to this charming vacation home and the grounds with multiple chair swings and koi ponds. Every night ended in our hot tub under the stars -- no regrets!

The home was very nice and easy to find. Keeps you close to Asheville without being in the city. The property was beautiful and the animals were fun to watch. Frank was awesome upon arrival. He greeted us outside and filled us in on all the things we needed to know and made some great food recommendations. The stay was great. We will be back.

It was a great little house to stay in and overall private . They provide fresh eggs from their chickens and they were great! We loved the animals in the back yard as well . It’s only 15 mins from downtown Asheville and the nearby restaurants and brewery’s are great !

Loved how peaceful this little house was. Host doesn't typically offer self check in due to them feeling the need to give you an overview however they were very accommodating and made it happen. Everything that was sent in the overview text was available in the house printed out except how we were to get in the house. The overview really isn't needed as most people renting a vrbo should be and most likely are self efficient enough to read what was printed in the house about the animals, eggs, hot tub, ect.

This has been one of the absolute best VRBO experiences I’ve had. Talk about leaving no stone unturned! Frank is an amazing host and as he said “I’m not new to this I’m true to this” ( my interpretation.) He’s been in the rental game for nearly 20 years and is not new to the hospitality game. Some rent out a property for your stay, you pay, stay and that’s it- Frank and his team work hard to make sure your visit is an experience. I also appreciate how clean this property was. I’ll definitely will be back.

Even though it's cold grey winter, the property and area are beautiful. Property owner was great; extremely considerate, respectful, and helpful. We will definitely be back. Close to downtown Asheville but far enough out you can just disconnect from busy life.

What a gorgeous property! My husband and I stayed in Frank's roundette cabin for 4 days during our honeymoon and we did not want to leave. While the cabin was perfectly located just 15 minutes from Asheville, we actually didn't leave the property or the area very much during our stay because it was so beautiful. The cabin was comfortable, well-appointed, and felt extremely private, despite it's proximity to the other rental cabins. We loved spending time on our little patio with the view of Frank's hobby farm. The goats, donkeys, and horses were adorable and we enjoyed the fresh eggs from the chickens. We spent hours lounging in the hammocks by the koi pond, and took Frank's advice to view the stars from his hilltop outlook, which was breathtaking. We made good use of the fire pit almost nightly as well as the hot tub and gas grill. We also really loved the area, with breweries within a few minutes of the cabin, a Food Lion close by, and, our favorite, the Troyer Amish store, where we got the best sandwiches of our lives. We also took Frank up on his offer to arrange a horseback ride, which was a great experience. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful property. Thank you for everything!

The property is a gem, hidden away in the beautiful mountains, just 15-20 minutes outside of Asheville. This small and cozy property was perfect for my husband and I, and had all the amenities you could possibly need! Between soaking in the hot tub while looking at the stars, and enjoying fresh eggs from the chickens on the property, our experience was so delightful! We are definitely looking forward to our next stay at Fairview Cove!

The roundette was great for two people and a very clean space. Loved being able to walk outside and see all their animals every morning. Hot tub was nice and clean and the neighborhood was extremely quiet to the point that I was convinced there was no one else around. Defintely would stay here again.

Beautiful Property and Caring Responsive Owner
Our stay at the Roundette was wonderful. The property is beautiful and we loved seeing and feeding the horses, goats, and burros. Frank was a fantastic host, and made sure several times that we had everything we needed, and even offered us a later check out time if we needed. We would definitely stay at the property again in the future.
