House is clean, modern and well stocked. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms look brand new. It was nice to get a visit from a pack of Capuchin monkeys one night too!!
Only disappointing things was the pool is a little cold in the rainy season so we couldn’t use it as as much as we expected.

We got there a day after we had scheduled due to a late flight in San Jose. Property owners were welcoming and answered many questions. It was our first trip to Costa Rica. Our villa was a picture post card with a visit from wildlife like white faced monkeys. It was quiet and near everything we needed. A steep drive up the hill to our unit. If are diving from San Jose as we did and you use google maps make sure it directs you west to Highway 34/27. Ours took us directly south out of the city resulting in unnecessary primitive roadways and left and right curves with speedbumps all the way down. Coming back with the correct directions cut 2 hours off our driving time

My husband and I, both in our 70's, really enjoyed this Villa. It had a great view of the jungle, was quiet and comfortable, and the pool was perfect. We saw wildlife every day. The driveway to the place is steep, but we used taxis the whole time, and they all made it up.
We also loved being so close to town. We walked there a couple times, but took a taxi back. Quepos has lots of little shops with gifts, and is less expensive than Manuel Antonio. They also have great food, especially at the marina. We love the wow-wow shrimp and the fresh scallops at Gabriellas.

House is perfect for (2) adult couples or a small family. Property was as advertised. Staff is super responsive, friendly and really strive to go above and beyond. Location was also good. Be sure to do yourself a favor and hire the chef at some point, you won't be disappointed.

This property has it all: seclusion but walking distance to downtown Quepos, a modern kitchen adjoining a comfortable family room, 3 double sliding doors that opens up the kitchen and 2 bedrooms to the private pool, and monkeys in the nearby trees! The best Vrbo we have stayed at by far.

Beautiful location!
Gorgeous property in a gated community within walking distance to Quepos and short drive to Manuel Antonio. Dorit and Andres are over the top helpful hosts and were always available even during a late night mishap. Cool waterfall within a short but steep hike. Monkeys and birds including macaws were onsite. Recommended! Thanks again 🙏

Aracari peace
Loved this property. Even nicer that the pictures show.
We saw monkeys in the mornings and evening in the trees every day.
Enjoyed the peacefulness of this place.
Location was great and close proximity to Manuel Antonio National Park and many other great places.
The only thing that was a bit hard was the steep driveway. Otherwise, the place was perfect for us.

A dream came true
As soon as I saw the property on vrbo I fell in love with it. Me and my sweet little family enjoyed the villa so much, especially the pool and the wildlife. The first morning there an iguana joined us for breakfast at pool side ❤️. Everything was super clean and registration was a breeze. Employees were helpful kind and curtious. On the last morning we were visited by white faced monkeys and a howler monkey. The kitchen had all utensils for cooking.

Exactly as described!
We needed a 3 day break and this property was perfect. We balance time lounging by the private pool, taking hikes right from the front door and enjoying various elements of Manuel Antonio, all nearby. We would definitely return here.

Lovely refuge
We loved our time at Manuel Antonio Estates in the Aracari Villa. The pool is beautiful, and lovely day and night. I enjoyed swimming when I came back hot from our adventures. It might feel a little cool to some who expect a heated pool, but I found it refreshing.
The house is well appointed, and my bed was very comfortable. All the necessary kitchen items are there. My only gentle suggestion for Manuel Antonio is to replace the white towels; they are old and one tore as I was drying off. The shower hardware is also a little loose. But these are minor problems! We loved the location, so convenient between the town and the park, and the house is so comfortable. The steep drive is a little intimidating at first approach, but no problem really. Thank you, Dorit and Andreas!

Getaway Paradise
This was the best purchase we couldve made. Richard and the team had the house immaculate for when we arrived. The house itself was beautiful, clean, and they even accomodated for special requests made on my end. We were lucky enough to have about 12-13 monkeys come to our back yard one day and it was a blissful experience. The team help us put together our tours and every tour picked us up from the door of the house. Amazing.

Paradise in Manuel Antonio/Quepos
This home surpassed our expectations in every way. The hosts, Dorit and Andre, were exceptionally helpful and ALWAYS available or checking on us. In fact, during our 11 day stay, they had house cleaning clean the home once, pool cleaned once, television technician to see if Apple TV could be activated, and technicians to repair washer machine, which they did in an afternoon. Everything was taken care if quickly amd efficiently. The pool was beyond amazing. We found the cool temperature to be refreshing after hikes, surfing or rafting adventures, and just plain relaxing in the evenings. As others have noted, there was wildlife sightings everyday st the home. Large bands of white-faced capuchin monkeys visited us three or four afternoons around 3 pm, when it got a little cooler. We also had two iguanas who appear to live at the house and sun themselves in the Aracari driveway. We also had several hummingbirds, geckos and even a brown vine snake outside our front door a few nights. The house stayed cool and we had no trouble with condensation as we followed Dorit amd Andre’s recommendation to always shut off AC when we were not at home, and kept the overhead fans and bathroom fans on continuously to maintain airflow in the home. The portable humidifier made a huge difference and we emptied the water out about twice a day. The kitchen was so easy to use. We loved having the blender to make fruit smoothies every morning (and the lovely gift of fresh fruit from the hosts - a papaya, passion fruit, a pineapple, and bananas were a much welcomed surprise!) Quepos is a wonderful Tico town, much less touristy than Manuel Antonio and so easy to get around and Soda Sanchez, just down the hill, makes amazing cerco he and casado plates! We just can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here!! We will definitely be back!!

Great Location close to Manuel Antonio
Great location close to Manuel Antonio. Overall stay was good. One major negative was that the apartment smelt a bit damp and moldy. There is also a charge for additional guest here.

Amazing Service, Cold Pool
Without a doubt the best thing about this property is the service and help we received from Dorit and Sarah. They were amazing and on top of every issue, request we had. The listing for this property was pretty accurate, but I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews.
My biggest complaint is that the pool was super cold, and you're overlooked by at least 4 other houses. They have a clear view of the pool, so if you're looking for some privacy outside, this might not be your best choice. The pool temperature kept both me and my boyfriend from going in the water several times. We both tried many times, but just gave up because of the temperatures. For the size of the property, the pool is big and surrounded by trees. That is wonderful, but it means that sun rarely gets to the pool to heat the water. If this company had a way to heat the pool, I would have loved this place far more than I did.
They did deliver on Monkeys and wildlife though. We saw howlers, squirrel and white face monkeys all around the property. And one day we saw scarlet macaws flying directly overhead. That was by far the best part of this house (along with Dorit and Sarah).
I thought the inside was very nice, and clean. My boyfriend thought that the bed was just ok though. He found it to be a bit uncomfortable. I thought it was ok. I did enjoy sitting outside and watching the wildlife. I just thought it was too bad that we could do that from in the pool.

Loved everything about this place, from the refreshing pool to the clean, bright well equipped rooms and kitchen. Sarah, our concierge and the rest of the staff was great. Played with the monkeys, watched the toucans and even got to see a sloth. We’ll definitely be back.

Christmas in Quepos
This property is a cute space surrounded by trees and monkeys. It is very spacious and was the perfect accommodation for the 4 of us. But get ready to walk up some steep hills to get to it. It is very humid in Costa Rica and there was air conditioning in the house, but still had that musty smell. there was one dehumidifier in our room which helped, but we had to empty it every day. The pool was a nice touch, but the water was very cold. Quepos is a little more rustic than Manuel Antonio and we found we were often taking the bus of a cab to Manuel Antonio for the beach and dinners. Manuel Antonio is not far, so it was pretty easy to get there and it is quieter in Quepos. Sarah helped us book some great tours. There were some communication troubles and we had a couple days where we couldn't get a hold of her to answer questions. I would suggest some more information about how to get a cab (when the guard is not at the gate) and the checkout procedure in the house.

Beautiful and comfortable rental
We loved our stay at Casa Aracari in Quepos. The house was beautiful and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool too. Just a short bus ride away from Manuel Antonio and a quick walk from Quepos the location was perfect. We enjoyed the full kitchen and took advantage of it to save us money on meal costs. We would gladly stay here again.

A relaxing, luxurious stay in Manuel Antonio
We had such a relaxing stay in Manuel Antonio Estates at Villa Aracari. The photos on the listing are exactly what you get. There's plenty of sun on the pool deck if you want it, but also lots of shade when you need some relief. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we were close to a grocery store when we needed supplies. The memory foam king-sized mattresses were SO comfortable. Each day we saw monkeys overhead, feeding on the fruits of the trees, and a few mornings saw a pair of toucans. My wife was also lucky enough to spot a pair of scarlet macaws and I had the pleasure of getting up close to a stick insect that was about 10 inches long. So sool!
Prior to our trip, Dorit and Angie made arrangements for a few activities with local tour companies, and they were all fantastic. They were also so friendly and available during our stay. They arranged for taxis, made recommendations for great restaurants, and a pizza place that delivered right to our door!
We'd definitely recommend staying here. If we ever come back with a larger group, we'll check into the larger villas at Manuel Antonio Estates.

Lovely home just outside Quepos
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was just perfect. So quiet, so clean, the manager was very helpful, and it was such a perfect size for our family. We cooked in a bit and everything we needed was here. The pool and deck were used a lot. Lots of shade, and the pool was refreshing! Toucans and monkeys in the trees were so great, too!

Fantastic stay our family loved it
Love the property. The location is amazing with jungle around. Every morning we sat outside and looked at what we called the TV show. We would see something different every morning from parents to monkeys. The property has two conciergeServices and they are excellent. Maday was attentive and amazing Dorit Arrange tours for us prior to us visiting them. I highly recommend this beautiful property

Loved our stay!
This villa is exactly what it looks like in the pictures. it was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 teenage teens. The house was cozy, clean, and had all the kitchen essentials needed. the pool was amazing and the view to wake up to in the morning was fantastic. The bedrooms had AC units there is a full functioning washer/dryer. The management staff was amazing. They helped organize our activities and the activities did not disappoint. We went surfing in the pacific ocean, waterfall repelling with a hike through the rainforest which was like walking through a jurrasic park jungle and ziplining. They also helped get taxi's, make restaurant reservations, and set us up with a personal chef for a couple days (who's food was amazing!).

Beautiful home and close to so much!
This home was beautiful and perfect for our time in Manuel Antonio. We were excited to wake up to monkeys in the trees each morning, swim in the private beautiful pool and relax outside. The house is fully stocked with everything you need. Dorit was so helpful in recommending and reserving reservations at local restaurants, booking my spa appointment and making sure we were enjoying our stay. I highly recommend this property!

This place is fantastic! It is very modern with Apple TV, high tech stove and a larger washer and dryer. It is close to downtown Quepos and a quick drive to Manuel Antonio. Everyone at Manuel Antonio estates was so helpful. Loved seeing monkeys jumping in the trees in the evening. The outdoor showers were great after a day at the beach. Will definitely stay here again.

Exceptional location, accomodations and service!
My family, including my husband and two children, ages 7 and 9, stayed for eight nights in this lovely home in the middle of the rainforest. The house was clean; the beds were super comfy; the pool was perfect for relaxing in after our morning excursions; and the staff were exceptionally courteous! During our stay we were visited by Capuchin Monkeys, a pretty little green dart frog and a few toucans - all right in the trees next to the house. The monkeys and toucans especially liked the papaya trees. Maday and Dorit arranged all of our activities and were very responsive to the couple of needs we had while at the house. They even ordered and delivered a cake for my son's birthday during our stay. We highly recommend Manuel Antonio Estates and hope to visit again soon!

Private rainforest retreat
We stayed at Villa Aracari in Manuel Antonio Estate for 8 days. The house is very modern and comfortable inside. The mattresses were excellent - I wish I had them at home! The air conditioners worked well and the kitchen had everything we needed. We saw monkeys, a huge iguana and a pair of scarlet macaws from the villa! The staff at Manuel Antonio Estate were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions or problems we had. My only recommendations would be 1) the cleaning staff should mop the patio/pool deck every day or two because of the regular raccoon visits; 2) guests should be careful on the stairs of the pool - the tiles on the edges of the stairs are sharp in some places (my son cut his foot); 3) the pool should be heated. We enjoyed our stay at Aracari very much - it was the perfect place to come home to after a day of exploring the area.

Any day that you get to watch monkeys while floating in your own private pool, is a good day. Every day was a good day (or excellent day, really) at this property.
We stayed 4 nights and I could have stayed for a week. Every morning we woke up, went for a quick swim, headed out for an AM adventure, returned for lunch followed by pool time watching monkeys (squirrel, Capuchin or howler), the sloth, lizards, a household gecko and a shy raccoon. With this location there's no need to go out for any more afternoon adventures. Then, to one of the lovely nearby restaurants (Ronny's Place became a fast favorite) for dinner, followed by drinks back poolside again and maybe a quick nighttime dip under the stars (which is really something special).
The staff were wonderful (the air mattresses for the pool were a god-send), the security seemed very good (though we didn't have any concerns), and the drive to the park was only about 10 minutes. Other activities were easily within 15 minutes. Really glad we decided to stay here as it truly had the "jungle" feel we were looking for - some of the other beach towns would have been disappointing for this reason. A note about the driveway - if you've driven Seattle or San Francisco streets you'll be fine. Otherwise, you may be a bit nervous, but it's completely doable.
Cons: The home is not all that remote, but they do a great job of making it feel like it is. There were some ants (clean up after yourself and it's fine), probably pretty typical for a jungle atmosphere.
This property may have been the single most wonderful part of our trip. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants comfort while feeling like they are immersed in nature.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Aracari and we will be back!! We were in town for a wedding and friends were staying at a nearby luxury resort. Casa Aracari offered us a private pool, private (fully equipped) kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms at a much lower cost than the luxury resort. The location was perfect for us - it's a quiet, gated community with controlled access, private pool, lovely rainforest setting, on site spa - and near enough to Manuel Antonio to enjoy the beaches, restaurants and tourist sites. I felt very safe at Manuel Antonio Estates and the management team was wonderful! Elias was friendly and helpful - even staying late to welcome us. Dorit helped arrange wonderful excursions for our family, as well as transportation from San Jose for a friend. Each interaction with the management team (and the companies they recommended) exceeded my expectations. They freely shared their fantastic contacts and knowledge about the area. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures - it is nicely appointed - and we were very comfortable. I was able to cook full family dinners in the kitchen and had everything I needed. The A/C was wonderful after a day of sight seeing. The kids could take a dip in the pool while I cooked and chatted with them and watched them through the sliding glass door. The daily maid service was great - keeping everything clean and tidy. The last evening we spent time enjoying the beautiful private pool, watching toucans fly by, we saw a sloth and her baby in a nearby tree, as well as about 15 spider monkeys. We saw almost as much sitting at our pool as we did walking through the rainforest! We took some amazing photos and have wonderful memories of "our" vacation home in Costa Rica! I also highly recommend a trip to the Raindrop Spa - on site. My friend and I both had the BEST massages of our lives at an incredibly reasonable price. I highly recommend Casa Aracari. It is a great value and was a great experience for us!

Three friends and I stayed here at this beautiful Manuel Antonio Estates for 7 nights. It's was an amazing setting in the heart of the jungle. We even had a huge Sloth buddy watching over us, they are the coolest animals. It's was hot outside and cool inside and anytime you got too hot I was in the pool. This place is a hit and I can't wait to go back next year. The people and the services were top notch. Thanks
