Had a fabulous time at the hotel. Staff were amazing- felt well looked after and a genuine warmth and good hospitality from the team.
We stayed for two nights and made the most of the facilities. Loved the adult only pool and seeing so many animals and birds in the grounds (saw sloths, monkeys and more!)
Really appreciated the shuttle bus to Manuel Antonio park too- that was really handy

Stay was great but my only suggestion is please let the tab at the pool stay open it’s annoying to close out several times when you’re eating.

This resort was amazing!!!! Our room, the staff and service, the food, and overall experience was wonderful. We booked all our excursions and transportation to and from the airport through the hotel and everything was perfect. Highly recommend this beautiful resort to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

First, I would like to say that I have been here four times and will continue to come. I don’t ever do this with any other hotel. This hotel is perfect for the following reasons:
1. The architecture of the interior and exterior is rustic style and very pleasing. It feel like you are staying in a Spanish mansion…..yes, a home, it has that feeling to it.
2. The food is incredible. In my opinion, the lunch and dinner have Michelin star quality. I have eaten at Michelin star restaurants all over the world and can say this hotel deserves one.
I am a fisherman and come for tournaments or short getaways. The Parador freezes my fish for me and also prepares amazing dishes with my fish for dinner. Rodrigo, the master chef, studied in Barcelona, and is a true world class chef. He creates a plethora of dishes from my fish that is world class. Very impressive.
3. The service is first class. They don’t make a big deal about little things and make you feel like royalty. You always feel important.
4. There is a beautiful private beach walking distance from the hotel. Very eclectic and peaceful. Refreshing water and great service from the locals.
Final thanks to all the Parador staff who were very professional. Thank you Rodrigo, Mar, and Randall and anyone else whose name I did not get!

Just came back from a 10-day stay at the Parador Hotel. Aside from occasional wi-fi connection issues, everything else was absolutely perfect. The hotel is beautiful and well-kept, the nature and the views are breathtaking, the staff is super professional and helpful and there’s plenty of wildlife to be seen directly from the hotel (much more than we’ve seen during the $$$ guided national park tour). There’s also a free hotel shuttle bus to Manuel Antonio that runs from 9am to 5pm. Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend to anyone.

This resort was amazing in every way. Tons of animals and nature on the property, we saw more sloths, monkeys, iguanas, birds, etc here than anywhere else we went. Very kind staff, great restaurants with vegetarian options. Pools were great. Very kid friendly. We will be back.

Property had great views and was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Our only issue was that the morning that we checked out our water was turned off due to a plumbing leak but we were compensated fairly with a discount on our bill. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful views, friendly staff, great free breakfast, lots of monkeys, saw a sloth and macaws, good parking. Room was a tad small for 4, but we made it work and was worth it for the balcony views.

Beautiful resort. Great for families with kids.
Great pools and the kids can spot lots of animals around the property.

The customer service was amazing! We celebrated our daughter’s 4th birthday with them. The resort made it very special for her by having a special cupcake made for with her name and placed on our bed for when she got back to the room. They were able to bake her a cake that they served with the delicious dinner that was served. Edwin went above and beyond to help our family and introduced our kids to the resident Iguana (Pedro)!! Would recommend this place to anyone.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The staff is amazing. Highly, highly recommend!

The property itself is beautiful. However, getting to most restaurants, the national park, or other places in town outside the property requires a car, taxi or use of the resort shuttle. The staff was incredibly helpful though in arranging for taxis or using the hotel shuttle to drop us off at restaurants on the way to their scheduled stops at the national park.

This is an amazing property with a terrific staff. My wife and I had a wonderful time. When we checked in there was a sloth and a macaw right outside our room. We really enjoyed the monkeys. I give them a 10/10. Only negative would be the beach that is within taking distance of the resort. It's a long treacherous walk down a rocky slippery hill where you are eventually met by a couple of unfriendly locals trying to rent you a chair, in our case for $20. We declined. There is sand on the beach but as soon as you hit water it's nothing but rocks, rocks, rocks. Water was great though! Don't let this part deter you, just have them shuttle you to the main beach at Manuel Antonio!

Be aware!
Although this property was beautiful, it doesn't make up for the stress and anxiety I've been going through since I stayed here in April. I reached out to management regarding my situation and how they handled it was beyond disappointing. They downplayed my situation and deflected instead of taking responsibility. People travel from all over the world here and it is common for them to be at hotels. Bed bugs bites effect everyone differently and some people get a reaction, while others don't get any. Sometimes it can take days up to a week for the bumps to show up on your skin. I unfortunately got a reaction. On the last night I was here I slept in shorts and this is where they attacked me all over my body. This was the only hotel my family and I stayed at on our trip and I was the unfortunate one to get a bad reaction. I checked our suitcases and did though cleaning to make sure we didn't have any travel back with us. I suffered from severe itchiness, hyperpigmentation and scaring. I have to wear long pants, and apply creams that I have to pay out of pocket for. I have pictures of the bed bug bites all over my body. Please be careful and inspect your hotel room. I don't want any one else to go through what I'm going through!!

The staff was incredibly friendly and kind. The cleaning staff left my girls extra chocolates, made swans on the bed for my 7 yo, showed us sloths, and found us a private boat to go on that would fit my whole family. The free breakfast had a huge variety of things to choose from and was delicious. Everything about this place was amazing.
