It was a great location and such a fun house! We will never forget our mini vacay in Santa Cruz!

Lovely historic home near everything but far enough to enjoy a quiet neighborhood. The kids were convinced the house is haunted but if there are any spirits, they are super kind. Wonderful holiday. Thank you!

What a perfect place to gather our graduate, silblings and their partners for our daughters UCSC graduation weekend! Close to the beach, to town and what a gorgeous Victorian home! Vicky - the property manager - was communicative and helpful. We loved this place!

We very much enjoyed our stay - the house was very comfortable, accurately met the online description, and was walkable to downtown and the Boardwalk/beach area. Hoping to stay here again!

Beautiful historic home close to the beach. We had such a great time. The house was perfect for our family. The owner was lovely and helped us with a couple of things we needed. I would highly recommend this home.

Charm and lots of it! My family was impressed how well kept the landmark property was. Rooms were super clean and we were greeted with touches of details here and there. All 6 of us had wonderful things to say about our stay. Thank you for making it a great stay Nicole.

Wonderful house with modern amenities close to boardwalk and restaurants of the wharf. Great communication with owner. Ants present in the kitchen, but the property owner seemed to be right on top of the issue. So I only write this in case it continues in future write-ups as a warning, but I doubt that will be the case, based on the timely responsiveness of the owner.
Overall wonderful stay and therefore 5-star rating.

The house is just like it stated on the VRBO, it is a classic Victorian with vaulted ceilings, very comfortable, cozy, fantastic location, definitely worth the trip. Owner is very responsive to messaging.

First, the listing pictures do not do this gem of a property justice! Just gorgeous!
Second, this was one of the most well equipped rentals I've ever stayed it. It has everything you need
Third, location!!! So close to the beach and w parking. What a perfect spot for a family vacation.
Lately, Nicole, the host, is super responsive and accommodating.

In a word, wonderful. The house is spectacular, if you have an appreciation for craftsmanship, beautiful casework, and a Victorian with incredible charm, this is a place to visit. Walking distance to the beach, and outfitted beach chairs and Boogie Boards it’s a great location for anyone wishing for a true Santa Cruz experience. Communication prior to and during our stay was great, and the house was very well appointed. As we were celebrating our daughters wedding the weekend of our stay, it was a fabulous place to call home for the long celebratory weekend. Highly recommended destination, and a wonderful host.

This was one of the most beautiful houses I have ever rented. It was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. It was decorated in the height of Victorian fashion and I felt transported in time! The rooms are all very comfortable and worked fine for my group of 7 middle-aged folks. The kitchen had all the gear we needed and then some! The location cannot be beat! Five minutes down hill to the beach, the Boardwalk, and the municipal wharf. Ten to fifteen minutes down hill in the other direction and we were in downtown Santa Cruz. This was my best ever birthday house. Thank you to Nicole for being so kind and responsive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four day trip to Santa Cruz with this lovely, spacious home as our base. Communication with the host all along, before and during out stay, was excellent - super responsive and helpful. Location is perfect, a short walk from the beach, boardwalk and pier, and short drive from Trader Joes, CVS, Pavilions, etc ... everything you need is minutes away. Our family of 6 especially appreciated the abundance of space in which to spread out, which was made all the better by the high ceilings, abundant light and flowing layout. It being January AND the week of one of the biggest winter storms in recent years, we did find it rather cold in the house which relies on a gas wall furnace in the main space for heating, plus a space heater that you can move around, but that did not detract from a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a beautiful and historic home that comes highly recommended. Thank you!!

Our extended family of 8 spent our first Christmas together in years in this fun, historic Victorian. Walks to the beach, trips to the boardwalk and hikes together were just what we needed. The host was extremely responsive, rooms were clean and BONUS, everything was decorated for Christmas!

The house has an excellent layout for a family or group. The kitchen is large and has plenty of space for a group to cook. The dinning room is close by and equally spacious. After dinner retire to the living room and enjoy a relaxing evening of storytelling or board gaming. The house is clean, well stocked and sorted. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at Nicole's beautiful and comfortable Victorian home. The location on the 2nd floor is just a few minutes walk to the beach, wharf, and restaurants. The roses on the property are gorgeous. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the check in and out was easy.

We absolutely loved this property. Usually we stay at the Dream Inn when coming to SC but wanted a place where the whole family could stay together. We are so happy we found this place. It was so much better!!! It was clean, kept up, had ALL the amenities. My 3 boys loves exploring all the added touches in the house. We will absolutely stay here again. We could not have asked for anything more!

Beautiful Victorian
The house has so much character yet comfortable for today's living. We loved the woodwork and antique furniture. There was enough seating for all eight of us for meals and TV watching. Enjoyed the TVs in the bedrooms too. Very short walk to the beach/wharf. The uphill walk back was a little too much for my 80 year old parents...but they did it! It was so easy to ask questions of the owners. They got right back to me with the answers I needed. Very nice to have 3 parking spaces! My family had a wonderful time!

We enjoyed every aspect of this historical house. It had something for everyone in my family. My mom LOVES Victorian homes and it was a dream for her to stay in this particular one. It had such great character, while also being clean. The kids loved the hidden passage and their room. It was easy to cook in the kitchen and access everything we needed for our vacation. It was relaxing and the perfect location. We even tried to stay an extra day. Our family cannot wait to return to this oasis.

My family and I had a blast at this location - our 8-year-old loved exploring all of the nooks and crannies, especially the secret passage! Strikes a perfect balance with modern conveniences integrated into the original Victorian framework. Super close to the beach and other fun spots. Thanks Nicole for making this a great stay for our family!

I stayed here during winter break with some family. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! There was ample parking, everything was clean, and Nicole is lovely to communicate with. She answered all questions within mins and was very gracious with us. I would love to stay here again. It's very close to the beach and boardwalk! The house itself is so cool and it is decorated in Victorian style. I was a little worried about how comfy the murphy beds would be, but they were both great! And there was plenty of pillows and blankets. The one minor issue we had was that it was very cold in the house, but Nicole had a space heater for us, so that helped a bit. Other then that, perfect!
