Perfect location and perfect home for a mini family vacation. Once at the house and in the house, it's better than described on the website. You cannot, though, really see the ocean but it is a quick 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the nearest beaches (Twin Lakes and Seabright).
The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and utensils.
This house easily seats 15 people inside (this includes 3 bar stools at the stove) with an outdoor table, including umbrella.
I am already looking at booking this same house next year, around the same time.

this home was very clean and had great common areas for our family get together. viewing the egret and heron nests in the trees across the harbor was a plus. We loved the location and easy walking access to the harbor restaurants. We would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Mello Lane. We were two families with 4 adults, 3 kids (ages 4, 6, and 7) and found it to be light, bright, and in a great location. The kids loved the bunk room and the adults all loved the hot tub overlooking the harbor and the spacious kitchen. Would recommend!

We love staying here and continue to be repeat guests. The house is gorgeous, has a wonderful vacation vibe, and beautiful views of the harbor and nature. Fantastic patio and backyard with lots of birds. Fantastic beach and walking trails from the house (no car needed). Owner is fantastic with communication and all! This is a true gem. This beautiful harbor home was a perfect getaway for our family — 3 adult couple shared the home easily. Spacious and cozy at the same time. Hot tub, gas fireplace, 2 decks, harbor view, great kitchen. We spent a lot of time just enjoying this beautiful home.

Our family have stayed in this beautiful home several times now. We always enjoy our stay there. It’s tucked in a quiet neighborhood and has ample parking, which is rear in Santa Cruz/Capitola. The home is equipped with everything we need to cook a nice dinner and plenty of space for two families. Extra bonus is the jacuzzi in the back yard that over looks the water. After a long day playing at the beach, relaxing in the hot tub is best! All in all, we always enjoy our stay and feels as though it’s our home away from home. Thank you, Jason for sharing your lovely home.

We had a great stay! The house was much bigger then the pictures make it seem, it was fantastic! The view is stunning! It is a little bit older house but the layout was great for us. Everything was well stocked.

This is the second time i have stayed in this home with my two adult sons and their families. We love the style of the home and especially love the patio and the view and lights at night from the boats below. There is a large dinning room table that can seat 8 people, which means we can all sit together. The upstairs has a separate area away from bathroom and shower for doing hair and makeup, which is so convenient. The home is well equipped with TVs and fire stick for many Chanel options. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to work in. The location is walking distance to several restaurants and a very short drive to Santa Cruz and Capitola. The home meets all the needs of adults and teenagers! We will definitely rent this home again.

Great spot to stay away from crowds, enjoy the harbor yet easy access to other parts of Santa Cruz. Living Room and kitchen are bigger than they look in the picture. Super relaxing place. We were there for my son's wedding at Hollins house so this was the perfect spot. Not too far and not too close. The house is very well equipped. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the other amenities

My family joined together for 3 days in Santa Cruz. The home was immaculate when we arrived. This updated home had every amenity that a visitor could ask for. In addition, its location overlooking the harbor was very serene and peaceful. There is even a stairway down to the harbor and a 15 minute walk to a beautiful beach. Jason, the property manager replied instantly to any questions we had. All in all, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful home at the end of a quiet street with access to restaurants, stores and all that Santa Cruz has to offer.

We absolutely enjoyed the beauty, quietness and location of this large and lovely home! It had all the amenities we could ask for as well as the views, from both decks, that made our wine and food taste even better!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here this past weekend. It's just as awesome as what's shown in the pictures. The property was very clean and the furniture was super comfortable. Jason (the host) has clearly put a ton of thought and consideration into the guest experience, with the location of everything clearly labeled (extra towels, appliances, instructions for working various things), mounted hand sanitizer dispensers, beach equipment, streaming devices set up for each TV in the bedroom, etc. The backyard patio area has a spectacular view of the nearby harbor and feels very private/peaceful (the neighborhood, in general, is very nice and quiet). Our 4-year old son had the time of his life exploring the large house and enjoying the bunk bed setup in the kid-friendly room (the older TV with built in DVD player was a nice touch, there are a bunch of discs for kids and adults provided). Jason was extremely responsive and friendly, and even after we checked out and I realized I left an electronic device behind he's been super helpful in making sure it's mailed back to me. We would definitely stay here agajn!
