Our second time staying here, brilliant location in the centre of the village. The room was very clean and tidy. Plenty of space for 2 people. Lovely gift of eggs from the host.

Pretty self contained accommodation with a lovely private garden. Has everything you need. Comfortable, homely, central location. Easy walk to Porlock marsh, quick bus trip to Porlock Weir. Very handy for the open top bus to Lynmouth. Lots of pubs and coffee shops. One pub has Romantic poet connections.
Lovely host.
There are no negatives

My son and I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas. The location is great, right in the centre of Porlock. It was very clean and well equipped - the plastic box for walking boots made things much easier. Homemade brownies were a nice touch. Communication was excellent and the host was exceptionally helpful. We would stay again.
I feel the cold, so could have done with an extra blanket for the first night. Having said that, my son was fine. And I'm sure the host would have provided one if I had asked.

Very pleasant host. Lovely cakes available on arrival and milk in fridge
Great position for looking round North Exmoor
Would hope to be back

This studio was the perfect place to stay. Everything was immaculate and spotlessly clean. Had absolutely Everything you need for a stay. Porlock village is so lovely and everyone is very friendly. Lots of lovely walks with our dog. Minehead only 15 minutes away. Lynmouth and Lynton about 30 minutes. Sally was the perfect host, very friendly and there was a homemade cake waiting for us when we arrived, along with a jar of whortleberry jam, delicious 😋. Cant wait to return to this wonderful place.
That we couldn't stay longer

Fantastic Studio, in a really quiet spot, every thing was spotlessly clean, bed was really comfortable, shower was fantastic, could not ask for anything more, the location is fabulous, nice contained garden were we could leave our dog out.
Sally was a fabulous host, near enough if any thing went wrong,
making us cake and leaving us tin of shortbread and milk for our arrival, will definitely return in the future

Sally was so helpful. We arrived late with her agreement and she had lit the garden and studio with fairy lights, a lovely welcome. And also left us a homemade cake and the local
Jam. Such a personal touch.
The studio apartment had all we need, and it was lovely and quiet despite being central to porlock. There is also a private garden and little seating area

Lovely host and very nice touches left for us on arrival: a homemade cake, a couple of dog treats etc.
Good size studio flat with everything we needed. We really enjoyed it (including the dog).

Liked: Location - peaceful and quiet in central Porlock.
Garden Coutyard.
Property owner nearby to sort out any problems - if needed.
Well laid out studio comprehensively fitted out with all the essentials.
Nothing.

THE LADY OWNER GREETED US WITH CAKES AND keys. Coffee, tea and sugar available in cupboards on arrival. Very friendly greeting. Studio was clean and neat and recently decorated - all in good order and working well. The studio is quite centrally located, but off the main road, so pretty quiet and you can reach anywhere in the village on foot within about 5 minutes.
Only ventilation to bathroom was extraction fan, which seemed a little weak. This caused rather damp floors in the bathroom after the shower was used, but this was not a problem. Otherwise all good. No control over heating, though, so coolish after about 9 at night

The studio, contact with host and location were exceptional and could not be faulted. Looking forward to going back.
