Good location and comfortable cape cod feel

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Frank and Adriana’s home. Everything was clean and we had just what we needed. Having only one bathroom upstairs was tough at times but overall the house had plenty of space for our family of 4. The location of the house was so close to everything which was a huge plus. Frank and Adriana were also very communicative and always responded to our questions quickly. Highly recommend this property!

Very convenient location to Hyannis and various beaches

Clean, organized and almost everything was perfect!
The outdoor shower did not work and was difficult to clean up after beach time.
Tub(indoor) shower handles are really hard to work. I think a simple touch of lubricant would help. At first I didn’t think it would work at all. I only tell you since with the hospitality business if you don’t squawk items they may not get fixed for the next guest.
Thank you to the owner-and we had fantastic weather too!

4 adults stayed here and there was plenty of room for all of us. The bathroom was upstairs which may be inconvenient for some since one of the bedrooms was downstairs, but we had no issues with it. Being from Oklahoma we were surprised there was no a/c, only heat. Luckily the weather was beautiful while we were there and we did not need to ask for the window units to be installed. The area seemed safe, the neighbors were helpful. We were walking distance to the marina. We would stay again.

Lewis Bay Getaway truly felt like home with every amenity we could want or need. The location near the harbor was convenient and we enjoyed several restaurants close by. Tugboats, Spanky’s and Baxter’s were all great. Our family loved this cozy and clean property…it was the perfect size for our family of 4.

The house was perfect for my family of 4 plus family dogs. You can walk to Hyannis and also a local beach at the end of the main street where you can watch the ferry's come in. It's super close to Baxters and the Black Cat. The kitchen had everything we needed and I love that they actually have cable TV, which is not always the case. The owner was very responsive and really pleasant to talk to.

It was a lovely home! Excellent, clean, great location near the ferry and so very peaceful! We would rent again if available. My family said “they loved this place!”

The house provided the perfect cape experience for people who have never been. The house was set with everything one would need and Trader Joe’s is a short drive away. We had to hunker down for an impending storm but never lost power. Recommed The Pearl in wellfleet for food and drink or stop by the local pub at trader Ed’s. The bathroom could use some attention but the remainder of the house was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a college girls reunion.

We had an amazing stay! The house was comfortable and very clean. The decor was warm and inviting. Adriana and Frank were friendly, easy to reach and responded promptly to all questions we had. Our dog enjoyed the house as well, especially the outdoor space!
Thank you again, Adriana and Frank!

This adorable house is conveniently located within walking distance of ferries, main st Hyannis and a small beach. Lovely area. Hospital construction was active but not too loud. We are looking to purchase a home in this area & this stay helped convince us it’s the perfect cape spot.

We had a wonderful time , and thankful for the family time we got . Being so close to Hyannis center was a huge bonus . The owners were very responsive when we had a question about the TV too !

Way more comfortable and spacious than a hotel AND we brought our fluffy pupper to enjoy the weekend with us. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and the beds were so comfy! The fenced-in backyard was much loved by our poodle and there was so much to do in the area! Such a fun weekend!

This is a well-maintained property on a dead-end street close to Hyannis Port. The interior of the house has been recently upgraded and has all of the amenities you would expect including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living spaces and bedrooms. The yard is well maintained and features beautiful planters. there's plenty of parking. The fenced in backyard is shaded by mature trees and perfect for pets, barbecuing and enjoying the lovely Cape Cod weather in a private setting. The neighbors were quiet and cordial.
A few of the adjacent properties appear to be vacant or in need of repair, but I would not consider any of them a deterrent for vacationing in this area of Cape Cod. The property owners have gone to great lengths to make sure the environment is comfortable.
The entirety of Cape Cod is easily accessible from the central location, Including access to ferry transportstion to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket islands.
I have no hesitancy whatsoever in recommending this property and would gladly stay here again in the future.
my grateful thanks to the owners for their attention to detail and for making this property available to travelers to The Cape.
8.0 / 10.0
This house is in a great spot! Easy walk to the ferries and all the things to see in Hyannis. The only downside was some bug issues. We encounter a few spiders/cobwebs upstairs and a couple dead roaches downstairs. Totally understandable in an older house, but a little concerning that it wasn’t cleaned up by whoever cleaned the house before we arrived. We were also asked to start a load of towels prior to our departure (typical for most rentals) but all we could find was two empty bottles of detergent. We ended up having to go out to buy some to wash our own clothes and the towels. Minor, but still a little inconvenient. Overall, the only issues were with some things missed by whoever cleaned before we arrived, which I’m sure was just due to coming at the end of a busy season in cape cod.
Everything else was great and we would recommend it to anyone that needs a bit more space but still wants to be in walking distance to all the action.

We were very pleased with the Lewis Bay Getaway. It was like staying at a friend's house - it had its quirks (have to push real hard to turn off the shower), but it was also stocked with every random item you didn't know you needed (an extension cord here, some plastic cutlery there). The AC units and fans cooled the house nicely without being too loud. It's located near the hospital which I worried would be loud with ambulances - nope, not a sound was heard. And an added bonus - the hospital made for a great landmark making navigation really easy. It's also on a dead end street with only three other houses, so it was very quiet. We especially appreciated all the beach chairs, beach toys, beach umbrella, etc. We were able to pack less and still enjoy several long days at the beach with kids fully entertained for hours.
We got groceries at Trader Joe's several times making it cheap and convenient to eat breakfast at the house, pack lunches for the beach, and only eat out for dinner.
Internet was easy to connect and had plenty of bandwidth for multiple devices.
Nearby beaches we enjoyed: Sea Gull, Kalmus, and Chatham.
Great day trips: Hyannis Whale Watch tours and Providence.
Kid, parent, and vegetarian-approved restaurants: Sea Dog, Kettle & Hearth, Keltic Kitchen, DJ's Famous Wings.

Clean, Comfortable & Dog Friendly
This house was perfect for me, my wife and dog. It comes with everything that you could possibly need. Beds, linens and towels were in excellent shape. BBQ Grill worked great and even came with a tank of propane. The street is very quiet and is only a 10 minute walk to a nice beach which isn't private, but seems like it. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Frank and Adriana's house. They were also very responsive with my questions. Thank you for having us.

Excellent family getaway
We very much enjoyed our stay- house was immaculate and well stocked. Beach at the end of the road was perfect for sunning and swimming without the big beach hassle. Watching the boats was fun too. The yard was perfect for our dog and we loved watching the bunnies. Town was close enough to walk to. Would highly recommend.

Everything you could ever need!
This was our first family vacation with our toddler and our dog. So having a house with a fenced in yard was a must. This house was PERFECT. It was also a great location as it was within 30 minutes from anything we wanted to do. The little beach at the end of the street is walkable and great to watch big boats come in and out of the harbor. Also, the house had literally everything you could ever think to need. Our son is just at the end of potty training and we forgot his stool that he uses at home with the toilet, well guess what? They had one! The hosts are also wonderful and very responsive. If you’re deciding between properties, please pick this one!

Great Location
Owners were very responsive. We loved the walkability to everything. Also took the ferry to Nantucket. The close proximity to the hospital was not a problem. Ambulances shut their sirens off before entering the hospital area. So many restaurants in walking distance so no worries about parking. One bathroom is tough but wasn’t a problem for us.

Lovely, dog friendly stay at the Cape!
I'd happily stay at Frank and Adrianna's place again. They provided a spacious, clean, and comfortable place two stay for two adults and our two dogs. Both beds were very comfortable. They are thoughtful and responsive hosts. When I had a question about the carbon monoxide detector (it was chirping when we arrived), they told us where they kept the batteries so we could change it and resolve the issue. Just a word of warning: the house has a single bathroom and it is up a very steep set of (Cape-style) stairs. While not entirely unexpected, guests with limited mobility might want to consider a place where access to the bathroom doesn't require navigating the stairs.

The location on this house is perfect! So close to Main Street Hyannis. We loved ringing in the New Year 2022 on the Cape! All the amenities!
Frank and Adriana's property is exactly as described in their listing. We (family with a one year old) had a very comfortable stay. The amenities were fantastic, specifically: < 10 min walk to a local beach as well as the marina for boats to Nantucket; two high chairs, Pack n' Play, and toddler-friendly plates/utensils; enclosed outdoor shower with plenty of hot water and water pressure; 5 min walk to Tugboats, a local restaurant and bar overlooking the marina; everything and anything you could use in the kitchen (even dog bowls); beach towels, beach chairs, and sand toys; the gated back yard (it doesn't look like much in the pictures but it was perfect); the garage, which particularly came in hand to store our wagon, stroller, and other beach stuff; and the washer and dryer.

Great Cape Escape
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lewis Bay Getaway. The house was updated and equipped nicely, and roomy enough for four of us to spread out, but cozy enough to relax and hang out together, too. The fact that we could bring our dog and let him play in the fenced in back yard was an added bonus. The location was awesome - we made the short walk to the small beach down the street almost every day, and we took full advantage of everything right nearby in Hyannis, too (also very walkable from the house). We were also an easy drive to all the stores, beaches and attractions in the surrounding mid-Cape towns. Finally, our hosts were great about responding quickly when we had a question or needed something. We would return I'm a heartbeat.
