The Cabin was great and we LOVE Green Mountain Falls!

Enjoyed our stay- the cabin was as pictured. It was quiet, clean, and a fun get away. Unfortunately there were mice or bats in the ceiling which only figured out for sure on our last night in the cabin and we were told would be taken care of for the next guest.

My two grown children loved it! The electrical outlet situation could be improved lol. Overall they enjoyed it alot! Very, very steep road getting up and surrounding yard area not suitable for small children, too dangerous. But for 2 adults....Yes Ma'am!!!

This was our first time at this cabin. It was really nice. Loved the location! We are a family of 5 and it was just the perfect size for us. Very close to a lot of plenty of things to do with a family. Nice area to hike also. Owner and property manager were extremely nice. Would definitely recommend

This little cabin was perfect for my husband and I. We appreciate peaceful spots and we certainly found it. The view is stunning and the town is beautiful. We had a little difficulty with the property manager but nothing major. We met the owners and they were very kind and friendly. Not the least bit intrusive. I enjoyed our stay so much that I wished we could stay longer.

A vintage cabin tucked away in a quiet mountain neighborhood just minutes away from multiple activities. We enjoyed our stay and the owners were awesome. I would not hesitate to book again.

The cabin was in a good location and very cozy. Quiet area and although neighbors were close, it was still an awesome experience.

Remote but not! Close to lots of things to do!!
Quite a walk to see the falls but loved it; Within the neighborhood! Did it twice! Thanks for having everything a person would need!

We really enjoyed the cabin and the surrounding beauty. We had a great stay. It is a rustic cabin. so you should adjust you expectations accordingly, but it was exactly what we were looking for.

What an amazing view we had at this cabin! It made us feel remote while also being reasonably (and conveniently) close to the highway. Loved being able to go to the Green Mountain Falls shops and restaurants that were nearby.

We love it there. The views are amazing. The house is a perfect place to recharge. The picnic table is a wonderful place to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning.

Quaint little cabin tucked in the mountains. The road in and out is a bit rough but the cabin was as shown. Quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the waterfalls in town. We played tennis in the little town. The Pantry had a great breakfast. Short drive to the nearby attractions. We enjoyed our week.

Enjoyed our stay here. Shower head was a bit odd and a taller person would probably have an issue with it. Location close to area attractions but still remote which we enjoyed. Other cabins nearby but still felt secluded.

The perfect area this time of year. It was beautiful! The cabin was great and has everything you need. This was our second stay there this year and it is on our list of places to return.

This was a wonderfully rustic property nestled on the side of the mountain in Green Mountain Falls. Great location for quick access to hiking and for activities both up the mountain in Woodland Park and Cripple Creek as well as down the mountain in Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. The view is lovely and we really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. This is a very old cabin so make sure you have realistic expectations. If you are tall the shower will be a challenge. We loved our stay and the quietness of the location. And we loved being able to walk out the door and hike the Catamount falls trail. We recommend this cabin if you are looking for something quiet that is centrally located and doesn’t feel mass produced.

We love Green Mountain Falls. Close proximity to Manitou and CO Springs.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was quaint and comfortable, and included everything we needed. Even though it's located in a neighborhood, it felt private because of the changes in elevation and the density of the trees. The deck was a relaxing spot to just sit in the quiet and watch the deer, hummingbirds, other birds, squirrels and chipmunks among the boulders and in the trees. The owners live across the street; Mike introduced himself and recommended a lovely lunch place next to the little lake in Green Mountain Falls, which was a real treat.

We absolutely loved our stay here! This is an adorable cabin nestled right on the mountainside in Green Mountain Falls. It had all the amenities we needed. We were hoping to see bears but settled for the deer and hummingbirds ;)
In between sightseeing at Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak, ziplining, shopping in Manitou Falls and Old Colorado City, we enjoyed lounging on the deck and hammock. I also took advantage of the close proximity to the Catamount trailhead and hiked to the reservoir. Beautiful!
If we're ever in the area again, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect cabin on the mountain side
Wife and I enjoy our 20th anniversary here and we loved it! We went to Garden of the God's and drove the scenic route to Royal Gorge. Cabin has everything you need, thanks!

Absolutely amazing experience. We loved the opportunity to experience such a beautiful place. Deer, chipmunks, and humming birds were abundant. So tame, a magical, peaceful experience. Thank you for sharing!

Get away from most of the world
This 90-year-old cabin is lovely. It feels quite remote even though it is close to Woodland Park and Colorado Springs.
We (family of 4, including 2 kids ages 3 and 6) recommend this place with some info provided. 1) It is a 90-year-old cabin -- meaning that it was not built to facilitate tall (over 6'2") people. I am 6'2" and I bumped my head on light fixtures and grazed door frames. 2) Electrical outlets are a bit of a challenge. There are only 2 grounded outlets in the place - both in the living room. The other outlets are 2-prong only. 3) The cabin has WiFi, but it is quite slow. Do not expect to be able to work while up here (although with the beauty around, who would want to?). 4) it is a dirt road to get there and quite steep in several places. People live up here and drive it daily, so it isn't a big deal, but should taken into consideration. Parking is tight and requires backing down the hill in order to turn around and drive out when leaving. 5) there are no actual doors on the bedrooms - one has a curtain, the other has a sliding plastic accordion-style divider. Do not expect significant privacy from other family members.
All this said, we had an amazing time. Our kids loved playing in the dirt outside and crawling around on the rocks below the cabin. We enjoyed hiking up to the waterfalls about 20 minutes up the mountain from the cabin. It was a spectacular basecamp for going out and seeing Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, Cave of the Winds, Royal Gorge and so much more. We strongly recommend AJ's Pizza in Woodland Park and The Pantry in Green Mountain Falls.
Enjoy your time at this out-of-the-way place. It is worth it. We would come back again.

Our favorite trip yet!!
This cabin is amazing. Pictures do not do justice to how in The mountains you are, yet very easy to access. The views are the best we’ve ever had staying at vacation rentals. Your not looking at a mountain in the distance you are looking up at one from the front porch, Wow!! Cabin is very cute. We had a constant flow of chipmunks and humming birds and even saw a brown bear!! This place was so great after our daily activities we chose to cook there and just hang out as opposed to going into manitou for the night life and restaurants even though it’s only a 10 minute drive. We loved this place, thanks for letting us experience it.

We loved the cabin and the area! The hosts make sure you have everything you may need. Peaceful and relaxing, but not too far from anything. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

Relaxing Trip
We have stayed at this property before. It is a perfect relaxing getaway. It’s close to several attractions, but it’s secluded enough to feel like the perfect escape from reality too.

Nice little getaway spot
I had a couple meetings in Colorado Springs and added a couple extra days for a personal getaway. This worked out better than I even hoped. The cabin was perfect for me (and could have been comfortable for a family of four). There was 12-18 inches of fresh snow on the ground and still coming down when I arrived. I had seen the forecast and packed my snowshoes and gear. There are hiking trails accessible from the neighborhood. I got in a couple nice days of snowshoeing/hiking and finished every evening by the fireplace. The bed was comfortable, the furnishings were cozy, there are nice wooded views out every window and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. I would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful slice of Heaven
We had the nicest vacation at this sweet cabin! Well appointed kitchen and everything we needed throughout the house. We spent the mornings drinking coffee on the deck and it was so quiet and peaceful. Town is a short drive up the road where we ate all 3 GREAT restaurants. The owner lives just up th3 hill and was extremely friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Can't wait to go back next year. Only caveat is make sure to take the printed map they send you when you book. GPS was spotty at best getting there. Good wifi, nice TV and we LOVED the fireplace!

Sweet Cabin
I was looking for something a bit removed from a city and a tad isolated but with some modern conveniences. This cabin really fit the need of our family of four.
We used the fireplace, cooked on the stove, and even watched a little bit of football on the television. The base board heaters were plenty good to keep us warm in a fairly chilly mid-October weekend.

Relaxing week!
We had an amazing time watching wildlife. We had a red fox visit us most mornings as well as mule deer and blue cardinals. The cabin was comfortable and we had everything that we needed.
