The property is in a very quiet neighborhood in Green Mountain Falls, walking distance to a couple of restaurants and the GMF park. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for 4 adults. I slept in the loft room, which is obviously meant for children, but it was very cozy and I enjoyed using that room.

Lovely place to stay. Ability to eat outside by the stream was a highlight for the grandchildren. Listening to the stream at night was enjoyed by all. The house was just as described: perfect for our group. Would definitely stay again.

We were shocked when we we entered this stunning cabin! It is the the nearest place & location! The only thing is, we felt it could have been a little cleaner. There were a lot of crumbs and dust left behind. Floor not kept real well. Besides that, the stream and surroundings are to die for!!!

We had a great time. The house was so clean. Love the layout of the house.

Roomy, close to town, wonderful stay in GMFs. Decor was a bit dated but this was disclosed. Loved the creek so close and outdoor patio!

Our family from N CO met up with cousins from OK at this property and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thoughtful amenities and all comforts of home made us feel like this was truly a family home and we felt incredibly welcome. The small, but very well equipped kitchen and the convenience of the ample sized grill allowed us to enjoy most of our meals at home. We loved to sit on the back deck to play games, talk, and enjoy the breeze. Sleeping with the windows open to listen to the creek was a treat! All linens were soft, clean, and comfortable.
Despite very high temperatures forecasted, the house stayed cool. The property management company brought over extra fans and we closed up the windows and drew shades during the day which allowed us to come back from the city to a comfortable house.
The location, being only 20 minutes from Colorado Springs, but far enough away to feel like we were in the mountains, was ideal. The community of Green Mountain Falls was quaint, quiet, and welcoming. We loved the gift/coffee shop and The Pantry.
This rustic mountain retreat was wonderful and I highly recommend it!

Great place right on the creek. The sound of the water put me to sleep every night! Huge deck and anything you might need in the house. Prop manager easily contacted if needed. Would def return thank you!

Upon arriving to the cabin, we were in awe. There is a fast moving, but small, creek directly in the back and to the side of the cabin. The tables and chairs made it really nice to sit out and enjoy the nature with many types of birds and even a family of 12 deer visited and just hung out. Inside the cabin, you're greeted with a hug open living room and outstanding rock fireplace. What I loved about the living space were the large windows, which provided a lot of sunlight and at night, the lighting ambience was perfect because you could dim the lights and have just the perfect amount of light to make it relaxing. There were 3 large bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 1 with a king. Each bed was extremely comfortable! Also having 2 bathrooms was really nice. The office had a small couch, that could be made into a bed, but only for a child, definitely not an adult. There was also a loft with 2 twin beds. The kitchen and dining space had everything you could possibly need to cook and dine with. The only recommendation is new spices - quite a few were outdated. I loved having a washer and dryer to have access to as well. Though the cabin is not secluded in the middle of nowhere, it was definitely quiet and relaxing. Also, only a few miles into Woodland Park and not far from the Springs. You'll love this home for your rental...you won't regret booking it!

This cabin has plenty of space with separate living and dining areas. There are also two outdoor areas for dining and/or gathering. The fast-running stream on the property is a nice bonus. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We will definitely go back.

It’s a home away from home. The cabin has everything you can possibly need.

If you enjoy being away from the busyness of the city, this is the place for you. Well kept, quiet and cozy, with great surroundings! The creek sounds are tranquil. Our young teen children loved playing outside and exploring. Close enough to activities in Colorado Springs and manitou springs! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!

We loved the location of the home. Clean towels, clean sheets were great. Needed some cob web work however. The worst was the condition of the patio/deck. We know there had been some bad weather but the patio needed to be cleaned there were leaves and trash in the corners that had been there for awhile. Attention to detail needed. Thank you.

Overall, out stay was great! We enjoyed exploring local towns and relaxing in the cabin. The layout and features throughout the cabin provided a warm and cozy experience. Our only complaint is the cabin felt a little cluttered with the amount of stuff (presumably owner's) throughout the space. This was not a big deal and did not interfere with us enjoying our trip.

We wanted a quick stay in the mountains that was close to Denver so we could hike, cook, play games and watch bowl games with our adult son, his girlfriend and dog over New Year’s. The house was perfect- kitchen well equipped, TV very large with great wifi for streaming and fireplace so easy to use & put out more heat than expected! We loved walking to town for a breakfast at The Pantry & hiking on multiple local trails and in Garden of the Gods. Would highly recommend!

We stayed a well in this home and it was perfect for my family. We saw deer right in the front yard and the creek out back was so nice. Big patio and location was perfect. Right outside of Colorado Springs with tons to do in the area and not too close to the city. Hosts were very quick to reply with any questions we had. We definitely need to try this location during the summer as well. Thank you very much for a great stay!!!

Stayed here around Thanksgiving just to relax. We were used to the weather but we did get out and did some exploring. The house had everything and more of what we needed. I would love to come back again

The setting for the property is wonderful. 5 adults (1 couple and 3 single) stayed here for a full week and enjoyed the setting and area greatly.
Pros:
As mentioned above, the setting is great.
Very relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to the brook and watch for deer.
Some of us took several hikes in the area. Had much fun.
The house is very homey and inviting. Lots of amenities.
Cons:
The property is listed as 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8. The property should be listed as 3 bedrooms and a loft. The loft and it's pull-out bed is probably fine for kids, but not for an adult. Pull-out bed needs to be replaced - VERY uncomfortable for an adult. Loft doesn't have much privacy either. I doubt that 8 adults could sleep here comfortably.
(minor issue) The place was clean, but could use a deep cleaning.
Overall, we liked the place and setting (many things to do in the area). We didn't care for the loft as a bedroom for an adult and it's poor bed.

The cabin is quite comfortable and perfect for a group of 7-8. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The location can't be beat as it was so convenient to so many things to see and do. Wildlife visited everyday. Coffee on the deck by the creek each morning was a great way to start the day. We're ready to go back!

The house had comfortable beds, lots of extra linens, a great porch, and extra amenities to get us by if we had forgotten anything (condiments, soap, shampoo, etc.).
The check out process was by far the easiest I’ve ever experienced…basically pile up your towels and that’s it!
We also enjoyed the little restaurants in town; The Pantry had great breakfast!

Overall, we had a great stay. The living room carpet needed a good vacuuming but that’s not a deal breaker. Deck was wonderful and the beds were awesome. We would stay there again.

Otta-Walla cabin was perfect for our family trip! Our family trip included my husband and I and our four children, plus my in laws!
The cabin was absolutely amazing! I loved the homey welcoming feel about it! We were surprised to arrive to snow right as we pulled in! The location was perfect! The cabin was perfect and stocked with all the things you would need in a home away from home! Some people may recommend updates to the cabin but we thoroughly enjoyed the cozy comfy and homey feel. We also enjoyed reading about the history of Otta-walla cabin. The only thing I would change was the bed in the loft and maybe add one to the sitting room, for a little comfier sleeping place for more guests. I have already recommended it to friends and family and We will definitely book this cabin again in the future! What a wonderful place to ring in the New Year!

This home was perfect for our Family Christmas Reunion. We all loved how the home felt warm and welcoming with a nod to going to Grandma's house. The location is perfect to feel "up in the mountains" but close to necessities. There is even a bobcat family that we saw several times not to mention deer wandering through the neighborhood. Well stocked, clean and roomy with an absolutely beautiful and massive fireplace! I'm sure the property is at it's peak during the summer months with the creek that runs so close by the house and all the beautiful trees. This is truly a refreshing slice of "Old Colorado".

Otta- Walla is a very comfortable place to stay!
Up keep of outside needs some attention but ok for age of property.
Master bed room needs new carpet and a new overhead light! Quiet and peaceful stay
Would reccomend and return

We really enjoyed the cabin and its location. The creek running right behind the place was just what we needed. The proximity to "downtown" was perfect. Everything was a nice walk away and our place was quiet!

We loved our stay, plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen, games and hiking poles, loved the skylights and the creek behind the house, walking distance to town and trailheads. Would definitely stay here again.

Sunflower Family
We loved our experience in Green Mountain Falls. The home was perfect for the entire family. Kids enjoyed playing in the creek, adults enjoyed the deck and location to all the things. The house had everything we needed and was our home away from home. Weather was perfect! Thank you from Kansas!

Creek side home.
Love the home and the small village. Slept with the windows open and the sound of the creek just outside our bedroom lulled us to sleep. The house handled our extended family very well. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful family get-a-way!
LOVED the home! So much space and so close to the village and hiking trail. Would recommend a ceiling fan in each room and lights on the parking side, but other than that- PERFECTION!

Great to connect with nature
Location was very peaceful and the teens had so much fun being in nature and enjoyed the stream of water behind the house. The place is located to many things to get out and see. The home is spacious, great for cooking family dinners and took me back to my 70’s childhood. Would love to return one day!

Perfect Creek-Side Mouth Getaway
My family had a lovely stay here for Thanksgiving. The cabin was clean, quaint, cozy, well-equipped for all our needs including games and puzzles and toys for our five year-old. The cabin is located within walking distance to restaurants, post-office, playground, pond with gazebo, and hiking to beautiful Crystal Falls. One highlight of the trip is that deer are everywhere! They graze all around the neighborhood and all over the property too. They enjoy a drink along the creek adjacent to the cabin. The creek was another highlight and we’d open windows or sit along the large deck to listen to it. Overall a great experience and we highly recommend if you’re looking for a serene getaway.

Idyllic Mountain Getaway, almost
We were very pleased with the setting and the house layout: quaint little mountain town that was quiet and relaxing next to a wonderful little creek; the bedrooms on each end of the house giving three generations of family privacy but comfy common rooms to gather.
We were extremely disappointed, however, in the lack of cleanliness. Although the bathrooms seemed to have been cleaned well, the kitchen was not: coffee grounds still in the coffee pot, particles of food on the dishes and silverware, dried jam on the counter, sticky kitchen cupboards. We ended up rewashing all of the dishes. And though pet friendly, the carpets were pretty awful. The place really needs a deep clean and then more attention between stays!
Our stay would have been PERFECT if not for the challenges presented by the above.

Relaxing get away for family
Staying at this home was like visiting at a dear friend's home. The owners clearly use this as their vacation home and leave all of the conveniences for their visitors. Beds were comfortable, and everything was perfect for a relaxing long weekend. Many hiking trailheads were within walking distance. Very convenient.

A Colorado first
The property was nice. Kitchen a little disoraganized for me, but I like to cook. With the dog wished some of the yard had been mowed. Location seemed great, close to alot of things to experience. We enjoyed our stay.

Great family location
The house was great for family vacation. Plenty of room and comfortable. However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness. The basics like towels and sheets were clean and it was vacuumed. But it needs dusting and we had to spend around 2 hours cleaning the grill and fixing the burners before we could use it. Also, if there were grill utensils we could not find them. Also, in the master bedroom we could hear a motor turning on and off every few minutes which was annoying. Overall we rated it “good”. But it could be excellent with a deep cleaning, better kitchen organization, regular grill maintenance and fixing the pump noise.
