About this cabin rental

Tucked away on the side of Pikes Peak yet easily accessible year round, Pike's Peak Chalet is conveniently located less than 15 minutes from Manitou Springs and only 20 minutes from Colorado Springs. This rustic cabin has all the modern technologies including a smart TV, high speed internet with WiFi and a landline phone.

The spacious living room with a cozy wood burning fireplace provides guests with a very comfortable setting to enjoy visiting or sitting quietly and reading a good book. While preparing meals in the well equipped kitchen which includes a microwave, a dishwasher, and a gas stove, guests will be entertained by squirrels, chipmunks and deer amidst towering pine trees as they play just outside the windows. There's a gas BBQ Grill outside and a fire pit for roasting s'mores on those cool summer evenings. Each bedroom is furnished with a comfortable queen size bed and there is a queen pullout sofa with a memory foam mattress in the living room. From the deck enjoy the mountain views and the sounds of Fountain Creek, or take a short walk to the trail system that leads to town or up the mountain. Also, soak in the newly installed Hot Tub after a long day of playing!

This cabin makes a great home base for trips to many major tourist attractions including: The Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, The U.S. Air Force Academy, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Seven Falls, Green Mountain Falls Pool, the U.S. Olympic Training Center and many more. Shoppers will love a day trip to Manitou Springs or Old Colorado City. Those who love the outdoors will find great hiking, fishing, golf, 4-wheeling, rafting and biking nearby.

We regret that all furry friends must be left at home. The owner is allergic to animals and uses the cabin often. The access to our home may be challenging for guests who have a difficult time with stairs. Three parking spaces are available at the street level.

My family and I absolutely loved this cabin! It was so cozy, clean, and comfortable. The owners thought of every detail. I have never stayed in a place that was so well stocked with every essential. Having access to the washer and dryer was a perk. We loved the hot tub. The outdoor space was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Spent a lovely week at this cabin near CO Springs. Our family enjoys a more rustic scene and this was perfect as it was close to many attractions, yet offered an ideal area to unwind after a fun-filled day. Clean and tidy property!

We enjoyed our stay! My kids loved the hot tub and the local hiking trails. The house was accurately described. My husband and I enjoyed a quiet drink on the front porch while we watched deer in the front yard.

It was wonderful and everything I was looking for. The pictures honored everything except at first I thought the gazebo was part of the property, but it was just a short walk away. The blue moose bar had some pretty good food as well. I liked the area alot and the stay was perfect.

The property was perfect! It’s in a great location, very close to a ton of local attractions. The hiking trails near the property were beautiful as well. The cabin was very well-stocked with the essentials and being able to soak in the hot tub after a long day of hiking was the cherry on top! We will definitely book this property the next time we are in the area.

Our family had a great stay at PPC. The cabin is fully stocked and Justin is a super responsive and friendly host. PPC is conveniently located. We enjoyed the restaurants (Mucky Duck) and Green Mountain Falls trails within walking distance. Green Mountain Falls is a great little community and only 15 min to Manitou Springs. Highly recommend PPC!

We had an amazing vacation in Colorado! This cabin was absolutely perfect! It's really easy to get to & in the perfect location to be close to everything yet tucked away enough for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing vacation. The cabin had everything we could have needed & more! It was very clean & made us feel at home, so much so that we didn't want to leave. We loved the hot tub & spent a lot of time relaxing & enjoying the scenery in there. This was our first time in Colorado & we'd definitely come back & stay at this cabin again! Justin & everyone we met were very nice & very accommodating. The cabin was located in a great spot, close to everything we could think of doing- hiking, exploring, eating, drinking, Colorado Springs, Green Falls little downtown, and airport. We had 4 adults with us, and had plenty of room. First VRBO I’ve stayed at that was so well stocked, we didn’t have to worry about much. Owner was also super responsive. Zero complaints and will look to this cabin first the next time I’m in the area.

Great cabin, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. Great outdoor spaces including the front deck/balcony and back patio with picnic table, chairs, fire pit, and hot tub. I appreciated the owner's thoughtfulness in having the kitchen stocked with spices and other kitchen items that many rental cabins do not have. We also appreciated the cabin info binder that included suggestions on local hiking - we especially enjoyed a sunrise hike at the HB Wallace reserve which is just a short walk up the hill behind the cabin. Convenient location to Green Mountain Falls just up the road. Great spot, would love to come back again for a longer stay!

We had a good time staying in this cabin, and it's location made it easy to get to a lot of things. We loved being "on the mountain" in a way and spent plenty of time hanging out on the patio. We would stay here again when we visit this area again. There is a pull out couch bed, too. It was a short walk into the nearby town where we enjoyed the park and tavern.

The cabin was amazing. Very well taken care of and stocked with a lot of thoughtful things for guests. Convenient location to the mountain towns and also the city of Colorado Springs. Will definitely be returning to experience the warmer months as well.

Beautiful home with extras I never had owners leave for guest before, very thoughtful. Property as advertised. So close to hiking in Colorado Springs and Manitou. Enjoyed a fire in the fireplace every night and the hot tub fantastic after our long hikes. Wild life in the yard several times throughout trip. Just peaceful and felt like an escape but still minutes to everything .

This cabin was the perfect location to access area sight seeing attractions and then unwind and relax in a quiet setting. We liked being able to walk to the Blue Moose for pizza. The hot tub was perfect. We saw mule deer in the yard almost everyday. The cabin has all the supplies needed which made the stay even better. Beds were comfortable. The owners thought of everything including providing tips for sight seeing and dining.

we stayed at this property for our honeymoon after eloping at garden of the gods, the cabin was amazing. it's tucked away in the cutest town, locals were so friendly, it was a quick drive to many locations, and had plenty to do at the cabin itself. The host truly thought of everything and we cannot recommend this place enough. would definitely come back!
