Chill weekend at the beach with our daughter and her family. Canon was pretty clean, and had enough kitchen supplies and appliances for meal prep. It’s an easy quarter mile walk to the beach. Neighborhood feels safe, and pretty light traffic; more golf carts than cars. The bed we slept on was extremely hard, and our heads were lower than our feet, which made for a couple of restless nights 😬. No complaints from those in the other two bedrooms. I would recommend this location. Keitha at Jamaica Beach Realty was helpful with the rental, and got us a better price than using VRBO or AirB&B.

This house is in a great neighborhood. There wasn’t a ton of people around (we were there just as season was starting so that could be part of the small crowds) but it was quiet and pleasant. Because we had littles with us, it was a bit too far to walk to the beach but there is plenty of street parking at every beach access in the neighborhood that it wasn’t any inconvenience to just drive over a block or two.
As for the property itself, this place is adorable! Upon checking in, we noticed that one of the beds wasn’t very sturdy and with a little investigation, we figured out it was just some loose screws in the frame. We tightened what we could with hands so it was usable for the night (we arrived late at night!) and reported it to the property management in the morning. Their response time was super quick and they asked when it would be convenient for them to come by or if they could come when we weren’t there to fix it. They got the bed fixed quickly and we were all set!
The house was clean, though there was a fair amount of dog hair around (being that it was at the beginning of the season & this is a pet-free unit, I’m sure it was from the owners.) We are dog owners ourselves so this wasn’t a big deal to us but may be something to keep in mind if you do have any pet allergies! Otherwise, the house was clean. Bathrooms were clean. We did wash the dishes, utensils, etc. in the kitchen before using.
Overall, a great experience! Highly recommend!

Molly’s Dune was a great layout for our group. The rental process was easy checkin and Joel was super helpful with setting us up for a great time. The house was a last minute rental because of an unexpected cancellation that was stressful. Molly’s Dune completely saved our vacation. Very safe area, friendly neighbors, short walk to beach, inside was immaculate and very roomy. We were comfortable and would rent this property again and again. New favorite rental on the island. Highly recommended.

The house was well equipped; it even had a large crockpot.
It was a couple of blocks from the beach, but with a wagon to hull our things and a stroller for the toddler we did fine.
Do remember to bring toilet paper, toiletries and paper towels. This property does not supply. Not a problem; we came prepared.

We stayed on the beach and there were no beach towels available. There was also no hand soap, extra toilet paper or paper towels. For 6 of us in one house for 5 days, one roll of toilet paper wasn’t going to cut it. We had to go to the store and purchase our own essentials, which is very dissatisfying on vacation. The house was nice and convenient to the beach but those were about the only positives.

We had a great time during our stay. Plenty of room to move and relax, without feeling like you were right on top of one another. Amenities on site were fantastic, with a few exceptions. There was no dustpan for sweeping the floors. Also, the inside handle on the front door was not secured properly, so every time you tried to open the door, it would come off in your hand unless you remember to have a kung fu grip. Thirdly, the propane for the grill ran out after 1 1/4 use, had to utilize the range to finish "grilling" salmon and steak (Not ideal). Lack of beach towels is a slight annoyance, however I can see both sides. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation, eating lots of great food and experiencing amazing adventures. Thanks for sharing your home!!

Loved our stay at Molly's Dune. The house was well stocked, clean and cheerful. We had two boys, 4 and 2 who loved playing downstairs after a day at the beach. The adults loved the porch in the evening after cooking great seafood. Everyone loved the house and had a great time.

My family and I were in Galveston for a wedding and rented Molly's Dune for 5 nights in April 2015. The property was very clean in a nice neighborhood and easy to get to. On the Friday night we had severe weather and the property owner called to make sure we were ok we thought that was a kind thing for him to do. Our only complaint would be a lack of drawer space for clothes.

The BEST! We loved this home from the moment we pulled up. It is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was super clean and comfortable. We even loved how it was decorated! You felt at the beach even in the home. The walk to the beach was easy and with all the beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and wagon available for use it made it so easy. My sister and I stayed at the property for a weekend getaway.
The property is beautiful I don’t like the fact that it wasn’t enough privacy no blinds over the windows and for something that cost as much as it did I believe toiletries could have been accommodated I will definitely rent again but I will make sure I come prepared although it was in fine print to bring toilet paper and napkins I just don’t believe you should have to when you’re coming out of town renting something he should be there. Overall Our stay was amazing.
