At this oceanview Newport vacation rental, up to 10 guests will be treated to a private sauna, an ideal location near Yaquina Bay State Recreation Site, and a spacious interior with room for everyone.
The great room features exposed timber beams and a vaulted ceiling. Grab a seat at the cushioned bench area or in one of the easy chairs. On chilly coast nights, there isn't a more cozy spot (unless it's seated around the bistro table, sharing a bottle of wine).
There's also a TV with cable, a DVD player, and a VCR to help entertain the group, as well as magnificent views through the windows. View a gorgeous sunset or a dramatic winter storm, all from the comfort of this warm living area.
From the well-stocked kitchen, you can whip up a hearty pasta meal or a light breakfast before wandering down to the beach to look for shells or pieces of agate. And when it's time to clean up, the dishwasher will assist in taking care of the mess. Between the dining room table, breakfast bar, and wooden bistro table, everyone will have a spot for meals.
Each level of this home features an outdoor deck, so no matter where you are in the house, a breath of fresh sea air is close by. Greet the mornings with a mug of coffee while you watch the waves roll in, or spend a quiet afternoon sketching the ocean while you listen to the waves.
This gorgeous Oregon Coast vacation rental has four bedrooms with three queen beds, a full bed, and a set of twin bunk beds - perfect for up to 10 guests. In addition, there are three full bathrooms for added convenience.
With a TV on each level, it's easy to have concurrent movie nights here - one for the kids and one for the adults. Other amenities include free WiFi, a ramp from the outside into the main level (for those who prefer not to use stairs), a stereo, and a washer/dryer.
From this location just north of the historic Yaquina Bay Bridge, you can walk to the galleries, shops, and restaurants along Newport's historic bayfront. On rainy days, visit the Ripley's Believe it or Not! Odditorium, the Oregon Coast Aquarium, or just spend the afternoon sampling pints of Rogue Ale at their Public House, right on Bay Boulevard.
From here, the small collection of shops and galleries in artsy Nye Beach is only a 20-minute walk away. Beach access is right from the house via a short, level path right to Yaquina Bay Park. And on nights you don't feel like cooking, there are at least a dozen restaurants that are walkable - everything from fresh fish at Local Ocean Seafoods to wood-fired pizza at Panini Bakery. Golfers can visit the Agate Beach Golf Course and just a bit farther north, Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area has great hiking and a historic lighthouse to explore.
This Yaquina House in Newport offers wonderful amenities with a touch of luxury, as well as a comfortable environment. Whether you golf and bike in the sun, sit on the deck enjoying a summer day, or stormwatch from the warmth of the living room, this will truly be an Oregon Coast getaway to remember!

Great view, short walk to the beach, perfect location just 10 minutes away from the aquarium. Loved the quirky layout with the conversation pit. Be aware that one of the upstairs beds (the queen) has an open loft and can see/hear everything downstairs, and the downstairs bedrooms are a little weird layout-wise as well; you have to go through the queen bed space to get to the twin bunks. So not quite as much privacy as we expected. Quiet location except for the lighthouse foghorn and some owls. Kitchen supplies were outdated but had everything we needed to prepare/eat. Perfect if you want to spend time just staring at the water or walking on the beach.

Excellent location for easy access to beach, Newport and 101. Beautiful view of the ocean and the beds were comfortable! Lots of cookware . Lovely fireplace. Very well done.

The house has fantastic views, close to the park with beach access. Kitchen is well equipped and beds very comfortable. Showers were strong.
WiFi was great too.

Great location, very clean, beautiful views and a great family outing!!

Overall the house was an ideal location for my families stay. We were running the Newport Marathon and it was a close walk to the start line. Also super close beach access was great for the kids. Some of the outlets were lose as the chargers would fall out, the house was looked clean but could have used some dusting to the picture frames and decor. The kitchen could use some updated utensils. The house is three stories and provided so much space for the kids to play and for adults to lounge. Overall a good stay for the location and price. My family and I would stay again.

What an amazing experience for my family. The house had tons of space to spread out and equipped with everything we needed. It was next door to the State Park. Beach access was close but there are quite a few stairs. We will be back for sure.

Great access to the beach via the park. House itself is roomy, has plenty of dishes and kitchen equipment. Beware, however, that upstairs master bedroom has one wall mostly open to the vaulted living room and dining area—very problematic sound-wise unless everyone goes to bed and gets up at the same time

Close to the beach and shopping area, very spacious, with a beautiful view.
Will definitely book again!

Wow! What an excellent experience!!
This house was roomy enough that next time we’ll be coming with extended family. The views are excellent and the path to the beach was easily accessible through the adjacent lighthouse park. We watched the storms roll in, played games, and enjoyed some of the excellent food around town.
Visitors, consider donating kid games. A few games were worn out and missing pieces.

Perfect for place to stay for a large family. Great views plenty of space.

The home was very outdated to the 60-70's. There were several maintenance issues. The dining room was updated and had a fantastic view of the ocean. I left a list of maintenance items that really need fixing before anyone else stays.

Too many problems to list on this property! Main floor Fireplace does not work and has not for some time(at least 7 months ago according to reviews I should have read. Relied on the pictures which are misleading). Only two burners on the stove work. The kitchen is crammed with old mostly unusable junk with no cupboards left to store food. Upstairs bathroom has a poorly repaired sectional shower that leaks and has black mold in the cracks. Toilet handle fell off many times and toilet would not stop running . Main floor bathroom has a toilet seat that is so worn the wood shows. Downstairs smells musty in spite of obvious attempt to mask order. Old mattress and carpet crammed behind sauna and MANY spiders. We paid for late departure but door code was changed and we were locked out. Do not walk through park (beach access) after Dark. Some homeless people live there. One tried to gain entry to our rental several times and was pounding on doors and windows starting at 4;30 AM. He attempted entry into 3 homes in the area and used a hot tub at one. We all called - eventually police found and removed him. View is stellar but house is in major decay and disrepair. Park area is sketchy.

Short walk down to beach, and into town. House with lots of games, videos, books, and a well stocked kitchen. Sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms. Would stay here again.

The house was great for my party of 10! We were all comfortable in our rooms and we enjoyed the shared spaces and amenities. We cooked in the kitchen that was well equipped for our dinner and breakfast plans. The house was well cleaned and stocked with plenty of towels, paper products, shampoos/conditioners, body soaps, dish washer tabs and dish soap, and more! We played games on the TVs and watched movies. We watched the sun set through the big windows every day in the kitchen/dining room area. It was great!

Awesome view, great location walking distance to both Nye beach & bayfront.

Great view, good location. Everything else needs work. I will just state facts: Two people let themselves in, one not identifying himself with only my wife there, the other a lady saying she was with Vacasa? They left something behind, they got it and left but still!!! Next stovetop had only one burner work, gas fireplace doesn’t work, sauna pulled handle and it fell off could not use. There was still Trash in trash cans inside of bedrooms and house like an old apple… a wad of toilet paper with brown stuff on the lower deck. A pile of trash( old mattress carpet and more) stacked behind sauna. Mold on ceiling in basement bathroom, toilet running nonstop. Vinyl Floor lifting from previous leak. Everything was all outdated and grungy. Could be a very beautiful home with some work.

Great house and great location!

Good vacation house with ocean views. Closest beach access is only available via the adjacent state park … it’s not quite as convenient as the listing makes it out to be and definitely not friendly for folks with mobility challenges.

Amazing location and beautiful house! Would absolutely stay again! Incredible views.

Some beach rentals have been over taken by Home Depot renovation. This house has the old school vibe that feels personal and quirky like an architects home from the 70’s. We loved just sitting and staring at the ocean. Great access to the beach. Will be back! Special thx to Matt who was very responsive and thoughtful.

We had a great time staying here! The house was clean and well stocked.

The home seemed good until we found the bed bugs! Reported this to VRBO/Vacasa, but still haven’t heard back. We asked for a refund, but nothing so far…

The view, the fire place, the sauna, and the WiFi we're great. The beds were fine and there were plenty of towels. The kitchen is well equipped.
The hot water could have been hotter. And we all tripped repeatedly over the stair to the sunken conversation pit. The downstairs fridge is anoyingly loud.
That said we would rent it again.

The house was late getting ready but staff is short these days so understandable. House is bad need of some repair and deep cleaning. Very outdated and appears to be sloping toward the coast, definitely not level. Loft bedroom is not very private but still we had a good time for three days.

The house is located near the state park beach access. The morning walk on the beach was wonderful. The house is well stocked, a little aged, but fairly well maintained. Vacasa representatives were very responsive and very helpful. I would rent again.

We were in town for work so we didn’t spend a lot of time in the home but it was a perfect place to lay our heads beds were comfy rooms and bathrooms were clean and the sauna is a nice touch

The three levels was the perfect layout for our extended family vacation and provided lovely views of the ocean Location was great, directly next to the Yaquina State Park which provided access to the beach. Sadly, the house itself has been sorely neglected and even the most basic maintenance has deferred in favor of profit$$$ from short term rental fees. Cleaning was cursory at best. So many outlets and lights didn't work that we lost count. Garbage disposal didn't work so the kitchen sink filled up with water making meal prep for 7 people over 5 days a real challenge. I reported this and was promised a remedy which never came. It wouldn't take much to rehab this property, making me wonder if the cleaning or rental company every reports to the absentee owner that X Y Z needs to be fixed, or replace, or made safer? On the bright side, the weather couldn't have been better.

Great view and location, but residence could use some fixing up and better cleansing. Shower was pretty filthy, carpets stained and spotted, kitchen appliances were worn. I expected a little more for the price.

The pictures cannot do the ocean view justice. We arrived late the first night and, looking out the large dining area windows, hoped for an ocean view in the morning. And WOW! A panoramic view. With sunset right outside the window in the evening. The path to the beach is next door at the state park. There is a steep cliff so the walk takes about 5 minutes and is steep with stairs - this is the case for any house along this part of the beach.
The house itself was very clean and has been well-maintained. The kitchen is well stocked - we cooked and served a whole Thanksgiving meal with the dishes, pots and pans available. Coming from across the country we were very happy to find some basics - salt, pepper, other spices, dish soap, dishwater soap - and left a few new in return. We found plenty of room for 7 people including more than enough hot water, bedding and towels. The fireplace was enjoyed every night.
Thank you so much for a great experience!

This house is a bit eclectic but provides all the amenities, great space, fantastic views and access to some amazing adventures!!

Beautiful view of the beach from the house. The house is right on the edge of the park and there are trails leading to the beach. Plenty of room for a large family stay. The house is 1970s style but it's spacious and has everything you need and is very clean. Will recommend it to friends and family.

Perfect location for beach walking. Large, eclectic house was great for our extended family getaway.

Needs to be updated
House is in a nice location and beautiful views. However, the daily cost does not equate to the condition of the house. The house is in dire need of updating to include the amenities. Everything is nostalgic with cassette decks and vhs. However, we are in the 21st century and would advise to update. Pretty cool 70s layout too.
