WOW! What a wonderful reunion week! Our family, ages 18 to 81, starts planning our reunions at least a year in advance. We travel from California, Colorado, Texas, Virginia.
Without question, the MacDaddy is our most spectacular experience! We were fortunate to have good weather the entire week. The gorgeous home, the beautiful grounds, the amenities, the amazing number of ‘toys” both in the home, on the grounds, in the water…WOW! Certainly all this is attributable to the owners of the home. Their attention to every detail of the entire property made out experience very memorable.

Every water toy was used throughout the week! Paddleboards, kayaks, water trampoline/slide, pool, hot tub…
Because we were at the MacDaddy while the Olympics were happening, our Auntie devised our own take on the Olympics. Using the many toys available, she created several competitions such as timed kayak race, indoor curling, etc. Replicas of the gold/silver medals were awarded. We appreciated being able to watch Olympic events on the many TV’s.
The Boat House was a favorite gathering spot for many activities.
Bar-b-que cooking…some dinners, a special delicious breakfast prepared/cooked by the grandkids! Yum!

We had the most amazing time! There was no shortage of things to do. We spent our days boating, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming.
We also enjoyed simply relaxing by the water. Whether it was reading a book on the dock, or just soaking in the sun, the lake provided a perfect spot for this.
There was not one amenity that was overlooked. The house was perfect for multiple families.
We can't wait to go back!

My family of 21, my husband and I, 6 of our 7 children, spouses and 8 grandchildren, most drove from Connecticut, drive was rough but by the end of the week everyone was asking each other if they would do the drive again, a resounding YES! This place is amazing. The house is so comfortable, beds, relaxing areas, pool, hot tub, oh and the boathouse was a favorite of mine. Everyone swam, fished, jumped off the trampoline, went on boat rides, had fires at night with s’mores and night swimming. We made some wonderful lasting memories! Our 3 yr old Grandson cried the morning we had to leave, he said “no Mommy this is my bed and home now” lol. The Holden and Chris were there to meet us and Holden stopped by mid week and took care of all our needs, he is a special find Chris! We hope to be back in 2026. We do our reunion every 2 years. Thank you for a very special week!

We had a group of 13 adults stay here for a fun kid free weekend away! We had the best time! The property was beautiful! It was clean and well kept! The hosts and property manager were very responsive and friendly! We loved the heated pool, hot tub and the boat. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely rent this house again in the future!

The heated poolmad a balst for kids and adults, aa it was a wee chilly.

Property is in gorgeous location and hosts are super nice and responsive to house issues. There is plenty to do and they have tried to anticipate the quests needs. Outside of house could have been cleaner upon arrival . Pollen was an issue but could have been cleaned before our arrival and pool and spa had problems but they were addressed as quickly as possible. Elevator was broken and could not be fixed and presented a slight challenge to our senior family members but we managed. Holden was super nice . All in all a lovely property and great place to bring large family. Boat is definitely a plus!

I booked this house for my collegiate lacrosse team during spring break. We were playing 3 teams all within an hour of the house! The house fit 23 of us comfortably with activities to entertain everyone!

We had a wonderful time. The home is gorgeous. It was great having 3 kitchen areas and a commercial ice maker. We built a fire, swam in the heated pool, got in the hot tub, took the kayaks out and did a polar plunge into the lake over New Year’s weekend. It was wonderful to have all our family together. The owners were great, they left us an amazing welcome basket❤️ I hope we can return at another time, maybe in the summer!!

We stayed at this amazing house over a long weekend, as a group of 17 folks, ranging from 8 to 80 years old, including a family member who was in a wheelchair (who really appreciated the elevator!).
The house and grounds were clean and extremely well maintained. Through the weekend, we maximized our time doing all the things this beautiful property had to offer, including kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake, hot tub, and lots of games & activities, both indoors and outdoors.
The common areas were really comfortable, and we enjoyed cooking and eating as a group, as well as staying up late to catch up with family! Each level and all the rooms were extremely comfortable and well equipped, and we were all really happy with our stay.
Chris and Vicki were great hosts, right from the start, and responded immediately (within minutes) when we had minor questions.
My only wish - if only we could stay longer! So it is safe to say that we're looking forward to visiting someday soon...

We rented the MacDaddy for 3 days for our family Christmas gathering. We had 17 folks ranging from 7 months to 72 years of age. There were amble bedrooms and baths for all to enjoy the privacy and comfort that they wished to have. Once we arrived, we never left until check-out day, as there were so many things to do on-site. Besides the normal eating, drinking and socializing, we played bocci, shuffleboard, pool and golf. The weather was very nice for December so we were able to do enjoy kayaking, swimming, and hot tubbing as well as fires in the firepit. We cooked all meals in-house so we made use of the excellent kitchen facilities. The house is a 10 ++ and we will certainly consider having another family Christmas gathering at the MacDaddy again.

This house is literally perfect!! We had a group of 17 and there was plenty of room for everyone! It comes with everything you could ever need!! Boat rides, paddle boarding, fishing, the pool & hot tub…we did not want to leave! Communication with Vicki and her husband couldn’t have been easier! Golf, tennis, pickleball, work out room with Peloton, kitchens, so many tvs, hot tub, swimming pool, fire pit, lake, Boat!, fishing, pool table, shuffleboard, corn hole game. All 12 children and 13 adults were fully engaged! The house is perfectly lovely. (We hid the unadvertised elevator from the kids, but really appreciated not having to haul a cooler from the garage to the upstairs kitchen!) The checkin was elegant! We definitely want to come again!

The house is beautiful. We have a large family (22 people) and there was room for everybody. The pool and hot tub were great for the little kids. The older kids hung out all week on the lake trampoline and slide. Adults enjoyed a sunset cruise each day on the very comfortable boat. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

We had such a good time at the MacDaddy!! The property was very clean and had everything we could want. The kids had fun playing on the water trampoline and all the other fun amenities. There was also plenty of seating for the adults to sit and enjoy the views. It was great to have a boat included in the rental and the location was fantastic. The owners were very nice and incredibly helpful. The property manger responded super fast to any questions or concerns we had. If you want a truly great place to vacation with your family I highly recomend the MacDaddy!

Our family (23 adults & 5 kids) celebrated our Matriarch's 85th birthday with a vacation at the MacDaddy. The property has everything you need - there's no reason to leave except for supplies. We had the pleasure of meeting Chris (one of the owners) who went out of his way to ensure that we had everything required to make our stay exceptional. Owners and property manager were very attentive and quickly addressed any concerns. The house is spectacular and has plenty of space even when full of people. The MacDaddy is the best Vrbo property that we've ever stayed at and is highly recommended by my entire family. Go Steelers!

My wife and I looked for days on end looking for a place that both our family’s could stay at for our wedding with no luck. Everyone would be sharing a bedroom and bathroom and that’s not what we wanted. Then we stumbled across the MacDaddy. We were amazed by the pictures and knew this was the one. From the time you pull in to the drive way and see the beautiful stairway leading to the front door to exploring every floor you will just be amazed to the attention of detail of the house. Everyone kept talking about how comfortable the beds were and the pillows are. Everyone enjoyed relaxing by the pool, playing corn hole, and listening to music. The one thing I would urge you to do on your stay is to get up early and enjoy a cup of coffee of the balcony and watch the sunrise honestly breathtaking. Thank you Vicki and Chris for allowing us to stay at your amazing home you two did and amazing job! We will be returning for sure!

We had 3 different family groups meet here for Thanksgiving and the house was amazing. More than enough space, beds, TVs, bathrooms, kitchen space... you name it! All of the household amenities were also fantastic. Often with rentals you get the "Walgreens cookware" but the owners really put a lot of thought and care into having the house properly stocked. Over the holidays many of the shops were closed, but we had an incredible trip! Thank you so much!

We had a fabulous time at the McDaddy for a week in November. We are a group of 8 adults and 11 kids. The heated pool and hot tub were a hit with all the kids (and adults). The dock was also used daily for fishing and some brave kids jumped in the water as well. They used the kayaks and paddle boards as well and the pontoon boat was so much fun too. There was so much to do, we could have stayed another month and been entertained. Joey, the property manager was so helpful with explaining everything about the boat and answering questions about the house. He was also able to get us in a few hours early to the house which was great after our long drive. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the house to anyone coming to the area. The house is expansive and comes with tons of “toys” including a pontoon boat, kayaks, paddle boards, water trampoline, ping pong, pool table, bocce, corn hole, golf chip & putt, shuffle board, pool and hot tub! We were a group of 16 people ages 1-83. Everyone had their own room and plenty of space to spread out. The property manager, Joe, was super nice and helpful! And the owners Vicki and Chris are so sweet and welcoming.

MacDaddy was perfect for our extended family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Having 2 kitchens (and multiple ovens) allowed us to get all the food on table at the same time - while it was still hot! And having multiple refrigerators was a necessity in order to store all the leftovers. The kitchens were well equipped with appliances, dishes, and flatware, etc.
There are so many amenities and fun activities so the kids were never bored. We loved that we were able to use the pool and hot tub in late November and roast s’mores in the fire pit after dinner.
There was a leak coming from the downstairs ice maker. Vicki responded immediately and maintenance came the same night to address the situation.
The house is clean and beautiful with high end finishes on the inside and the views are beautiful outside. We made great memories and would highly recommend this lake house.

Excellent home and hosts.
MacDaddy has everything that you could possibly need, kayaks, paddleboards, cornhole boards, gym, pool, boat, pool table, and shuffleboard table. The home was very clean with kitchen setups on all three floors. From initial booking to checking out Chris and Vicki, the owners were attentive and prompt to reply to any questions and needs. Chris met us at the house and walked us through all the key features including the new outdoor grilling area, a map of the lake highlighting all the key locations, and the best fueling spot for the boat. They checked in on us to make sure everything was working and there were no issues with the house. Without hesitation, I would book this place not only because of the home but also the great customer service from the owners.
