Our house is in the heart of Crested Butte's historic district. It was built in the early 1900’s however, we lovingly restored it over the last year, reusing materials and preserving it's quirky charm. The floors have a patina developed over almost 100 years, yet we've plugged the old windy holes that gave the old miners a chill.

After a long day of skiing you can soothe your aches and pains in the claw foot tub or run upstairs and take a quick steam shower. When you return from dinner on the town you will enjoy the radiant floor heating and can switch on the old gas fireplace. The bedrooms have great views of Gothic, Mt Crested Butte, Mt Emmons and the Bench where Crested Buttes beloved Coal was mined.

Charming, historic home in the heart of downtown Crested Butte. Steps away from restaurants, shopping, bars, and coffee shops -- there's no better location if you want to be in town. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Friendly, responsive owner.

Great house as described. Up side- location. Down side- location. Convenient to Main Street but loud being in alley off of main. Master bedroom bed needs replaced immediately, extremely uncomfortable. Temperature was in high 80’s and no air conditioning. Ceiling fans would be easy fix. Over all, good experience😊

We enjoyed staying in this charming home. We have stayed in probably 50 homes in CB and this one was just as charming as the others. We don't come to CB looking for the Ritz. We come to enjoy the mountains, hike, bike, fish, raft, shop, etc. The street was lovely and not too loud at night. Parking was great. It was clean and kept up to date....so we were happy.

Charming home

Our family was in town for a wedding, having never been to Crested Butte. We were delighted to arrive at this adorable cottage-like home nestled in the grid of streets that comprise the colorful, historic "downtown" area. Everything in the home was clean and functional - which was essential - but on top of that, all of the carefully chosen antique/upcycled pieces and carefully crafted renovations sparked joy. From the iron work circular staircase (do not recommend for disabled access), to the sliding barn-style doors, to the marble bathroom vanity and old world tiled floor - there was charm at every turn. Also, modern, attractive conveniences where they were needed, like steam shower and major appliances. Communication with host and check in were seamless, and walking access to everything (amazing shops and restaurants) except maybe the ski area doubled the enjoyment of the home. Thank you for sharing your home and making us tourists feel like we'd had an authentic Crested Butte experience.

Beautifully renovated historic home with a perfect location. Wonderfully stocked rental (everything you need in the kitchen, lots of nice towels, pillows, etc). Amazing location where you can walk everywhere downtown and half block to ski shuttle.

This is a super cute house that was perfect for our group. There is no need to drive anywhere once you make it there. We really enjoyed watching the Olympics in the very comfortable living room after a long day of skiing.

Fantastic house situated right in town. Everything conveniently located right outside the door. All restaurants on Elk street and bus to the mountain are a very short walk away. No need for a car. House very comfortable and well equipped to eat in and hang out by the fire. Highly recommend.

Location! Location! You really can not beat this location. We enjoyed walking in all the fresh snow covered to the local shops and restaurants. The house was cozy and had so many amenities. It was very well stocked! The beds were all very firm and the staircase was not for the faint at heart. We would definitely stay here again!

We've been visiting Crested Butte for years, but have never stayed in town before and this place was absolutely perfect! So easy for our teenagers to have freedom to explore town and of course we loved being steps from some of our favorite restaurant/bars on Elk Avenue. The house is so beautifully redone, as well. We will be back!

This house was perfect for our family of four. Our adult kids enjoyed having their own space upstairs. Perfect location, very short walk to everything in town. We loved hearing the live music every day from The Princess directly behind us. Daniel was very accessible and helpful. We will definitely be back to this home away from home!

We are a family of 3. Our son is 7 years old. I highly recommend staying here. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had modern appliances. I really can’t say enough good things about our stay. I was a little apprehensive because the photos don’t do it justice. But I would absolutely stay there again. I think 4 adults and 2 kids could comfortably live there. I hope this helps.

Great house right behind Main street in Crested Butte. Worth it for the shuttle stop right outside. The property was super clean, upstairs beds were FIRM (I loved it, partner didn't), the steam shower was revelatory and I will be putting one in my next house! This rental is probably best for a family with children or two couples as the sleeping loft is open just FYI. The downstairs electric fireplace was awesome after a long day on the slopes. All in all, I'd say 4.5 stars would absolutely stay here again.

Great long weekend at this little gem. Perfect size for our family of four with two small kiddos. Cozy and very well stocked. Location can’t be better. Steps from free shuttle to ski and right behind elk. Also just a couple blocks to the Nordic center where we used the sled hill and went ice skating. Kids loved playing the yard. Great house.

Best spot in town!

We walked in and we knew we found the perfect spot for a long weekend of skiing! The house is located a block away from the Main Street in town with parking in the back of the house. The floor plan was well done too with the master on the first floor and our teenagers could find their alone “chill time” upstairs. The appliances in the kitchen are all updated and came in handy as we cooked every meal at the house. The owner was courteous and kind and checked in often. We can’t wait to go back!

The home is beautifully and thoughtfully designed and remodeled. The location was ideal for easy access to restaurants, shopping and bus stop. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. We especially loved how well-equipped the kitchen was. Not an amenity was lacking. My only minor complaint would be the heating - always seemed to hot or to cold, but that might just be any older home in Crested Butte in the winter. We would absolutely come back and rent this beautiful home again.

We loved this house! The online pictures don’t do it justice, there are so many fun spaces in this charming home. Our girls (ages 12 & 14) loved having their own area up a cute, winding staircase and the location to town can’t be beat. The kitchen was well stocked too. We hope to return!

We wanted something cozy for our family and accessible within walking distance to dining and shopping. We got it all with this VRBO rental! Not only that but this house was so incredibly cute! It had beautiful interior design touches and a farmhouse feel! We had everything we needed in the kitchen and all the towels and blankets that we needed for the bedrooms. Did I mention it was beautiful? I would stay here Again and again! Cannot say enough nice things about this darling house. It also had a child’s gate and toys and plenty of room for the five of us.

I highly recommend this recent album home. Very clean and upgraded and the location is perfect, you can walk to trails and town. Daniel was easily accessible and was able to help me check in when I couldn’t find the information with my door code. The only suggestion I have is to put a table and chairs in the backyard for outside dining, the yard is lovely.
