About this house rental
Beautiful modern home in a secluded lake front setting on the public side. Private sand beach in perfect cove for swimming or laying out in the lake. Hot tub in lower deck area. Firewood provided for outdoor fireplace. Natural gas grill. Minutes away from restaurants, bars, grocery, etc. Kayak distance from the Cove, restaurant and bar. 12 feet deep at end of dock. Includes Starlink wireless internet and Dish cable with premium channels. Comes with paddle boards, canoe, kayaks, etc. Includes 4 full and 1 half baths. Rooms include 6 king beds (4 upstairs, 1 on the main floor, and 1 on the lower level), 1 queen bed on the lower level, and a bunk room with 2 full over full beds. Wake up to gorgeous sunrises over the lake with your gourmet coffee from the Miele espresso machine. Have cocktails on the huge deck and patio while the sun sets behind you casting breath-taking views over the lake. If you're the indoor type, catch up on your favorite shows on any one of our 42"+ flatscreen TVs in nearly every room, sharpen your pool game, practice your foosball, or play bartender behind the downstairs wet bar. Please inquire regarding large events as additional fees may apply or garbage, cleaning, etc. We also offer 1 or 2 jet skis for 7 day rentals. The jet skis will be waiting for you on the jet ski ramps when you show up with someone to walk you through how to operate them. Inquire for the rental prices on either 1 or 2 jet skis. Golf? We came to a wedding 39 minutes away and decided to make a week out of it. Property is well located on a quiet cove with all the toys - canoes, paddle boards, kayaks. Boat dock and fire pit were the two hangout spots. Bedrooms were comfortable and kitchen well appointed. Owner was very responsive to all our questions. All of us had a great time. Thank you!

This is a beautiful place. Great rooms with beautiful views. Kitchen was excellent-hardly had to open the big trunk of cooking stuff I bring along for all our family vacations. Enough refrigerator room for all of the stuff we were eating. Everyone enjoyed the pier and and double deck. The walkers and runners in the group loved the very private, very long drive and were out every day getting their exercise. Had a great vacation-stayed here 2 weeks.

Generally a good place to stay. Minor defects ( nonfunctioning fans, shower leak), but lots of room with beach for kids and comfortable dock. Use of jet ski for the week.

We had a lovely time at Chris's place. The place was beautiful, and it was a great space for a large group. We especially enjoyed the lake access and kayaks that were available.

A group of 8 couples joined for a weekend retreat and we had a wonderful time. There is room to spread out as well as share time together. A wonderfully well stocked kitchen and fantastic outdoor space. It was very easy to communicate with Chris, the host and he was very accommodating. Highly recommended!

We had a large group stay for an extended Easter weekend and this home is amazing! The kitchen was newly renovated and the floors in the basement were also new. Callie clearly takes care of this place. In addition, she was very fast to respond to any questions. We enjoyed evenings by the outdoor fireplace, fishing, and the canoe/kayaks. There is plenty of room for everyone to gather or have their own space. I would highly recommend Nirv'Anna to anyone looking for a beautiful and functional location for larger groups.

Perfect size and great amenities for a group of 17 adults. The owners were responsive leading up to and during our stay, answering any questions promptly. The house and grounds are quite private and offer beautiful views. The amenities (pool table, foosball table, hot tub, lake front, kayaks/canoes/SUPs) were all in great working order and led to a lot of fun. Our group all agreed that we would love to plan another trip to Nirv'Anna!

Our team of 7 had a 3 day work retreat and loved the space at Nirv'Anna. Everyone had their own room and the living space was great for having an all day meeting. This was our second year utilizing the space for our meeting and we hope to continue every year.
Calli and Chris were very responsive before, during and after our departure.

We had such an amazing time for Thanksgiving with family and friends! The house is very nice, has a beautiful view from the lake and the boat house is also a nice place to have a cup of coffee.

We loved the property. The location was a piece of heaven. My family fished from the private pier, canoed, played corn hole, card games, board games, grilled and cooked. It was a great fit for our family. A memorable vacation.

We just finished our family vacation and had a wonderful time. There were 16 of us ranging from 5-68. Our kids and grandchildren loved the paddle boards, kayaks and canoe. The house was clean, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable! The owners were easy to contact and very helpful with information and making golf tee times. We highly recommend this house

We had an amazing week at Nir'Anna. A great house well appointed with all the necessities. The house layout allowed for several different locations for a large group to gather yet all couples could still have their own private space. We only used the outdoor fireplace once but it was fabulous! Not sure what was going on with the jacuzzi (outdoor) but the mildew odor did not allow for us to use it but once. We enjoyed every aspect of the lakefront though and had so much quality time gathered on the dock.

Lovely home , beautiful landscaping, large deck and patio for outdoor enjoyment. Gas fire pit wasn't in working order but the built-in fireplace was nice and worked well for s'mores. Lots of outdoor seating which was nice. No Keurig coffee machine as mentioned but there is a built in espresso machine and drip coffee maker.
Our family had a great time, playing games in the yard, gathering for meals on the deck, canoeing and kayaking, and the kids loved jumping in the water off of the top deck of the boathouse.
All of the beds were comfortable except for one and the host said they would be replacing that one.

Second time we’ve stayed at this house. The house is great. The property and lake front amenities are fantastic. Chris and Cali are VERY responsive and help make the stay perfect. Will definitely rent again!

We had our daughters wedding at this lovely home and it was beautiful! When we checked in, there were a few issues with the decking and patio due to some recent storms and the owner was super responsive and kind. She acted quickly and had someone out the very next day that remedied all issues. Her communication was wonderful and it put me much more at ease given our daughters wedding was the very next day. I would definitely recommend!

Excellent property with well stocked kitchen. Stayed three nights in December with my mother, brother and sister, and our seven children [ages 14 to 24]. The power went out one evening for about 40 minutes, but the generator kicked on immediately and kept the main floor powered.
We had space for puzzles and board games. Some learned how to play pool and others soaked in the hot tub.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time together in this beautiful house.

We had 18 family members at this home. There was plenty to do with the paddle boards, kayaks, hot tub, pool table, and plenty of games for the children. The yard worked great for football and kickball. The adults enjoyed the outside fireplace. It was too cold for the jet skis.

This is the second of Chris’s properties we’ve stayed at. Fantastic! House is great! Did a lot of fishing from the dock which was in great shape. Kids loved the mini beach with canoe, standing paddle boards, and kayaks! Highly recommend. Very likely we’ll be staying at this property again.

House was great for our group and would recommend to others. Only real caveat would be if members plan to work from the house the wifi was constantly kicking people off and not loading things.

Stayed at many rental homes over the years and almost all have been oversold with pictures that are obviously outdated. After arriving and inspecting the property that was not the case here. What you see is what you get, it was clean and well maintained with great little extras like putting small labels on cabinets in the kitchen, light switch's, etc. made it really easy to settle in.
The kitchen was well appointed with good quality items and surprises like a emersion blender and high end blender. It had enough of everything (cups , plates , cookie sheets, cutting boards, flatware....) The ice maker was great bonus and worked well. Beds were very good, fire places (gas) work well.
We kept expecting the "ah ha" moment when something didn't work or was shoddy, this never happened. 10 minutes by car to the boat launch 20 to Food Lion.
I highly recommend this place, Chris (the owner) was a pleasure to deal with. We were there for five nights and met two of the neighbors who were very nice. This is a wonderful house and location. Hoping to return next year once we agree on the dates.

Perfect property and location for big family vacation !

The house, property, location were all wonderful. The kids (ages 8-36) had a blast jumping off the dock and jet skiing. Everyone enjoyed swimming and floating around in the lake, and everyone from infant to 83 yo enjoyed the pontoon rides. It was a great family vacation. There were some maintenance issues with cleanliness of the property and basic wear on the house. When we were leaving a crew of people were getting ready to power wash and landscape and fix some of the broken things. It is unfortunate that these things were not done before our visit, but it did not stop us from having a great time. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful location and great lake
The house setting was wonderful. The dock and dock house bot wonderful as well. We were disappointed with the internet going in and out. The owners were responsive but still had poor internet signal. Also, the clothes dryer stopped working. Again the owners responded but nothing was able to be done until after our stay - disappointing especially with 7 kids under 12.

Great place for a family vacation.
Very pleased with the house, the boathouse, kayaks, beach, etc. We had grandkids from 4 to 20 and all of them had plenty to do. We rented a pontoon boat for two days from a marina and a jet ski from the owner for three days which added to the things to do. My only complaint was that the master bedroom had two french doors facing the deck where there was a lot of activity with only very sheer curtains, so the privacy of that bedroom was poor. Shades or heavy curtains are a must and should be installed.

The property is beautiful. We were very disappointed when we arrived. We had to vacuum the kitchen and dining room. The house needs some TLC and lots of paint. We contacted the property owner because the basement shower didn't work. He told meet pull out the handle. The water did not work in the shower. When I sent a reply he didn't answer. Sad to see the house is not what the pictures show.

relaxing vacay
Property had plenty of amenities, games, all of the kitchen items you need, ice machine, coffee makers and a blender, outdoor seating, and lake "toys" . Bring your own floats and outdoor games.
We had an issue with the air conditioning and the owner had very fast responses and the AC repair happened the next day.
I reached out to inform the owner of the dirt/ cobwebs (needs power washing) and overgrown landscaping and she said she would have that taken care of soon. The bathroom on the first level is nice but small to share between 2 bedrooms, no space to put bathroom items for storage. There is a kitchenette downstairs so that can limit the amount of stair climbing. There was even a second refrigerator/ freezer in garage and brand new laundry units.
Overall, i would stay there again!! Stellar location and great customer service!

Perfect event house
We just had a two day event at this beautiful property. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this house and the owners. Everything was just amazing: the house, the boat house, the lake and the communication with Chris was fantastic and really made our event spectacular. Thank you!

Perfect weekend getaway on the water
We had 4 families. One grandma, 8 parents, and 8 children. So a total of 17 and everyone was comfortable. The place is beautiful inside and out and the kids were in the water as early as they were allowed out and would have stayed outside all day if we let them. Lots of exercise for those who like water or yard games and lots of space to relax for those who just want to take it easy. Plenty of bathrooms so no waiting in lines or accidents and plenty of fridge space for drinks and food. Plenty of seating inside and out, everything we needed and more in the kitchen. And it was close to stores in case anyone forgot anything. It was the perfect getaway. Thanks for the wonderful communication and easy process!

Fun friends & family getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at Nirvana. Great space for friends and family. We had everything we needed throughout our stay. Enjoyed the deck, kayaks, and firepit. However, the outside definitely could have used maintenance before our arrival. The grass was very long and the trees out front were covering the entire walkway to the front door. We paid a non-refundable fee for 2 small Yorkie dogs and they could hardly get around in the tall grass. A railing was broken on the deck that was not tended to prior to our stay. I contacted the host and the lawn got mowed a day later. We cooked dinner at the house every night and the kitchen appliances weren't the best/easiest to use, but we made due. Had some issues with the TV and internet not working properly, not the best service...but we did not use it that much. Overall we had a great time!

Great Location
Pros:
* location- You have access to a larger part of the lake, but the cove is quiet and you are comfortable swimming and playing around. There are no algae blooms there!
* lake toys- the SUPs, kayak, and canoe were a lot of fun. The double dock was a hit and we had a ton of fun jumping off the top.
* # of bathrooms- it was great that we never had to coordinate showers.
* owners are in frequent contact
* nice layout of house
Cons
* Cleanliness- it didn't seem that clean. The floors were swept or vacuumed, but the area rugs were filthy. There were spills on the kitchen tile floor that were really obvious. The previous renters left two cans of garbage under the counter filled up. There were left over pieces of tape on the walls and bits of crepe paper hanging from the stairwell. We found cereal and spilled milk on one of the tables outside. There were a ton of flies in the house and we had to buy a fly swatter. Lastly, there were cigarettes out on the yard.
*Needs minor work- The railing on the outside stairwell fell off because screws are missing. The fridge door handles are really loose. The chairs on the upper dock don't have seats! The grill's burner tubes need some seriously cleaning! The flame only comes up through the back so although the grill is large, you can't cook much. The batteries in the TV remotes are low and we had to switch batteries from other remotes to use the TV.
* There is a massive wasp problem on the dock. We got stung and had to buy wasp spray. We saw at least 4 different places where the wasps had made nests.
* The beach- The beach area is halfway overgrown with grass and weeds. That part is not able to be used.
* The paddle boat was broken on arrival and the SUPs were not stored properly.
* There are cameras we weren't told about
*The dock latter is loose
* dishwasher door is broken
* chairs don't fit dining tables
A lot of these things didn't interfere with our fun, but once the house is booked and you have access to the rental agreement, you'll notice the rules are really strict. We're left wondering why the cleaners didn't clean up from the renters before us, and if lack of time was an issue, why we were neglected to be told that the house would not be in proper condition.
I did let the owners know about the cigarettes and the garbage because we don't want to be charged for that, but if I had let them know about every issue, I would have felt like I was nagging.
