About this house rental
Centrally located on Kiawah Island, this home offers the perfect combination of relaxation and fun. As part of the Ocean Green community, it is only a short 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach, and has access to the neighborhood community pool.
Drive up to a classic Kiawah beach-style house, with a sizable front porch. When entering this beautiful home, you walk into the main level sporting a spacious open floor plan with traditional yet modern feel. Enjoy the comfortable furniture while watching the flat-screen TV. A half bathroom sits right off of this living space.
Gather around the dining room table with seating for six, which opens up to the wood-crafted kitchen area with updated appliances. The granite countertops expand throughout the kitchen allowing for additional barstool seating. Take in the beautiful sights from the windows at any time of the day or step out onto the screened-in back porch that overlooks hole #18 on the Turtle Point Golf Course.
The master bedroom is conveniently located on the main level and is furnished with a king bed and has access to the back porch. This room contains a full private bathroom containing his and her sinks, a beautiful vanity, a modern style soaking tub, and walk-in shower.
**As of Spring 2022, all new mattresses have been updated in the home.**
Head upstairs to another cozy sitting room with a TV and game table; perfect for a relaxing evening in. The first guest bedroom, just off of this sitting area, is furnished with two queen beds and a private bathroom, containing dual sinks and a walk-in shower. Location was excellent. The house needs some refreshing and updating. We rented chairs but when we arrived there were chairs left in the garage. Would be helpful to clearly state whether there are chairs or not so you don't need to unnecessarily rent. Overall great trip.

Great week at Kiawah with my family and their significant others . Great location! Would recommend to anyone with a large family. Also, dog friendly which was nice too.

The location to the beach was excellent and the location on a quiet cul de sac added to the relaxing atmosphere. The interior configuration allowed a family of 7 to exist in the same vicinity of each other without stumbling over each other

Perfect in every way for us! 7 minute walk to beach and Turtle Point Golf Club house. Tennis courts were nearby. We had a great charter fishing event on the Kiawah River from the nearby boat launch area, Golf outings, catered dinners by Pampered Palate, and kayaking! We will return!
Hot showers for all 8 of us every day with no lack of hot water! Fully stocked Kitchen! Great beds, dining area, screened porch, BBQ grill, cable reception, WIFI, ample parking for up to 6 cars, awesome AC, everything we wanted and more!

Husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary and had our kids and grandkids with us! House was very nice. Loved how we could all spread out if we wanted to, large bedrooms and sitting room upstairs for the kids and their kids and 1st floor for us! Kitchen well equipped and lovely screened in porch overlooking the 18th hole of Turtle Point! Property management great to work with too!!

We had a nice stay, but had a strange (mildew probably) smell in one of the guest bedrooms I called the property manager immediately and they said they would bring a dehumidifier, but never did. At this price, we also would’ve expected more updated furnishings.

We loved everything about this property! The screened in porch & golf views were awesome. Excellent location to walk or bike to beach. Huge bedrooms & updated baths.

The house was fine but the construction across the street was unbearably noisy...they had a backhoe breaking up the concrete driveway, dropping the large chunks of concrete into a dump truck, then using the backhoe to break it up further once in the dump truck...all day each day...starting at 7:25am. Security and KICA said it was fine as it was allowed within their rules. NO ONE informed us of this ahead of time. We would have never agreed to it.

This is a really nice house in a great location with a short walk to beach. Nice amenities.
A few issues - no washcloths, no extra kitchen trash bags, not enough dishwasher detergent, not enough toilet paper. Besides all of that, I would definitely stay there again.

4 Silver Moss is a solid 4 star rental home. I really liked the bedroom layout and felt like all families in the house (me, husband, baby, and two sets of grandparents) had their own privacy. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to make several meals at home. I definitely recommend bringing extra kitchen towels if this is the case for you, too (we did). The 18th hole of Turtle Point is in the backyard which was fun for our baby to wave to the passing golfers and an easy walk to our tee time in the morning. The walk to the beach was quick and easy for everyone. The screened in back porch was perfect for hanging out and the grill worked as expected. The two HVAC systems were a nice touch. Washer and dryer are huge! We had a few property issues (clogged drains and leaky toilet) that property management resolved quickly. Sweetgrass was very professional and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall great location
+ Location is great; short 5 minute walk to the beach! The kitchen is very functional. The upstairs layout is practical and the bathrooms are fantastic.
- The beds are extremely soft and the furniture has seen some wear. We didn't find the couch and chairs very comfortable for sitting and watching TV.

Great stay!
It was a very comfortable house overall. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes. The screened in porch is very nice. Some of the furniture could stand to be updated. The couch in the main den has been well loved. But the house was stocked well and we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location in a good neighbors hold with lovely accomodations
We have been going to Kiawah Island for 20 years now and absolutely love this house and location. The home was very clean Inna wonderful neighborhood. We enjoyed the close walk to the beach and the community pool.

Wonderful Getaway
We had a great week on Kiawah Island, one of our favorite places to bring family together. The location is a quick bike ride to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the home. The extra living space upstairs was perfect for our 2 young grandchildren to spread out. We used the community pool several times finding very few others making use of it.
My only comment for future folks is one of the rooms with 2 double beds has spring mattresses and would probably be better suited to young folks who don't care so much.

Great home & location
We have rented many homes in the Ocean Green neighborhood over the years and this is our favorite home! Ocean green homes are in a terrific location..easy walk to the beach, Sancturay and Turtle Point Clubhouse
.The open layout for our family worked so well. Family members enjoyed the upstairs family room as a place to get away as well as make business calls. Furniture was comfortable, including all mattresses and pillows...we are picky about mattresses too. The kitchen is small, but has a pantry for all staples we brought .Everything needed for cooking was available. We will be renting this home again in the future

Stunning home and property - Excellent location
Spotlessly clean home on a quiet street. The house was exactly as we hoped it would be from the photos and descriptions. In fact, we liked the home so much that we extended our stay. The beach was an easy walk and the pool was at the end of the block. The Sweetgrass Properties managers were helpful, friendly, responsive and professional.
I will say that I did not read the listing carefully and did not realize that there weren't beach towels or beach chairs. That was not a problem, but because Sweetwater Properties helped us find a company that rented beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. You can also have bikes delivered to the property.
If we return to Kiawah, I would rent this lovely property again.

My family rented this home together for a family wedding and it had everything we needed. We liked that the location was a short walk or bike ride to the beach. The beach was expansive and uncrowded which was great.
The mattresses were a bit sloped towards the middle in the "purple" room, otherwise I would give this property 5 stars.

COMFORTABLE HOME, AN EASY TRANSITION FROM OUR HOME
We have stayed at this rental for a month for 2 years. The home is very comfortable and functional. It is well maintained , well furnished and well equipped. This quiet location provides easy access to Kiawah's bike trails, the beach, the community pool, golf course and restaurants on the island . The property management is the best we have ever experienced. Housekeeping and managers response is always quick, polite, and professional. We are returning in 2018.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 4 Silver Moss Circle
We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The location was perfect. We could watch the golfers playing directly behind the house from the screened porch. It also was a short 5 - 10 minute walk to the beach. The home is located in a cul-de-sac, so the traffic is limited, which was nice. We would only suggest a few things for the kitchen. There are only 3 regular size spoons in the silverware. When you have children with you, the soup/serving size spoons are much too big for their little mouths. There are no lids for the pots and pans. I had to prop a plate on top of a pan to cover it. There are very few plastic storage containers for left-overs. I think there were only 1 or 2 medium containers (with no lids) and several tiny ( 2" X 3") containers. Lastly, it would be helpful to know what items can be recycled. We ended up putting plastics, cans, cardboard, and glass in the recycling bin. We were unsure if all of that is acceptable. That being said, we would definitely recommend this home for a wonderful stay in Kiawah Island!

Well we are back home in the midst of the holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year, with family. We spent a lot of time and conversation reflecting on Kiawah 2016. Our daughters, our son-in-laws, grandchildren, brothers and sisters all spent a couple of days with us during our first 2-weeks in Kiawah. The second 2-weeks were pure R and R. There is no need to elaborate on how easy that is in Kiawah, and what Kiawah provides.
Initially, making the decision to move to a new rental home, 4 Silver Moss Circle, was a bit uneasy. With your help and our first day at the property we were at ease. Thank you for your patience and input. Over the past few years we have had great success with Sweetgrass. I expect that it will continue. I expect that we will again be talking about 4 Silver Moss Circle again, unless something changes.
Sweetgrass’ staff (office, property managers and housekeeping) all do an excellent job and make themselves available; they leave you alone but are there when you need them. Always responsive and always friendly.
