We have just spent a nice week in Fort Augustus staying at The Dell. We were a family of 8, ranging from 23 to 83. The property was a great size, full of character and nicely laid out. A little tired on places but still lovely. Large living room which meant the fire needed to be lit each evening for warmth. Could possibly benefit from another tv as not everyone wanted to watch the same programme but my ipad did the trick most evenings! Lots of bathrooms as 4 bedrooms were en-suite which was great. Property is in a great location for walking to the village and for day trips to surrounding areas. Loved using the Aga in the kitchen as well. The boathouse restaurant is beautiful and would highly recommend a visit. Great value for money and would recommend this property for large groups.

Lovely cottage, lovely area.
Lovely cottage, lovely area. The turn on the stairs can be a bit tricky for anyone with mobility problems, but the downstairs bedroom was a huge bonus for us. No other problems, this was a great place for 7 of us to stay, with lots of room. We would definitely recommend the Dell.
