I managed to book as a special treat for our wedding anniversary, due to someone cancelling, when we arrived we were greeted by Simone the owner, a very nice and honest lady, she gave us a verbal tour of the area and introduced us to her pet sheep -( Larry and Mo ) and her 3 old English Sheep dogs, social distancing was observed
On entering the property we were delighted to see there were all that we needed and more, we only needed to bring food and clothes , everything else was supplied, right down to the shower gel.
Now the walk down to Aberystwyth... the best way we found was walking down the lane and catching the funicular railway back up and walking round the fields, the walk back up the lane is not a fun walk 掠 ( we tried it once )... but it will cost u £4.50 single each person... the best £9 spent .
The views from the cottage is amazing well worth the visit, we will definitely return

The cottage was in a superb location, very quiet but a 15 minute walk to the promenade. The cottage was spotlessly clean and decorated and furnished to a high standard. Alan was very helpful and the views were amazing. Everything you could wish for from a home from home.

Extremely well presented cottage.
Extremely well presented cottage. Very comfortable, and warm in such cold weather! The welcome 'goodies' were much appreciated. One of our best cottages from 'Country Cottages'. Would stay again, but hopefully in better weather to appreciate the surrounding walks and views!

A super few days away exploring autumnal Aber. Enjoyed a warm welcome and lovely welcome pack on arrival, before nestling in to my home from home. A must at ANY time of the year. Perfect for a little getaway and a sea air blow! We’ll be back ... AGAIN!

Very pleased with the accommodation which is situated in an excellent position overlooking the town and harbour. A shame that the restaurant/cafe on the cliffs does not open in the evenings.
Accommodation was excellent and we found everything we needed. The hosts, Alan and Simone were excellent and provided any information we needed.

A fabulous location - the feeling of being miles away with a beautiful view, yet only a 5 min hop down into Aber. Comfortably furnished. Our son loved Netflix but like all his generation would have liked an even bigger TV and set lower down. Friendly owners who helped us feel at ease. Kitchen so well equipped that little room for food storage, but great to have large fridge / freezer. Lots of activities nearby - beach, bike trails, cliff railway, VR Land. Would definitely recommend and would come back.
