Lovely warm cosy cottage with excellent facilities inside and out. Friendly helpful owners.
We used it as a base to walk the southern half of The Viking Way, couldn’t be better positioned.
Thank you.

Lovely cottage.
Lovely cottage. Very peaceful rural location yet close to Lincoln, Newark and Grantham. Friendly owners next door. Local pub 5 minutes drive/30 minutes walk away with well kept beer and standard pub food.

We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage.
We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. The owners were helpful and yet discreet. Amenities are not too close.
Ie: Pub is not a comfortable walk, particularly in the dark. The shop is a ten minute drive, but hey! you are in the middle of the country - and for that it is great.

Had a fantastic holiday hear after definitely needing some time to relax. Plenty to see and do around the county and a beautiful, cosy cottage to return to afterwards. What's not to like?

Lovely cottage, in a peaceful countryside setting.
Lovely cottage, in a peaceful countryside setting. Wonderfully equipped, with everything you would ever need. Fully enclosed garden, looking onto fields, so great if you have Children/dogs.
Would recommend and hopefully re- visit too. Loved the thoughtful welcome pack, thank you for having us.

We were made at home from the start by Jean and Ian with a most generous welcome pack.
We were made at home from the start by Jean and Ian with a most generous welcome pack. Ostler's Cottage is out on its own in the Lincolnshire countryside but within easy reach of main trunk roads which makes it quiet and peaceful for a relaxing break but a good centre from which to explore the area.
The cottage was spacious, clean, well equipped, warm and had plenty of hot water. There was an outside patio area and ample parking.
The owners are on site and available to sort any problems if there had been any.
We had a lovely holiday and would stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Beautiful and cosy cottage in lovely location
The cottage is really well equipped and tastefully presented. Lots of thoughtful touches and amazing attention to detail. We enjoyed lovely cosy evenings by the wood-burning stove. We have stayed in lots of cottages over the years, but this must be one of the best. There are lots of places to visit in the area, we enjoyed the relaxing and peaceful location.
