With 2,800 square feet of space on two levels, this beach home comfortably accommodates up to nine people. The many windows give you an ocean view from just about every room - anyone who loves the coast will feel right at home here!
The lower level has the kitchen, dining room, and living areas. At this home, a windy winter storm can be just as beautiful and fun to watch as a colorful summer sunset - this is an amazing house to visit during any season.
The bright and open full kitchen has everything needed to prepare delicious meals, including a refrigerator, freezer, Jenn-Air range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. There is even a bell in the kitchen to call everyone together for a nice sit-down breakfast before a refreshing morning walk on the beach!
The lower level also has a main bedroom, the “Captain’s Quarters” with a comfortable gel foam mattress. This is an easy access bedroom for anyone who may have trouble climbing stairs. The Captain’s Quarters also has a smart TV with cable. The lower level has a full bathroom off the living area and a laundry room.
The upper level features an entertainment room and an upper deck for relaxing and viewing beach traffic. Two bedrooms feature beds with comfortable gel foam mattresses. The upstairs main bedroom has floor-to-ceiling windows that provide breathtaking oceanfront views. This room also has sliding glass doors that provide access to the upstairs deck.
The entertainment room has a 65-inch smart TV with cable - bring your Netflix account! High-speed cable internet and WiFi provide fast connectivity for video streaming, online gaming, surfing the web, and checking your email while on vacation. This room also has a door to the upstairs deck.
Head outside to the large deck to enjoy the fresh ocean air and listen to the relaxing sounds of crashing waves. Plenty of outside seating and the gas grill make the deck a wonderful sunny place to spend the day enjoying the oceanfront! Be sure to bring along your kites, beach gear, and binoculars.

Great site. Excellent accommodations for multi-generations. Only downsides were 1) Dishwasher not getting dishes clean enough 2) Outside gas range very difficult to light 3) Upstairs tub to shower process not very easy to figure out. But we all had a terrific time.

Had 3 generations of adults in the house. Enough room to spread out, cook together, eat together and still have separate bedrooms. Beach access is unbeatable. Easy walking. Plenty of kitchen equipment. We’re hoping to return.

The house it outdated and in need of some major attention. There aren’t any screens in the master bedroom so we couldn’t keep any of the windows open at night for air movement and we sweat through our sheets every night. The kitchen was dirty and none of the dishes were clean. It kind of stinks to have to start a vacation cleaning. The house smells moldy and the carpets were dirty and worn out. Half the blinds in the kids bedrooms were busted and couldn’t be closed. The washer and dryer made all of our clothes smell like mildew. They didn’t have enough dishes/glassware and their basics were pretty basic. Make sure to bring your own salt and pepper.
That being said, it wasn’t all bad. The views are sensational and the beach is easy to get to. Getting into the house was a breeze. I feel like if the owners just put a little money back into it (and god knows with what we paid for five days, they can afford it)…this place would be five stars.

We came for my 43rd birthday to relax and get away from everyday stress. We absolutely loved it. We did not want to leave. The view was amazing, the house was amazing, Clean and had everything we needed. I absolutely loved the decor.

It isn't easy to find a location like this on the OR or WA coast. It really is just steps from the sand, and offers a great view of the beach both for viewing pleasure and for keeping an eye out if your kids are old enough to be on the beach alone. The house had almost everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. It was more than spacious enough with eight people. We appreciated that the television was on a different floor than the dining room and main living area. We were also surprised to have more than enough beach and kitchen towels, which is unusual in our experience. We also appreciated the tub of water outside the door for rinsing feet and shoes. The only problems were very minor: one of the lamp shades was broken and couldn't be placed on the lamp; a few window blinds were broken; there was no dishwasher detergent (or laundry detergent, but we expected that); there was only enough toilet paper for half our stay. Overall, the house was wonderful and we would definitely book it again if visiting Rockaway Beach.

Our trip to Rockaway Beach was NOT disappointing in any way. We got to the house and instantly fell in love with it. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and very accommodating. Then there was the view, absolutely stunning and breath taking. I would highly recommend staying here. The house is beautiful, there is plenty of space for family and friends, easy access to the beach, and the best thing is being able to enjoy the ocean. Can't wait to come back.

The view, the layout, the furnishings, the location, etc. were all wonderful for this vacation home. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Easy access to the beach for long walks. All of the cooking utensils we needed to prepare meals. Sleeping arrangements worked perfectly for our group. Lots of space, including two living rooms so groups could separte if desired. It was secluded enough to enjoy without disturbances from neighbors but close enough to everything you need. Could walk into town if you wanted. I would love to give this location a 5 start rating but we did have two issues: 1 - the cleaners could pay more attention to cleanliness, we felt like we needed to wash pots and pans before we could use them. 2 - the fireplace was not operational, given that it was a stormy weekend, using the fireplace would have made the ambiance even better than it already was. We will definately save this location as one we would return to.

The view of the waves what is the biggest selling point of this home. Obviously pet friendly as there is a mild odor of dog in the property. Great access for our elderly grandparents with limited mobility that joined us for the weekend. We had a wonderful time until we were loading the car and getting ready to check out. Somebody stole our suitcases out of the car in the driveway while we were in the house and gathering more items to pack. Vacasa was unable to notify the owner in a timely manner to review security footage Of the driveway. It even mentions in the listing that there are security cameras on the driveway. So we were unable to provide the police with any description of who robbed us. The memories were priceless, but losing $2000 worth of our personal items stung a bit. Be sure to lock up your personal items at all times!

We really enjoy the location of this house. Can’t beat the view and the beach access. We love that the deck has been re-done since our last visit. It was beautiful.
A couple of pieces of feedback. The remote doesn’t work upstairs, which means our children were unable to use that tv for anything. The beds are uncomfortably hard/bad, and the pillows are worthless. Also, we were unable to check in until an hour after our check-in time, but we have a very strict checkout time of 10am. Seems to be a bit of a double standard.

The house was large and well equipped. However, the cleanliness wasn’t what we had hoped. The BBQ didn’t work. The fireplace in the pictures on the ad was out of order, and our bed collapsed so we had to sleep with our mattress on the floor for the last 3 nights.

There was a baby beach instead of a yard which gave the children loads of play opportunities when we didn’t want to go to the mommy beach, although that too was wonderful. I also liked that the tv was in a sitting room upstairs instead of on the main floor. Nice break from media. This was just a pleasant experience all around!

We were looking for a low key vacation to unwind after a chaotic year. This perfectly fit our agenda. Steps from the sand. Enough room for the 8 of us to have our own space, then reconvene for meals, and games. Two families of 4, plus a doggo. Spectacular evening views.
The kitchen is well stocked. We added some glassware to the complement. Rockaway Beach is super low key. Exactly what we were looking for. It was an easy trip to Tillamook and Cannon. Tons of incredibly scenic hiking are in easy access. We loved our stay, and so did our pup. This stretch of beach has low traffic. Quiet neighborhood. The entire town is walkable.

Amazing view!
The view takes your breath away as soon as you walk in! The place was immaculate & well stocked. We had a small issue with the washer to which the management property group was onsite within 15 minutes of our call. We will definitely return in warmer weather to enjoy the lovely deck!

Wonderful, spacious house for people who enjoy a counter height dining table which may not be appropriate for small children or physically challenged adults. All the bedrooms are very large and an additional activity room upstairs with another fantastic view.
