The kitchen has a full size stove, refrigerator w/freezer, and microwave and is furnished down to the dishes, pots and pans. Keurig and traditional coffee makers, pots and pans, silverware and all the usual kitchen items are also present in the cabinets. If you find that you need something more in the kitchen, be certain to ask me, as I keep all kinds of ‘kitchen things’ available for guests convenience.

A nice stay. Met our needs for the weekend. Communication with property manager was quick and accurate. There were some minor cosmetic things wrong with the property and a few light bulbs out but otherwise satisfactory. A slight musty smell.

We rented this property to attend a show at the shed in Maryville TN. It served its purpose for us, it is very simple but was clean. I will say the neighborhood is not the best I don’t think I would have wanted to stay there with just a group of girls or anything. I loved how simple the check in process was though.

Awesome cottage
This property is located in a really quiet neighborhood… my family of 6 stayed very comfortable and was easily located to the things we were doing in Knoxville…. I would highly recommend this to anyone… we stayed 9 days and can certainly say our stay was a success…. Thanks again

NO JUST DO NO STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!! Crack house on the corner, not safe and completely disgusting.
This home should never be rented again! There are no smoke detectors or any other safety equipment that was listed as being there. The entire place was filthy! Microwave was dirty, dishwasher and potholders had food on them. Ice cream in the freezer. Living room carpet was disgusting, thick dust and dead bugs behind the couch. Bathroom had mold in the grout, dust and cobwebs. Master bedroom had bodily fluid stained sheets. Every other bed had pubic hair or clumps of hair in the bedding. One pillow had blood on the actual pillow. Bugs in the Queen room at the corner of bed between mattress and box springs. I had to wash bedding so my kids could sleep on the cleanest “bed” we could find, which happened to be the couch! There were clothes in the master bedroom closet. We also did not feel safe staying here. There is a house that is just a few houses down that had people coming in and out 24 hours a day. We were there for our daughters college graduation so naturally things were already booked up because of tons of graduations. However we did find somewhere to stay our last night. We packed up and got out of there while it was still daylight. The owner, nor Vrbo seem too concerned. Owner says we should have let her know when we arrived. Evidently it didn’t matter before we arrived. Even the yard is grown up. Needs to be cleaned out all the way around the fence line. The steps to the house are ridiculous! I’m sure there is much more. I have never been so disappointed in a home, owner or BRBO

Disaster
Got to the place ant the sinking concrete steps along with the broken metal gate are a hazard. Dirty property with only one functioning TV. Drugs addicts across the street kept eyeing up and pointing at us, not a safe area. Left within two hours for a hotel. Don't know who was paid to give previous reviews, but this was a train wreck.

Sketchy, horrible neighborhood. We had to sleep with 1 eye open. Blocked the doors with tables and luggage. Neighboor homes abandoned and in poor condition diction, the kitchen window had the outside frame vent as if there was an attempt to break I'm the home. Appliances were top of the line but no access to linen and the trunks had padlocks. There was a cow urine and feces smell in the kitchen. Rat, foul putrid stench deadbeat like. Told that toiletries were supplied for a day and then we were responsible for the rest of the stay, including toilet paper, paper towels soaps and dish washing soaps. Pictures of surroundings and property misleading. The photos do not show the houses nearby that appear as drug houses and 5 times during our stay vehicles would park in Fri t of house and our truck wait for about minute and then leave as if staking the place out to rob.

Smoky Mt Vaca
Nice home. Very comfortable beds after long days of doing the tourist things. Couldn't get two of the bedroom TVs to connect. The biggest thing for me, that I didn't like, were the lights outside the doors that stayed on all night and attracted the flying insects and you had to walk through them every time you opened the doors. Loved the roosters and chickens roaming about the neighborhood.

Outside stairs were very steep, slanted forward so hard to carry things up stairs. Chain link fence in poor shape, many sharp edges. Many of the houses around the house were in very poor condition most did not mow their lawns, some were abandoned.There are chickens and roosters roaming around all the time and very noisy. The inside was fine, and clean. Awful neighborhood.

Convenient location in Knoxville
My friends and I came to Knoxville for school and this location was perfect for us. Property was very clean and all the appliances were very nice. Location was great for getting to the South College campus as well as downtown. Would definitely book this location again.

I would never do it again at any price.
This was the worst property I have stayed in with VRBO. There was a review that stated the home accommodated a wheel chair. There are 16 pretty tough steps to enter the house. My elderly in-laws chose to stay in as apposed to fighting the steps each day. This house can not accommodate a wheel chair or the handicapped. I'm not real sure if it was a legitimate review. There was an issue on arrival with the heater, 55 degrees inside the house, but the maintenance man was pretty quick to remedy that problem after a couple of hours. The sheets to the beds were stained in multiple areas with what I assume is body fluids. Long human hairs littered the pillows and sheets as well on all the beds.(I have pics). My wife washed all the sheets twice to give us all some sense of security that they were clean. Each morning we were greeted with roosters crowing from under the bathroom window. They get up early too. (I have pics). The neighborhood was quiet until the weekend and Friday night was filled with music and partying by the neighbors. The bass was so low that it shook the house from 1:00 till about 3:30 am. We finally had enough and left Saturday morning and paid for another VRBO to complete our trip.

Nice home, but bring your essentials
There was seven of us staying in this home, which included three adults, two teenagers, and two younger children. The home was clean and the door code was sent to me a couple of days in advance, so there were no issues there. The neighborhood is humble, but we felt it was just fine. However, there were only two dishwashing pods and we went through a lot of dishes with seven people, as you can imagine with 7 people. There is a washer and dryer, but no laundry detergent was provided. There were salt and pepper shakers that were completely empty. The cookware is definitely not nonstick and wasn’t even very clean. The cookware was also not in good shape. Better cookware that is clean would be recommended for the future. Additionally, the description said the table seats four (4) people, but there were only three (3) chairs and none of them were very stable. The bunk beds are very creaky and the other beds were not very comfortable. I woke up every morning with my back killing me. There should have been ice salt available to use, seeing as to how it is winter and we experienced a lot of ice and snow during our stay. The stairs are too uneven and steep to not be salted. Lastly, there should be enough paper products (toilet paper and paper towels) available for the entire stay. That’s not too much to ask for the price we paid. However, like I said, the home was clean when we arrived, so no complaints there. If improvements were made, we would stay in this home again. Thank you.

Most of the house was clean but the kitchen drawers were filthy. Some of the dishes, pots, and pans had visible food particles on them. I was very surprised midway on the 2nd day when I raised the blinds in the king that the lower sash had no glass—only poorly taped in card board. The owner did respond quickly to send over a shower curtain (there wasn’t one when we arrived) and because I had inquired about the availability of a pressure cooker, she had a brand new instant pot at the house.

Perfect location for Smoky Mountains in fall
The house was perfect for our two families to stay. We were able to drive into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg each day. Having a bed for every one and a kitchen made our stay perfect!

Great get away
Went away for fiancé and my birthday. It's on the same day. Wanted peace and quiet. Wanted to go somewhere different and nobody know us. And that's exactly what we got. It was so clean inside and outside the property. May have had just a few minor hiccups for upkeep on outside property but was not the fault of the property owner. Overall I got my peace and rest. Felt like I was visiting a friends house. Felt like home.
Neighbors didn't bother you. No loud noise. First time in Knoxville. I will return in the near future. Love the quick communication the property owner had. Within the hour or maybe 30 minutes or so, response came back. Love it. Worth every dollar. Thanks Shelia.
