We enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was a perfect place to stay.
Quiet and relaxing when we needed it but also places to go close by also.
Would definitely recommend.

We like the one room compact cabin, perfect for 2 seniors. Nicely decorated, very clean. The back deck with a view of the river is a big plus for us. As others mentioned, the shower is small and it is difficult to turn around in. There is a long walk from the parking to the cabin door which can be a problem when it is raining. Otherwise, we hope to return next year.

Great location. Nice little cabin right on the river

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin especially the close proximity to Cades Cove. The campground below the cabin is a little noisy but no fault of the owner. The cabin is cute but has a lot of “stuff” to make it feel like home. The kitchen table was set when we arrived and there wasn’t a place to set our food items we brought. There was no place for storing luggage/ bags. The shower was small to my husband but I’m smaller so it wasn’t a problem for me. Overall, a nice place to stay especially if you are going to visit the Smokies.

This quaint little cabin is right on the river and peaceful other than the “extremely” busy RV part across the river from us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would stay there again given the opportunity.

We were staying there so I could participate in the Half Marathon in Townsend. The hot tub and the soaking bathtub were both fabulous for me to prepare and recover. The proximity to the Smokies was great! We spent time in the mountains after the race. The cabin was in a great, quiet location, and it had all that we needed.

We absolutely loved this cute cabin on the river. We spent a lot of time watching the river go by and enjoying the fire pit. We love to fish and had a great time trying for trout. My wife and I plan to return next year for an even longer stay.

Nice cabin for just two people. Clean well kept area. Very peaceful.

The cabin was clean and attractive. However VRBO must give warnings about unsafe entry and exit doors. Warping limits door opening to 14 inches to back deck and front door to about 50-70%. People with handicaps would be unable to use either. Our calls to the owners and Vrbo were not returned during our stay. We will inform all vacationers to the area that they should avoid this RiverBend Cabin due to unsafe conditions.

Mountain cabin
The cabin is beautiful and clean. Location to Smoky Mountain National Park, Cades cave, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is great and away from the crowds. You over look the river be aware that there is a camp grounds across the river and the river is the campers hang out to cool off, if you are looking for privacy in the river you won't get it. We didn't mind because there is so much to do in the area that we didn't hang out much In the river. The cabin is very relaxing and beautiful. We will definitely stay there again!

Loved this cute little cabin!
This was the perfect size for a few nights for just the two of us! We loved having the little kitchenette, and both tubs! The smart tv was nice so we could cast some Christmas movies, too, and the wifi was very stable and fast! We loved the location, not too close to Pigeon Forge but enough people around to feel safe. The shower is definitely super small so don’t expect to shave or anything in there, but no big deal for a few nights. We did move the little table decor (wine bottle holder?) from the one little table in the bathroom to have some more space to put toiletries. On the last day I did finally find the one outlet in the bathroom behind the hanging towels! The floor is buckling, and we could feel the bumps, but they weren’t big enough to feel like we were going to trip over them. I moved the chairs footrest over to the side of the bed so I had a little nightstand as there was not one there, I would definitely have one there. I saw other reviews of not having a place to put luggage- I just put my suitcase under the platform bed frame and just pulled it out when I needed it and that served me fine, but if it’s hard for you to bend over, I could see how that might be an issue. Overall I would absolutely recommend this cabin and would come back again!

Disappointed
Bed sheets did not look clean. Microwave was dirty. Doors would not fully open. Website made it look like the steps went directly out the back of our cabin, but didn't. Overall we had a good time.

Wow! Can 1 word summarize a cabin? Absolutely! My husband & I booked this cabin for an extended weekend for my 40th birthday. We both loved the simplicity. My husband liked having the hot tub while I enjoyed the creek. The weather didn't quite cooperate with us but the last day was perfection. The only thing I missed was a washer & dryer. Yes, I'm that guest that will still do "normal" housekeeping on vacation. Lol. In my opinion the indoor whirlpool tub could be removed, bed relocated & a closet added to the bathroom wall to include a stackable washer & dryer with a better option to hang up clothing too. Just a thought. I have this cabin saved & will rebook either way. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin & enjoy our 2nd home in the smokies. The Johnson's

Small cabin on Georgia river
This was a very small open concept cabin with king bed in the living area. It had a large deck out the back with a fire pit available and it hung out over a good sized river in Townsend, GA.

GREAT ESCAPE FOR A COUPLE
We spent our 33rd Anniversary in this beautiful little cabin. The location was perfect. It was very quiet and peaceful. The deck overlooking the river was our favorite part. Being able to relax in the Hot tub while watching a fire and listening to the rolling river was heavenly. It is a small cabin but is perfect for a couple or for someone that needs a few days alone. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside to it was the very small shower. It is not usable if you are a large person which we both are but there is a very large jacuzzi tub that makes up for it. I would definately reccommend this cabin to anyone!

Mountain vacation
My wife and I normally camp in Cades Cove but she was 6 months pregnant and we decided a cabin would be better for her this year. This cabin is exactly what they represent it to be and the bed was much better than an air mattress. Pluss the bathroom was a lot closer than at the camp ground. We really enjoyed the stay and plan to book this cabin in the future. Not sure we will be ready to tent camp with a 7 month old baby yet next year.

Awesome place!
Awesome place and view of river!! The cabin was very clean; however, some work needed to be done to make it a safe environment. The floors were buckling so it was impossible to get a large suitcase through the door with out jamming it. Also the small refrigerator was also unbalanced because of the floors. My husband had to arrange the food strategically so that it wouldn’t tip over. (No drinks in the door) I would definitely go back once repairs are done to the floor. It is a beautiful place.

Clean and cozy
This was a spotlessly clean little cabin, just perfect for 1-2 guests. The location is ideal (just outside the entrance to the National Park, but also convenient to restaurants and shopping in Townsend), but there's really no reason to leave -- between the back deck overlooking the Little River, fire pit, hot tub, jacuzzi, and cozy indoor space (including awesome air conditioning for a hot weekend), it's easy to be perfectly satisfied here. You do hear some noise from other people (the KOA campground across the river and people tubing/floating during the day), but the trees give you privacy and the noise isn't at all distracting. Pro tip: the campground around the corner (where you turn in to this cabin) has food trucks on the weekends!
