Private, spacious townhouse located on a dead-end street is just steps away from bike path and the bus stop to River Run and it's Gondola! The many windows and high ceilings provide you with a view of the White Clouds and the private back yard is great for sun-bathing.
Jump on the bike path for a short walk to downtown Ketchum , x-country skiing or biking. A ten minute walk gets you to the trailhead for a great hike up Baldy Mountain with great views of the town or fishing in the Wood River! The townhouse features a large living room, dining area with window-seat, cook-friendly kitchen, deck with barbeque, bedroom with two twin beds and separate bath all on the top floor.
Located downstairs is the large master bedroom with it's king bed and seating area opening through french doors to a private English country garden back yard and complimented with walk-in closets and full master bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, large closet and private bath. Off the entryway is a laundry room and access to the garage which has ski or bike storage.
You can bike or walk to the new YMCA to enjoy their great facilities or walk 2 blocks to take the kids to the playground at Hemingway School. Open up the french doors and enjoy a meal on the deck with family and friends ( inquire about information on caterers).
We are 3 blocks from the center of Ketchum with a plethora of restaurants and cosmopolitan shops. About 1 mile and you're at the riding center to enjoy a picturesque trail ride. We're 2 miles from the new golf and x-country clubhouse with its family-friendly 18 hole putting course. Just down from the golf course is the gun club with expert instruction in trap and skeet shooting as well as sporting clays. During the summer pack your picnic basket with 'goodies' and take in the free symphony or one of the many musical venues offered in the area.
From the house you can walk 3 blocks to River Run and enjoy a gondola ride, mountain biking, hiking and the fun
spider bungee jump or take a paragliding ride. Also our friendly trout can be found feeding in the nearby river by the lucky angler.
Remember we say 'come for the winter but stay for the summer,' you can enjoy everything from this unique location!

Perfect location, beautiful home, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. We had three generations staying together and we all had space. Garage for skis/gear was so helpful. Wonderful stay!

Very well maintained and equipped. Chose this place to because we planned to be there with a larger party. It ended up being just my wife and I, but a group of four+ would be very comfortable here--plenty of space My wife and I loved hiving a spacious and well equipped kitchen. The neighborhood is a short walk to the city center but still very quiet. It's also near the Wood River walking trail and during peak winter season, the bus picks up right on the corner. Numerous windows in the living area offer great view of the Boulders and I really enjoyed getting up in the morning and sitting in the bay window and having my coffee. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at John & Patsy's lovely cottage for our annual girls trip. It was extremely spacious, clean and cozy. The location was amazing. 10 minute walk into town, 15 minute walk to River Run / 5 minute bus right (the stop is right out front)! The hosts answered our questions via VRBO app quickly and were extremely accommodating. We will be back!

What a wonderful place to unwind, spend some much-needed time with friends, and just "be". The location is ideal, whether on foot or by vehicle. We got in a lot of steps this trip, but that was our choice. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will ever need, and the sleeping/bathroom accommodations are perfect for separation and privacy. Patsy and John are incredibly accommodating and responded quickly to a few questions we had. Now, if only, they would reconsider furry family members (with a pet fee of course). We have lots of girl gatherings, and my husband and dog don't mind their alone time, so it's a win-win for all of us :) We will definitely return!!

The location is excellent, the hosts are super nice and let us check in early, and it is great everyone has their own bathroom! The decor, especially in the second bedroom downstairs, was a bit surprising (think a cabinet full of dolls and clowns!), and the bathroom was carpeted, which I did not love, but felt shockingly clean for a bathroom with carpet! I know that not everyone cares about such things, but I was a little surprised that none of the other reviews mentioned it. However, it was exactly what we needed, a place to sleep, and compared to other properties in Sun Valley, it is a good price and location!

John and Pasty have a wonderful location to ski Sun Valley. The house is extremely clean and comfortable. Having 3 baths was so helpful and made for a comfortable stay. You can walk to downtown for food and beverage or drive 3 minutes with plenty of parking. It takes 5 minutes to drive to the mountain which does a great job of moving people. I hightly recommend Josh and Patsy’s house.

Property was large, equipped with everything we could need and a perfect location for skiing, walking to town, walking the dog. The owner lives next-door and was happy to let me borrow a few kitchen items not in rental that I needed. Added bonus is use of garage that fit our car with a roof top box on top plus it had storage for skis. We can’t wait to return.

The space was great. Clean and spacious with just the right amount of amenities. The fireplace was our favorite part. The location is perfect as it's about a 7-minute walk to town. There's a bus stop 100 feet away from the front door so access to the mountain and the rest of Ketchum is easy if you need it. We ended up driving to River Run because parking is so easy and it was freezing a few of the days. Note: The TV situation isn't ideal so if you're the show/movie-watching type, you might want to bring your laptop or apple TV.

This home exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for cooking. The master bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of room for clothing, ski gear and other travel gear. The neighborhood is very quiet and the home is close to downtown and skiing. Overall - a great place to stay. We’ll rent it again.

Love being able to access town and trail by foot. Three blocks to Ketchum, four blocks on the trail to the sun valley parking lot. Terrific owners, very willing to help out when necessary. Nice duplex, three bedrooms, three baths, and living space with mountain views and a wood burning fireplace. We stayed here without a car. Walked to the store and shops and restaurants and took the red line to the ski slope. We would stay here again in a second!

This property is exceptionally well maintained. It was squeaky clean, very spacious, essentially every bedroom has a bathroom so they’re all master suites. The location could not be more convenient. 2 minutes from town, 5 minutes to the slopes., Tremendous value. Will definitely stay there again.

The home was lovely with all the windows, very clean & comfortable. With the hot weather the house stayed so cool even without AC. The kitchen was well equipped (sharp knives), thank you & bathrooms and bedrooms had plenty of towels/linens. Number 1 place to stay in Ketchum if not booked!
