We were extremely disappointed upon arrival to this property. We ended up not even staying and booked a hotel elsewhere. The house was nothing like the listing described, and it’s clear that the owner has not kept up with the necessary maintenance.
First off, the house was *not* renovated as stated. It was in dire need of repairs, including a non-functional shower in the master bath, a rotting entry door, and some interior doors that didn’t even have knobs or looked like it had been punched in. The stove’s oven door was broken and the facing fell off when it was opened. The kitchen cabinets were worn and desperately needed painting. The whole place had a rundown, neglected feel to it.
The backyard was another disappointment. It was overgrown with weeds and clearly hadn’t been maintained in quite some time.
The furniture in the living room and bedrooms was completely different from what was shown in the listing photos. The beds were the worst we’ve ever encountered—box springs were uncovered, mattresses were uncomfortable and you could feel the springs. The bedding in all the bedrooms looked like it came from a thrift store. The pillows were lumpy and old. The listing photos appear to have been staged with borrowed furniture and decor that wasn’t there during our stay.
Overall, this place was a dump. We felt completely misled by the listing and discovered that a previous negative review echoing our concerns had been mysteriously removed just before our arrival.

We found everything we needed for our stay. This place is close to a lot of attractions and it had good parking. The neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed a comfortable stay here.

This home in not renovated.... it Needs major renovation. Not accurate to the description! Not even the same furniture thats in the listing picture. This place is completely run down. Has cracks and breaks in the bathroom door like someone was punching it. Light fixtures loose. Old paint, nasty holes and cracks in most every room. This place is a complete dump. I Would love a refund because this place is the worst my family and I have ever stayed via Vrbo. Stay away. Not recommend.

The place was in a good location to downtown Lexington but it was not newly renovated like it was advertised. Backyard fence had broken boards and lawn was not mowed. However the place was clean and the stay was fine.

We enjoyed our stay! The home is in a nice historic neighborhood close to a lot of great restaurants and attractions. It was clean and the space was great for hanging out and enjoying our time together. A couple of issues: the shower in the main bedroom was hard to operate and the water pressure was low. We all used the hall bathroom for showers. Also worth noting, the pictures on the website do not match the current decor. However, overall, it was great for our visit.

This location is perfect for easy access and walks to events and restaurants in downtown Lexington. The ad says “Renovated” and while pretty clean - it is ready for a nice update with fresh paint and wall repair. Easy communication with Ben, our host. No issues with our stay.

This townhouse was the perfect unit for our quick trip to Lexington for a concert at the Rupp Arena! There was only the two of us, but it offered lots of space if you have more people and 2.5 bathrooms which we’ve rarely seen in townhomes! The pictures were very representative of the property, but my favorite thing was the walkability of the area! Some bigger cities are getting sketchy, but we had a literal 10 min or even less walk up to the arena in the downtown area and it felt very safe, nice historical neighborhoods …plenty of variety for food options…didn’t have the parking fees, and we walked back to our rental before some people made it out of the parking lot at the arena! Univ of Kentucky campus 5 minutes drive.
Only a quick trip, so I don’t have a lot more info on area attractions, but definitely would go back to check more out.

We visited for the Bourbon Burn Bike Ride. It was a good base of operations for the four-day weekend. Close to restaurants and West 6th Brewery. Also, an easy drive to the Kentucky Horse Park.

The place is very clean, the property manager is very responsive, great location to downtown Lex. There was where and tear that wad visible throughout, the pictures make it look like it’s bigger than it really is, the beds are all full-size, and the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. I almost slept on the floor because I felt it would be more comfortable. If those things are fixed and updated, this would be a great place to stay.

Our family went to a concert at Rupp Arena and this was the perfect place to stay. Close walking distance through a nice neighborhood and super convenient to restaurants. Owner was really helpful and informative. We got to beat the traffic and just walk home after the show. Loved it!

We went for races at Keeneland and to visit a few bourbon distilleries. Great location , walkable to downtown Lexington and restaurants. Ben, our host, was very responsive.

The location of the town house was in good proximity to all of the activities we were involved in. However, there were only sheers over the master bedroom windows, which did not provide privacy or shielding from the outside, security lights or the sunrise. In the two other bedrooms, there was no luggage rack or chest to put clothing out of the suitcase. Some additional shelving in the bathrooms would provide areas for toiletries and make up items.

Me and a group of friends stayed at this property for one night only as we were going to a concert at Rupp Arena and we walked there...so location was excellent.
The house has minor things that needs repairs: shower valve in master bath is a little temperamental. Doors have some damages that were painted over, but still see the damages. We have not used anything else rather than the bed and shower, so I cannot comment on anything else at this time.
Everything was clean, ie, bedsheets and towels.
I would stay again at this property.

Location was perfect to attend UK graduation. Rupp arena is 2 blocks. Easy access all around Lex.
We had 7 adults. 3 bed 2.5 bath was great. All bedrooms upstairs. We enjoyed being able to relax and socialize, eat a meal together with out of town family for UK graduation.

Great place to stay!
We just stayed her for one night to go watch a UK basketball game. Super easy walk to Rupp Arena. Easy to check in and communicated well with the owner. The upstairs master toilet does not flush well and the shower has a crack in it. But other than that it was a clean apartment and we really enjoyed the stay.

Convenient
My family came into town for a convention for my wife. The location was great! It was just a short walk to the convention center and local eats. Communication with the owner was easy and he always responded quickly. They had a binder on the coffee table with lots of local suggestions. Tried some of them out and did not disappoint. Lexington is a easy city to drive around in. If we ever come back to Lexington, we will plan on staying here again if we can!

Overall we had a great experience. We were using it as a base and really just having breakfast and sleeping there. Ascetically it could use some work but it had all we needed. Enjoyed working with Ben. Would stay again.

The property was clean and close to a lot of things to do and places to eat. The host was great with communication. This place could be fantastic if the master bedroom bed wasn't so bad. Although the linens were soft, it is a spring mattress and you feel the springs so it was very uncomfortable to sleep in. The place is well equipped - kitchen has everything you need. The place isn't polished but it is nice. It was great for a family for a weekend. It was clean and safe.

Great location!
This was a great townhouse near the downtown area. It is also a great location if you are visiting a son or dtr at UK or Transylvania University. Very close to campus. It is in a busy area but location is very quiet. This is a great loa tion and townhouse if you are wanting to be close to the center of Lexington. Ben was super responsive and helpful.

We had a nice stay at this property! It was very clean. Check in was easy as pie. The location is as great. We walked downtown and also walked to the distillery district. The neighborhood was super cute and we felt very safe. It’s a great location if you’re attending something at Rupp. We would stay here again!! The only thing is if you have the ability to bring your own pillows do so!! The pillows are a bit thin, but not a deal breaker.
