Beautifully renovated 1360 SF apartment, well appointed and thoughtfully designed for the professional/sophisticated visitor to Washington. This spacious apartment is an entire floor in a historic large Brownstone on a block of beautiful imposing historic homes. It features high 10' ceilings, recessed lighting, good natural light, and a large open kitchen & living room, giving it a bright and open feel. New hardwood floors, an open kitchen with counter seating and Viking appliances, and a full bath reveal thoughtful details in making this a comfortable and desirable retreat.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, custom closet, and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed and, a custom closet. Both rooms have lovely natural light and black-out shades. You will also find a comfortable queen sleeper sofa in the open living room.

This lovely apartment is on Gallery Row (R Street between Connecticut and 21st Street), a stone's throw from The Phillips Collection and home to interesting restaurants, cafes, bistros, shops, spas, galleries, museums jazz clubs and parks.

We are centrally located with easy walking to the ample cuisine choices throughout the neighborhood and it is easy to access all of the city via public transportation. There are abundant bike share, car share and scooter share opportunities nearby. Google the options or contact us for resources so that you can register in advance.

You are in an ideal location for transit, 1.5 blocks away from the DuPont Metro Station (Red Line) at 20th and Q St. Leave your car at home, having a car in DC is more a liability than a convenience! If you are driving to DC and need parking, we do have one parking space (nightly fee) behind the home, check with us on availability. We can also order you a street parking permit. Please check with us first on this, we will need the car make, model, and the plate state & number.

Our youngest son is leaving for college in the fall and he had never visited like our other kids had. We saw so much. It was delightful despite the heat. I highly recommend this apartment, it was absolutely lovely and Charlotte took amazing care of us. Thank you!

Any issues were addressed right away. Convenient location, would stay again!

We had a great stay at this property. The location was perfect with local dining options and quick walk to the metro. The property was very clean and communication with the property manager fast and helpful. There is no second/ back exit, which was the only thing I found unusual.

This unit in a historic row house in Dupont exceeded expectations. Plenty big enough for our family of five. Around the corner from great restaurants. Will be staying here again for sure!

No access to rubbish bins at the back of the house, had to walk around the block carrying the rubbish. A bit disappointed in the lack of communication to emailed questions about the property.

Place was great. Clean, comfortable, a nice place to hang out in a perfect location. I was a little concerned at first that the air conditioning wouldn't reach the secondary bedroom, but it ended up not being a problem even for a couple of 98-degree days.

Almost everything about this venue was just right. Well furnished and clean, with all the necessary amenities, close proximity to the foreign embassy area, the Philips Collection, subway, and an excellent Sunday farmer's market. Numerous excellent restaurants within two to three blocks. This is fine if you need a conventional bed to sleep in. However, the bed is a bit narrow for two people who use some space, and the bunk beds are a bit softer than we were used to. Again, overall we would happily stay here again if the bed situation could be solved for us. Thank you.

We loved our time here! The location is perfect for getting to the metro and getting around the city. The proximity to restaurants is awesome with lots of options to chose from. The apartment has all the essentials for easy living and we all had comfy beds to sleep in after long days of playing tourist. We found everything to be super comfortable, clean and quiet.

wonderful location for DC. Metro is just 2,5 blocks away. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Apartment was lovely. Two large bedrooms and lots of seating for relaxing. Parking is a bit limited - garage on block but VERY expensive.

My son and I enjoyed a one week stay in this comfortable, well-equipped two-bedroom home (first floor of a classic DC townhome). The home is extremely well located, within walking distance of numerous sites, and just a two minute walk to the nearest metro station. Numerous restaurants, in all price ranges and styles, are also available nearby. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

This cute apartment was so perfect. Location couldn’t be beat- a very short walk to both the metro station and many restaurants. The layout was awesome with the kids room in back so they had a space where they could get away and the house felt calm. Amenities were great - absolutely everything we needed was there - plus drawers of useful things others had left- city guides, games, etc. we would absolutely stay again. Communication with the property management was fast and responsive. If you book this place and have a car, rent the parking space- it is absolutely worth it!

This apartment is close to everything in DC so a great place to stay. Lots of restaurants in the area and bike rentals across the street. All the attractions are walking distance but if you're lazy, many ubers are minutes away. Dupont circle subway station is 2 blocks away which is very convenient. The apartment itself was very clean and more spacious than expected. The kitchen was very good as well if you choose to eat in.

The internet on and off the entire time. Stuck out front as door did not work for over 45 minutes. And out of 3 contact number no one picked up. Lastly our door to the apartment did not lock for the last 24 hours we where there.

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it! Such a great location on a nice street. Two nice bedrooms, updated kitchen and bath - has everything we needed for our stay. Very clean with fresh decor. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again

With reported water damage to the facility booked - we were moved by the owners and VRBO to another facility the day before arrival. The support and care of how that information was conveyed and the substitution of a similar facility were much appreciated and enabled us to still enjoy the expected weekend visit (albeit in a different location).
