Enjoy family or friends at this stylishly renovated 100-year-old home!

Full kitchen with both in- and outdoor dining rooms for up to 8 people.

The house has a charming porch and backyard with a large grill and open fire pit. Bathrooms are a full one with tub upstairs and a 1/2-3/4 downstairs with wet room shower designed for occasional use. Laundry is available in the basement that is shared with owners and secured for guests from kitchen.

The neighborhood is in the beautiful wooded Palisades "modern village" and is within a 10-minute drive of Georgetown/downtown DC and is central to everything in the Washington Metro Area. There is a private driveway for two cars.

Palisades Park is directly across the street with a large playground and sports complex (with a gym, tennis, pickleball, basketball courts, skatepark and more). Several exceptional restaurants, Starbucks, neighborhood convenience store and beautiful trails are within a few steps from the house.

In spite of a rainy week, our stay in DC was great because of our stay in this home. With family arriving from different locations, it was great to have space for 2 cars. The three bedrooms were good. The kitchen was great for our family of five. The restaurants were an easy walk, just a block and a half away. We really enjoyed our stay!

Gracious and accommodating hosts at this terrific, very clean home. All the the conveniences for a group of adults to have a comfortable visit and privacy. Complete kitchen, cozy rooms, front porch swing, bus line, convenience stores nearby made it all seem better than home.

The property was lovely and fully renovated, clean and well stocked. Special touches like a basket of snacks and coffee pods made our stay welcoming and comfortable. The owner lives next door so takes care of any issues right away. Yet is unobtrusive and the home feels very private. The neighborhood is close to downtown yet feels far away. Only 2 issues-it is advertised as a 4 bedroom yet there are only 3 real bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The downstairs bathroom shower is basically unusable as the shower head is over the toilet in a strange configuration. I would recommend this property with the knowledge of these 2 issues. We were comfortable and happy to stay there.

Perfect location, very clean, snacks and drinks were provided for us including a bottle of wine, Kevin was always available to help and very responsive. We really felt like houseguests not just renters.

Quiet duplex that is decorated beautifully and is clean with comfortable beds. There is a wonderful front porch with swing to sit and watch the day go by. The location is fantastic with quick walking access to C & O trail and a park directly across the street! There is off street parking which is a huge plus. Walking distance to restaurants but be prepared they are very pricey! A fantastic find and I will stay there again.

We had a lovely time staying at this property. We stay at VRBO locations often and this has been one of the best. The property was in a great location. Having off-street parking a major plus. The property had everything we needed including access to washer/dryer. Beds were comfortable, neighborhood was quiet and kitchen was well-equipped. The location was very centrally located, across from a park and could walk to bus lines (to catch the Metro) or use Uber easily if needed. The owner was quick to respond with any questions we had and very accommodating. Great home, great stay, great experience!

The property was well kept together, clean, and in a very nice area. I had no problems getting to Georgetown and downtown DC during my visit, the property owners were very helpful with recs as well. Enjoyed my stay

The house is in a spectacular location. Close to lots of great restaurants, hikes/walks, and gorgeous neighbourhoods to explore on foot. It's a friendly, safe area. The park across the street is perfect for kids of any age to play. Speaking of which, the house is equipped with some board games, great books, and a few balls of various sorts i think. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, there's access to washer/dryer in the basement, the beds are heavenly, the light control in the bedrooms is wonderful (I need darkness to sleep), it's quiet in general, very very clean, good bathrooms/shower, good towels, wash clothes, etc, you name it, it had it. And the owner is next door and ready to provide whatever else you may need. The owners are friendly and around, but not intrusive at all. Well worth the price as it's got everything 100% down pat. Great house, hosts, and stay!

We had a great stay as we did our quick DC trip. We had everything we needed and slept very well. Lots of food choices nearby and a short drive into DC. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and we would definitely stay here again!
