About this cabin rental

Come out to Lake Hartwell and enjoy some time away from the hustle and bustle of your normal everyday life. Relax on our covered single-slip dock or the screened in porch that offers beautiful views of the lake.

Our comfortable, cozy cabin offers all of the conveniences of your own home. The great room has many windows to offer views of the lake, a 50" screen 4k television, and propane logs in the fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped. The master bedroom with a king size bed is open to the great room below and the upstairs windows offer a full view of the lake from the master room. The second and third rooms are furnished with queen size beds.

As you step to the back of the house you will notice plenty of seating for guests. The Green Egg in the back is available for your grilling pleasure and the fire pit in the back yard compliments the relaxed setting.

There is a single slip covered boat dock, with electricity, at the end of the short walk to the water where you can enjoy water sports, sun bathing, fishing or anything your soul desires! For your convenience, a dock box is in place to hold floats if you prefer to relax in the water. We also have a paddle board and a tandem kayak available for your enjoyment.

Poplar Springs (5 miles drive) has a boat launch if you would like to bring your own boat to enjoy boating during your stay or you may rent a boat from Harbor Light Marina (10 miles drive). Tugaloo State Park (2 miles drive) offers hiking, kayak and canoe rental, miniature golf, volley ball, tennis and horseshoes.

This rental is 40 minutes from Clemson via I-85.

The cabin is beautiful and met all of our needs. We needed a getaway as it’s been several years due to health issues. We were there as well to go to a family reunion 20 min from the cabin. We will book again.

I have had a tough year with my apartment catching fire after it was struck by lightning and chemo, however I can finally say I am in full remission and needed a perfect little holiday escape to celebrate with my husband and children! This was an awesome stay! While stores may not be 5 minutes down the road (except for dollar general it’s everywhere!) most stores such as Walmart or Ingles are about 30-40 minutes away which is not bad at all bc the scenery there is amazing! The drive to and from Helen, Ga was not bad at all. The lake house itself was wonderful! We were able to pull out the kayak and glide on down the lake. Such a peaceful stay! The house had everything we needed and more. It did rain all day Christmas Day so I took my blanket out to the screened in porch and napped on the rocking patio chairs. It was pure bliss! An awesome escape from all the craziness in Orlando, FL.

We had a great time! The views of the lake and the surrounding trees were really breathtaking. Loved the cabin! It was laid out very well and well stocked and comfortable. Excellent host! Nathan and Janelle were very quick to respond to any questions we had.

This lovely A-frame home has a garden and yard, a beautiful stone fireplace, a screened in porch, and a large assortment of kitchen accessories. The master suite is the star of the show and includes a pleasant sitting area. If you like the feel of a cozy wooden cabin, this is the place for you!

We had an amazing week at the lake. The house was everything we wanted and we loved having the lake just a short walk from the house. We spent all day fishing, floating, kayaking and paddle boarding (kayak and paddle board provided with the rental) right off the dock. There really isn’t anything else we could have wanted.

Nice quiet cove. Kids loved walking right into the sandy bottom lake and catching minnows with a net. Convenient firepit right off the back deck. Well stocked with everything we needed and far more.

We rented this cottage to be close to a family reunion. It was perfect for our needs. The location was great. It was a 5 minute drive, 2/3 mile walk, or a 50 yard swim to my nieces house where the reunion was held. It was very comfortable and had one of the best equipped kitchens of any VRBO we have ever rented. The owners were very responsive.

We enjoyed this beautiful home for our short stay. We loved the dock swing and it was our favorite place to hang out. It has a fully stocked kitchen, incredibly comfortable beds and lots of space for all of us. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

This property was located back in a little but on the lake . The views from the house were incredible ! The inside of the house gave you a warm - cozy cabin feeling .The kitchen was really well stocked with everything and anything you could have needed . We all ha a wonderful few days .

We had a great time on this property. Easy access to dock activity. This would be ideal for families that want easy access to good swimming space for children. The space was as advertised in all areas. The kitchen was well supplied. We had a great time making day trips to small nearby towns.

Great weekend at the cabin. The cabin is very cozy and pretty. We took our boat and hung out all day. There isn't much boat traffic in the cove so it is very peaceful and nice for lounging on a float. I do have arthritic knees and unable to climb the ladder so I walk out. They have a hose so I am able to wash my feet . There is also electricity at the dock which is helpful if you need to charge your boat.

Excellent communication with the owner. All questions were answered in minutes. I wish all property owners were as helpful and cooperative as Bert and Katherine. We spent A LOT of time on the dock. We took two boats and just thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Caught fish all week and also cleaned and cooked them. Great week!!!

House was beautiful inside and out. The dock was great for kayaking swimming and fishing. The fishing was great also. We wanted a slow paced family vacation and that was exactly what we got. The cove where this house is at is very quit and peaceful.

Stocked well, very clean and comfortable. However outside needed some maintenance repair and cleaning. Rotten deck boards on entrance way. Carpenter bees were very busy drilling into deck rails. Outdoor furniture and kayak needed to be washed. We washed the pier swing to enjoy the water and beautiful view. Porch ceiling fan light not working.
