Our first time staying in this part of D.C. The apartment was clean, quiet, cozy and beautifully appointed. Location is perfect - beautiful neighborhood, many restaurants, shops nearby. The Metro is just a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Check-in was easy. We plan on returning in the fall.

As Capitol Hill natives, this return to the old neighborhood couldn’t have been better thanks to this lovely basement apartment. Perfectly laid out, stocked and located for a couple who wants to experience Capitol Hill with easy access to all of the tourist sites. The hosts are terrific and communication was a breeze. We couldn’t recommend this more highly!

This property was the PERFECT place for our DC visit. The perfect location--6 blocks from the US Capitol and walking distance to many restaurants and pubs. It was dog-friendly with the perfect fenced-in front yard for our dog to stretch his legs. The neighborhood was perfect for dog walking with several parks within easy walking distance. The apartment itself was perfect with its brick floor, two fireplaces, and a full kitchen. Milli was the perfect host, she made every part of the stay easy, from parking to check-in, to offering late check-out! Even her dog, Kai, was a perfect gentleman to our fur baby. We plan to stay here again on our next adventure to Washington, DC.

It's about a mile to the Supreme Court building and the beginning of all of the Washington Buildings. Ubers were plentiful, the metro is about 7, flat, blocks away. If you walk down 7th you pass great restaurants and then continue on 8th for more-so no shortages of places to eat out at, and a trader Joes in the same area. It was a good size for the two of us and had a great kitchen. A lovely area where a lot of the Washington workers live. Pretty perfect for us.

This was exactly what we needed. Close to the capital and the metro. The property managers made sure we had everything we needed. Some reviews mentioned it was tight but we thought it was comfortable. We even left the foldable mattress out in the living room the entire time.

Very comfortable little apartment just steps away from the US Capitol. My husband and I stayed with our nine-year-old grandson. The apartment was great for various end of day activities as well as preparing meals. We were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted to go. Parking was available on the street. And we did take our car out to drive to a few of the monuments in the evening. Of course, it was great that the weather was so fabulous.

For a week of Smithsonian Museum hopping, the location couldn't be any better. Cozy, well appointed apartment. Helpful, without being intrusive, hosts.

The property was just as described. There is one bed and a small couch in the living room. It’s not possible for more than two people to stay, but for a couple it’s perfect. I recommend bringing slippers in the winter. The tile floors ( the parts not covered by rugs) are cold on the feet.
