Sleep at Pillacol GH + cheap taxi ride + meals at Vic Falls Hotel = perfection.

Everything we needed for a comfortable stay & Siziwe did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable, [in spite of my physical problems] including a lovely gesture of welcome that we won’t disclose. We found that staying here & eating at the Victoria Falls Hotel gave us the best of everything at a tiny fraction of the price of the big hotels. Being a short taxi ride from the town centre means that it is much quieter than we expected.

Suzzie makes the difference

Se trata de una guesthouse, no un B&B, con habitaciones muy amplias y limpias. Tiene una pequeña piscina y derecho a cocina. Está algo alejado de la ciudad (30 min), pero te recogen para cualquier actividad. Lo que lo hace excelente es el cuidado de Suzzie. Ella está en todos los detalles: te llena la necvara, te da aguas, gestiona las reservas para taxis y recogida en el aeropuerto (a buen precio), te facilita la vida y te hace sentir muy bien. Gracias Suzzie por cuidarnos!!

Siziweのアフリカン料理を食べに来て

口コミを見て1人10$でSiziweのアフリカン料理をお願いしました。私はスパイシーなものが苦手で日本人なので多くは食べれないので少な目で作ってもらうようにお願いしました。品数は少なかったですがスパイシーさが絶妙で感心しました。量もちょうどよくチキンは今まで食べた中で一番おいしかったです。牛肉も噛めば噛むほど美味しく感じられました。ソースも本当にに美味しかったです。翌日の朝食も作ってくれて付け合わせのジャガイモが美味しかったです。

テレビがもっと大きかったらうれしい：テレビに近づけば解決できますバス＆トイレのドアが開閉が重たかった：ちょっとコツがいりますが力を入れれば大丈夫ですゴキブリが出ました：噛みも刺すこともありません清潔感はなかったと思う：文化の違いで日本人は室内では靴を脱ぎます。テーブルを濡れタオルで拭いていただければ解決します今は写真に載っていた洗濯機と乾燥機はありません：ハウスキーピングの方にお願いすればしていただけるようです

みんなSiziweに会いに来て

口コミにも記載されていますがこのゲストハウスSiziweの人柄に尽きる途中にチョベ国立公園にサファリドライブに行くため荷物を預かってもらうことになってきたが使っていた部屋に置いて行ってもいいよって言ってくれた。荷物4個のために3日間部屋を貸すことが出来なくなるよって言ったらそのままでいいって言ってくれた。感動して涙が出そうになった。部屋が広く快適でした。

テレビがもっと大きかったらうれしいバス＆トイレのドアが開閉が重たかったゴキブリが出ました清潔感はなかったと思う今は写真に載っていた洗濯機と乾燥機はありません

Just Ok

It was a large room with shared kitchen. Wifi was excellent and host was very nice and helpful.

Host was in kitchen at 5.30 am in the morning cooking up meat which was very unpleasant smelling when waking up. Absolutely zero signage to find the place.

Nice place with air-con, a pool and great staff

Very safe, well kept, clean Pool is regularly serviced Staff were excellent, always available to help and answer questions Air-conditioning saved us from the intense heat We were only booked for our first two nights in Vic Falls. After one night at the next booking, we cancelled and returned to Pillacol

A little far for walking to attractions but can be done, depends on the heat. We had a taxi driver that was always available to transport us and charged us local rates so it was fine.

Pillacol a home away from home

The staff was super welcoming. Inviting you to choose your room. Feel at home vibe, big rooms and solar powered for when the power goes off. And the beds are likw sleeping on Cloud Nine. The owner took good care of us even driving us back to the border and making sure we were getting a taxi at a good rate to cross the bridge!!

A bit out of the center so very quiet but if you are not a walker you need a taxi (cheap) to go to town.

good and inexpensive

i loved this place. I come again when i am in Victoria falls. the host SIZI is great, as all africans, the smile never leave their faces and help is always available. I thank the cleaning lady there. she is very helpful. It is a walkable distance to the city. This place is a good for family or budget traveller. when we reached I have had mistakely ordered double bed. but we are 2 friends. I amd Sizi and my tarvelmate immediately turned the double bed into two twin bed. that moment we had these nice pics. انصحكم به لانه مريح suosittelen tämä majoitus.

Lo primero la atención de la propietaria, un diez. Lo segundo la habitación, enorme, cómoda e impecable. Y lo tercero la piscina, que se agradece enormemente en los días de calor

Excellent value for money.

The property is exactly what we wanted: friendly, clean, and good value for money. It is a little out of town, but only a few minutes drive to the centre.

One air conditioner didn't work, but we were able to change rooms.

Sizzy is a lovely host, you can really feel safe and at home with her. She's also an excellent networker so in case you need to arrange tours, activities , cruises etc., she's there to suggest you the best! Finally, you should taste Sizzy's african cooking !! Thanks a lot Sizzy <3

Best rooms on our 30 day trip to Zimbabwe.

The Hostess was the Best, she went out of her way to be accommodating. Helped us set up our activities. She made us feel at home, and was most gracious. We will never stay any where else in Victoria Falls!

Great place to stay.

Lovely place in a quiet neighbourhood. Sizzy, the host, very helpful with organising trips and making me feel right at home. Very modern fittings and fantastic value for money; definitely should be more expensive than it is. Really enjoyed my stay.

Perfect!

Sizzy is an awesome host. She helps out with everything she can and has all the tips. The room was incredibly huge and very clean. One of my best stays,where my expectations were exceeded. The communication upfront was quick, pro-active and very reliable as well.

Exceptionally enjoyable stay!

Sizzy is a fantastic host, she makes sure that her guests are always safe and comfortable. She is very familiar with the area and can give you advice on anything from activities to cooking. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. Highly recommended.

Superb

The hostess was very friendly, helpful and welcoming, she helped us with absolutely everything. Place is super clean. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great Wifi, many modern sofas in the dining room. Quiet and peaceful area. Will return soon.

Good value for money

I had a very spacious room with a big and comfy bed. Nice bathroom with shower and hot water all the time. My room (No 2) was equipped with a fridge, small flat screen television and also aircon. Excellent WiFi in room, lounge and kitchen. There is a big lounge equipped with a large flat screen television as well as a kitchen with all necessary appliances and utensils. Sizzy is a very charming and helpful host. The guest house is located in a residential area; it's about a 20 to 30 min walk to the town centre. The taxi ride was USD 5.

The stay was fine but was the surprise of paying extra money for kids.

Extra cost for the kids was not happy. When I booked I mentioned that I have kids.Since the house was 3 bedroom I don't think it was necessary to add costs after we arrived. When I booked I clearly mentioned that I have kids including their age.

Huge place with nice AC and proactive host

Very spacious new 3 bedroom house which easily could take six people. Very friendly host that proactively thinks ahead. Very close to Victoria Falls and Covid Test Centre. We were offered a Kudu stew for diner as lock down was in place. Very nice AC.
