GUEST INTERACTION
We are happy to provide you with as much or as little interaction as you desire. We can welcome you when you arrive and give you a 'tour' of the place, or we can provide you with self check-in instructions so that you can let yourself in at your convenience (most people prefer this option).
We do require a copy of your ID and the CC used for payment upon booking. Please feel free to cover up all personal information and all but the last 4 digits of your CC. This is to protect our guests and us against fraudulent bookings.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The place is on the same block as the Roosevelt Hotel which sometimes has promotions with music at their pool. These are really fun to go to but we also want you to be aware that you can hear the music occasionally from inside. These promotions are not an everyday occurrence and this has never been an issue for us when we lived here but we want you to be aware in case you are super sensitive to noise.
Our garage (2 spots) only fits cars/mini vans/regular suvs. Extra large passenger vans and big SUVs with racks on top will not fit under our garage and you'll need to park them either on the street or in a parking structure (Note: there is one at the end of our block).
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
We are centrally located in Los Angeles in the infamous Hollywood neighborhood, where stars are embedded in the sidewalk, stars walk the sidewalks, and people pretending to be stars solicit money for street performances! The cultural epicenter of the movie industry and a beacon for those who dream big-screen, Hollywood's star-power creates a place like no other in the universe.
Hollywood is surrounded by West Hollywood, The Hollywood Hills, Melrose Ave, Los Feliz, Beverly Hills, Miracle Mile all just a few minutes by car. All of these neighborhoods have excellent restaurants, public parks, libraries, tourist attractions, museums, theaters and shopping.
Additionally the home is just a few blocks from the entrance to Runyon Canyon which has the most famous hiking trails in LA. A perfect spot for an early morning jog, photo opportunity of the Hollywood sign, gorgeous views and of course celebrity spotting!

Great spacious condo for 5 people. Clean with all amenities included, even two secure parking spaces. Neighborhood is close to the Hollywood stars walking street. Not the safest street but condo was secure with a locked gate. Great for our family of 5.
5.0 / 5.0
My family of 6 (two adults, four teenagers) stayed at this property for a week. We had such a great time for our first trip to Los Angeles and absolutely loved the central location to so much to do. We were so close to Universal Hollywood, Griffith Park, and the Warner Brothers Studios which we visited. We also traveled easily from here to Disneyland, Venice Beach, and Malibu. It was so much more spacious and affordable than going the hotel route. The owner sent us so much information on the best places for anything from restaurants, to groceries, to pharmacies. They answered all my questions and addressed my concerns prior to booking and traveling. The neighborhood could use a bit of a cleanup but being just one block from the Hollywood Walk of Fame was such a perk that it made up for it. The residence was clean and very secure. The owner provided so many small items such as soaps, shampoo and conditioner, laundry detergent, and several other small bathroom and kitchen items. The two balconies could have used a little sprucing up. We loved being able to save on parking costs (and searching for spaces) with the on-site secure parking and being able to walk to In and Out Burger. Thanks for letting us stay!

We loved our stay in Hollywood, and the location of the condo, just 1 block off of Hollywood Blvd was soooo perfect. The house is cute and quite comfortable. Our group was out and about everyday, but we enjoyed watching movies in the evenings and preparing breakfast and dinner together. The only thing we'd change is the kitchen knives are rather dull. Would definitely return, though!!

We loved the location, so close to everywhere we wanted to be. The unit was clean and had everything we needed although we were out most of the time and really just used the place to sleep and make cinnamon rolls one morning. We would definitely stay here again.

We were a walk around the corner to Hollywood Blvd and a 10 min drive to Universal Studios. It was the perfect location for our family

The location was so perfect for all the things we wanted to do while in Hollywood. Obviously it’s not a super safe suburban setting, but the security of the townhome complex and the gated parking garage made us feel perfectly fine with our family of 6. It was just a 2 block walk to Madame Toussads, the Chinese Theater, etc. The home was plenty spacious for us and had all of the amenities we could ask for in a rental. The host does a great job of thinking ahead about easing the burden of traveling. Especially appreciated not having to worry about packing the bathroom supplies (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc). Plenty of extra pillows and blankets were also appreciated. We had an issue with check-in, when the check-in instructions were not automatically sent to us as normal, and we could not get ahold of the host for a while. We thought we might be stranded travelers for a bit, and had to start figuring out where in the world our family of 6 could stay in Hollywood last minute on a Sunday evening. But then the host got in touch with us and was so sweet and apologetic for the mishap. She even had a ton of amazing donuts delivered to us for breakfast the next morning. I really think it was just a fluke thing. The host was truly fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

During our stay, lots of little things were wrong/off which if one had happened, no biggie, but they piled up to induce some frustration. Upon arrival, we noticed a hole in the wooden floors outside two bedrooms, then the serious cracks in the bathroom tile in the bathroom (cracked enough they were lifting in shards). The home looked little like the photos (save the couch, table, and beds) as decor, paint colors, and other furniture were all different. Additionally, one faucet handle was broken, porch light burned out, and 3 other lights were out. Upon contacting the owner, she said she was sorry, highlighted the attractions nearby, and said she would let her handyman know about the broken things- that's it. On the bright side, the beds were very comfortable and the space was great- lots of room to spread out as a family of four. Also the home was clean, but could use some deep cleaning. Also, the instructions in the welcome book are largely inaccurate on where to find things.
If you are not from a big city, like New York or the like, then the exterior may catch you off guard like us. It looked super sketchy and felt unsafe. While inside we felt mostly safe, the walls are VERY THIN and you will hear EVERYTHING happening outside- every foul argument, siren, construction, honk...not to mention you will also hear the neighbors every movement, including when their smoke alarm batteries beep for 4 days straight. I wish I had known this all before booking.

Great property to stay. We are a family with 4 kids from 19-9. This was our first trip to the LA area and had no idea where we should and shouldn't stay. We were a little nervous about it being so close to Hollywood BLVD but once we were there all the worries were gone. We felt very safe throughout our entire stay and is was so convenient to have secure off street parking. Most days we just walked for food and fun. There is a Target close for all the supplies you may need although the property was very well stocked. Hosts were in communication and very accommodating. Property was just like we expected, it was great to have 3 bathrooms for our family. Even when we did drive nothing felt too far away even in the California traffic. We would definitely stay again!

just a short 5 day getaway to LA. Chose this place as it was centrally located to a lot of the places we wanted to go. Awesome place to stay. 3 Bedroom 3 bath. 5 of us. It is very roomy. Updated bathrooms. Air blows COLD, loved that. Communication was great, check in process and access to keys and garage was very easy. Bedrooms were plenty large enough. All 4 beds slept very well. We all think the mattresses must be very new. Didn't need a thing but Laurie and Katelyn checked in just to make sure. Strongly recommend. We will stay here again and again.

Unit was as described, as well as location. Host was good with communication. Location was good and walking distance to many amenities. However the unit could really use a deep clean, there was a damp smell upon entry that seemed to come from the washer. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy but the security at the unit was good.

We were unable to stay at this property or even use the VRBO service because the property manager canceled the reservation at the last minute and the app didn't allow for same day reservations.

Walk to almost everything. 1 block off Hollywood Blvd. Property is older and could use a little attention and some minor repairs, but not a deal breaker. Laura was very responsive and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time!

This home was a perfect stay for my family of 6! 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. We were here for a vacation to Universal Studios and I’m glad we chose this home to stay in. There’s a lot of little thought that was put into this home for the guests (signs that tell us how to use household items and a book that goes over any and all instructions including how to reach the hosts and things to do and eat in the neighborhood ). We also felt secure staying here due to the fact that the home is protected by a big gate. Thank you guys again for letting us stay!

This was a family trip before dropping our son off at USC for college. The Hollywood location was convenient starting point for activities in Hollywood, West Hollywood, LA downtown, Santa Monica Beach, etc. but the neighborhood itself is not great, have to go about a mile or two further West for a more enjoyable day of walking, shopping, dining, etc. I would probably pay more to stay in a nicer area next time.

Great location!
Property was as advertised, you are in the heart of Hollywood close to many celebrity sighting places. If your looking for quiet then this is not the place for you, the area is lively and gives you many options to experience ALL of Hollywood. Property owners very response and take responsible for there home. We will be staying here again next year.

Perfect location and stay
Our stay here in LA was perfect! The location was absolutely perfect. Not only for walking around to see sights but to drive to different locations around LA. The gated parking spot was so helpful and convenient. The neighborhood was safe, the gated entry was safe - no worries at all while there. The place was clean and welcoming. Spacious and nice. Laurie was an excellent host who was responsive and very thoughtful. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in LA. I would recommend staying here to any and all of my friends and family.

Good house for a family of 5 for LA trip
We really enjoyed this homes location. Great to walk around downtown Hollywood. We enjoyed morning walks to Runyon Canyon. The close Target and In-N-Out Burger was an added bonus! We took Lyfts or Ubers to Warner bros, Pasadena and Santa Monica pier from here (not cheap but super easy!). The hosts were wonderful and we enjoyed the table and games.

Great location, exactly as pictured
We were in LA for a family event. This place was perfect. It came with a parking spot which was awesome. The neighborhood seemed iffy at first but the complex and the parking are very secure and it was all very comfortable. The self-checkin instructions were excellent. The hosts were very responsive.

Great location and nice unit
I took my daughters and a couple of their friends to So Cal to go to Universal Studios. This was a perfect place for ours to stay. Beds were comfortable, home was clean.
Great for families or a small group of friends. Lots of good food options within a mile!
The address/ garage gate entrance was a little hard to find…look for a gate on the right side of a brown building. I think the shrubs made it hard to see the building address. But once you find it, the garage is super convenient.

Wonderful LA vacation stay
Our family of 5 traveled to LA for the LA experience. This place is very clean and was fantastic for our family. It is quiet and yet located in the heart of Hollywood- a short walk to Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Chinese Theater and Roosevelt Hotel. We had so much fun!

Great Location in walking distance to Hollywood and Sunset Blvd. Gated felt safe great parking
Overall property was nice. Provided full pantry and laundry products which was awesome.
Property however was thoroughly cleaned. I did speak to Laurie host regarding issue and she stated it was Steamed Cleaned. I don't know what all that entails but I will mention all the not so clean areas upon our arrival.
The stairway carpet was severely stained. The kitchen sink was loose, the doorknob in the hallway on 2nd level fell off. The TRIMMING in the shower came off in the Master BR. Smudge marked could be seen on shower door in hallway BR. There were stains from juice or a liquid that had dripped from.top drawer down to the lower drawer in the kitchen closest to the windows. The handle on cabinet drawer was loose under neath the coffee pot.
I took pictures and sent them to host who apologized for some issues . Although some small issues but when you have that many. May need to reevaluate the cleaning staff. And I also suggest having a checklist detailed that guests should be able to check off all that's clean or any issues with the property when they 1st arrive.
Some issues we noticed on arrival some happen throughout stay (shower/doorknob/)
We also could not get full use of either decks because they were not cleaned chairs and tables were dirty and leaves were all over.
My review is to help host address cleaning and maintenance issues.
Otherwise great place Location and appreciate all the cleaning supplies provided.

Exactly as Expected
Convenient to Hollywood blvd. and Sunset. Ideal location and also nice that it was on residential road. Kitchen was well stocked. Review said walls were thin, but it was not too noisy. My husband and I stayed with our daughters that are in their twenties. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location and spacious.
Did a 3 night stay with our 2 teenagers. Both kids had their own rooms on the same level as ours but a good distance away. There’s a Target close by where we bought groceries to cook meals. We were in LA to do the full on tourist bit so the location was great. Steps away from iconic Hollywood stuff, tiny walk to Runyon Canyon hiking, easy car drive to key LA destinations. Owner was great communicator and there’s a very useful “renters guide” in the unit. The Parking spot was awesome and needed. The area is bustling and we felt safe.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. Communication with the owner was quick and super fast, which made it that much more of a pleasant stay. Things I would note that weren't a huge deal for us, but could be to others: There is a set of steep, narrow, concrete stairs leading up from the parking spot to the unit. We traveled with 3 adult females and 3 8-year-old girls so pulling our luggage up these steps was a little tricky, but not impossible. All bedrooms are located upstairs in the unit, so we had the same issue with the stairs and our luggage. Again, for us, not a big issue but could be for others. At night, because of the location and it being situated near popular areas of Hollywood Blvd, you will get alot of traffic noises and reving of engines, for us, didn't matter as we were on vacation. Also, people park alongside the street in front of the unit and a quarrel occurred between two people who wanted the same parking spot. The building is completely gated so we felt safe enough but you could very clearly hear all the fun language that was being shared between the parties. One final thing to note, there are homeless people everywhere in this part of town and one of the mornings there was a homeless person sleeping inside the gate, which was a bit unnerving. We did have all our door/windows locked and the homeless person was sent away by someone else on the property and so no big issues but just something to point out. We are not sure how he got inside the gates.Even with all of these things, we would still stay here again and we appreciated the great service, clean space and location to various places.

Fantastic destination in the heart of Hollywood
Visited Hollywood with my wife, 2 teen girls, and mom, and we love the place!
This is a great place to stay for a family that needs 3 bedrooms. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, living room kitchen and another half bathroom downstairs as well as washer and dryer.
This destination is not a quiet peaceful stay out in the countryside, so if that's what you're looking for keep searching. However, anyone trying to stay in downtown Hollywood is probably not looking for that. This location is less than a block from the upscale Roosevelt Hotel, which has a fantastic bar and dining situation, a block from a well appointed Target store, and a block from Mann's Chinese theater as well as all the craziness that is Hollywood Blvd.
The building itself is well protected with gated entrance and 2 parking spaces underneath a protected garage. Also has gated windows and doors so you'll feel very safe.
Master bedroom also has a balcony with a surprising view of the Roosevelt and surrounding area, and with a slight glimpse of downtown LA high-rises.
Laurie was very quick to reply to our questions and is a fantastic host! Only issue worth noting is WiFi - needs to be updated to Mesh for those that want to use laptop in the far reaches of the condo.

Slept four adults comforably
I'm glad we stayed here. The sleeping situation worked out perfectly. The bedrooms are all on the second floor, in case that's not obvious. One bedroom has two twin beds, the other rooms have single larger beds. There are two full baths upstairs: one in the master suite, the other in the hall to be shared by the remaining two rooms. Downstairs is a full kitchen, half bath, living room, laundry machines. Living room has sliding door out onto private balcony. Included was parking in the secure garage (with use of a garage door opener) just beneath the condo, and stairs lead up from there to the front door (all inside the gate). Security includes: a gate with a deadbolt out front adjacent to the sidewalk; front door with deadbolt and screened/barred door with deadbolt; the garage with garage door opener. (Once inside the garage, you are within the gate and can ascend the stairs directly to the front door.) There are lots of things within walking distance. We walked to In 'n Out Burger, to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and to Runyon Canyon Park. Primarily we were in town to see two Dodgers game, which is only about an 8 mile drive (although that can take a long time in traffic). The owner, Laurie, was very friendly and communicative.

Great getaway
We visited the area from Kentucky because my daughter always wanted to go to L.A. During our stay this apartment was perfect. We felt safe staying with 4 girls. The apartment was large enough and fit our needs. The location was great with walking distance for site seeing. I would recommend this apartment for future visits to the area.
