About this cottage rental

Adorable cottage completely updated in 2017 is conveniently located on a quiet street in the heart of the historic district and is within walking distance to Conway’s vibrant downtown with all its restaurants and shops. This cozy cottage is only 3 blocks from Central Baptist College, .5 miles from the University of Central Arkansas, and approximately 1 mile from Hendrix College. This home features a fully stocked kitchen with quartz counter tops and stainless appliances. In addition, there are hardwood floors throughout the home, 2 flat screen TV’s, Hulu Live TV, WiFi Internet, and a laundry room. Our cottage is perfect for parent’s visiting their college student, alumnae attending school activities, girls’ weekends, a family checking out colleges, or business people seeking a more “home like” venue. The cottage was so cozy and perfectly decorated for the style. It was clean and stocked with all that my family needed. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding at Legacy Acres. The drive to the venue and Country Club was close. The check in process was easy, communication and hospitality was above my expectations. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Had a great stay while in town for a wedding. The listing is exactly what the great cottage is. Had all the amenities we needed for a busy weekend-coffee, a few waters, supplied kitchen, great beds and towels and comfy robes for every room! Plenty of public space to hang out as a group and three private bedrooms made sleeping in easy for those who wanted to. My wife loved the decor and special touches. AC unit was huge and kept the entire house comfortable on a 90+ humid summer weekend. Location near an unexpectedly cool downtown was an added bonus. Host was easy to communicate with, though we never needed anything. Place is a gem.

We’ve stayed at this beautiful property numerous times for a family reunion and it’s one of our all time favorite properties anywhere! Spotless, comfortable furnishings and beds and everything you could possibly need to cook and enjoy time with family. The hosts are super responsive and even provide a treat at time of check in. Went for a spring football game at UCA. The house location is perfect! The house was clean and stocked with all the things we needed. There was plenty of room for the college kids to come hang out for dinner and enjoy the evenings. We will be back!

We came to Conway to visit with friends & family, and to watch the eclipse. This cottage was perfect for us - clean, quiet, nicely decorated and in a walkable neighborhood. The kitchen & baths are updated with modern fixtures, but the decorating is with period pieces & reminds me of my grandparents house from mid-20th century. Everyone commented on how nice it is. (Our friends were disappointed that it is a no pets rental, since they are in Conway with their dog on a regular basis.) I only cooked one meal, but the kitchen has everything I needed, including a nice selection of herbs/spices. She even provided coffee pods! Laura was great at communicating & at addressing a small problem that came up. She obviously tries hard to make her guests comfortable.

This was the perfect spot for our gathering of friends. Check-in was a breeze, it was even cuter than the pictures, and is centrally located near downtown. We loved it and can’t wait to stay again!

We stayed for five nights over Christmas and it was perfect for hosting our adult children and their spouses. One lives in the area in a small apartment and the other came in from out of town and stayed with us so it was nice to be able to cook for everyone and visit in comfort. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. The dining and living rooms were good size for six of us to visit. The beds were comfortable and the laundry was great. Communications with the hosts was good and she even called to let us know we could get in early.

Your house is lovely and we enjoyed being in a good neighborhood between downtown and UCA. Just FYI, when trying to use the microwave it made a horrible sound and the engineers in the family said the electricity was arcing? unsafe. Turned off immediately and did not use.

I enjoyed the convenience, decor, clean, and communication with this cute cottage house in Conway. I had the house to myself and invited friends and family over to visit in this relaxed comfortable setting. I was impressed with the well stocked kitchen, toiletries, and everything you would possibly need to have guests, cook dinner, and enjoy solo time. The house was spotless. I loved the original floors and architecture with a remodeled interior. I lived two blocks from the cottage when I was 6 yo. Great memories while walking and driving in the area. New wonderful memories made in Conway. I highly recommend this VRBO and hope to stay again. J. Carson

Love this home! It was so clean and well furnished. The beds are all so comfy, too. Convenient and walkable to Stoby's and UCA. Beautifully decorated. We look forward to next time and hoping for sunshine to enjoy the outside entertainment areas. It was the perfect home and homeowners were awesome and quick to respond.

My daughter is going to UCA and wanted to bring her grandmother out to see her university so we stayed at the cottage while getting to know Conway. It was like staying in a fairy tale—very lovely, charming and quaint, but also perfectly outfitted with all the modern touches one would ever need to have a comfortable and pleasant stay! Perfect location for parents visiting University student children, or for those wanting to shop the adorable downtown. We had a perfect stay!

We had an excellent stay here and loved the charming character of this beautiful cottage. Although we were able to walk into downtown for several of our meals, we appreciated the fully stocked kitchen—that even included crockpot—which made meal preparation of the cottage a breeze. The thoughtful touches of our hosts were evident. We recommend Laura’s place without hesitation.

We had to deliver our son to college and didn’t want to stay in a generic hotel. Found another home by this owner but it suffered storm damage so she offered her other home. It is beautiful and charming and exactly the happy place we needed during this time. It is the most well-stocked and prepared home! We truly felt cared for and had everything we needed and then some!! Highly recommend!!!

Walking in, you immediately feel at home. A very calming, comfortable home. Very peaceful street to sit out during the day or evening. The hosts were fantastic. Very easy to work with and very accommodating. We did have an issue with the AC not working properly on Saturday evening, however by Sunday early afternoon, all was working perfectly. During this time, the Host kept us informed of the progress of the repair. I recommend this property extremely well!. Want to go back. Loved the neighborhood and the close proximity to downtown Conway. Unfortunately during the time we were there, we did not take advantage of walking the short distance to the restaurants and shopping as it was our Granddaughters graduation (plus Toad Suck). Hat's off to the Host for creating a calming respite.

Laura is an excellent and available host. Her property is always clean, well furnished and homey. She certainly pays attention to all the details. I have stayed here at least 3 times and it will always be my first choice in Conway.
