We loved our stay here. It was just as described. Very clean. Amazing views of English harbor. Within walking distance to Nelson's dockyard and Pigeon point. Great communication with the host. Highly recommend!

The owner was an excellent communicator and responded promptly to any messages I sent. Also you could pop in and see her at her shop if needed, The apartment was exactly as described and had everything we needed. We have stayed in this area before and is highly recommended. We would book Choy's apartments again, if she'll have me, I broke her dustpan brush🙄

Great location
Overall as advertised but no dedicated parking. Also more than two flights of stairs. Noise did not bother me as I’m deaf but was loud at times
Fabulous view from balcony

English Harbour
As always, Antigua never fails to deliver !
Beings travellers who like to get out and explore the sites, restaurants and interact with local people and culture this was a great choice for accomodation.
The apartment is tidy and basic but if you are mostly out all day exploring the sites and sounds it works just fine. Coffee in the morning or sundowners on the deck looking at the ships and the harbour views are a daily requirement. ( Please remember with the view, comes a walk up the steps to the apartment from the road below so it may not be a good choice if you have problems with stairs ).
The location is in a busy area with restaurants, cafe's and stores etc. and one should expect to hear occasional music and revellery drifting in at night but having been to English / Falmouth Harbours before, this is why we chose to stay here.
A short walk to Pigeon Beach and you are swimming in the ocean in minutes or go in the other direction and there is a myriad of great restaurants and cafes with a wide diversity of great foods to choose from. The marinas in Falmouth and English harbours never cease to amaze with the comings and goings of yachts and sailing ships.
If you want to get out of the area and explore the island attractions and beaches there are taxi's and rental car shops readily available within a five minute walk.
Choy was a wonderful host. She organized a ride from the airport and made sure that were settled in with some fresh fruit, local rum and some snacks upon our arrival.
If you are looking for accomodation in Antigua that is basic, clean and in a central location with lots to do, we would highly recommend reaching out to Choy and we will be returning again.

A pleasant break in lovely surroundings
The property is overall as described. The amount of stairs to get to the apartment were a little daunting with luggage. I agree with a previous review about the party atmosphere and noise but it was tolerable. Lots of restaurants and bars close by which meant we didn’t have to drive at night as roads are horrendous. Overall the property is good one or two minor niggles. The pillows were a bit mucky looking we washed sheets as a 9day stay warranted it. Could have done with extra towels and the oven trim is of do we didn’t use it. Minor details but something perhaps to note. We used the laundry and the medical centre on site which were excellent.
Choy was delightful and couldn’t have been more welcoming.

We had a good 12 day stay ,we just wished that the owner would have told us ,before hand, that this is a noisy location.A different owner in the same complex told us right away, after we inquired that this was not a kid friendly place and it could be very loud due to the different venues down and across the street. We didnt understand that this place was in the same building complex and and quickly realised what the other owner ment ,We appreciated her honesty and wished this owner would have done the same...Great place for renters with no kids that are here to party...everyone else should avoiid. Also this place is on a road not very traveled but thrash trucks like to collect garbage at night and make as much noise as possible .We also had a anti moskito fumigating truck come by a few times as well as the middle of the night and the unit filled up with toxic moskito killing smoke ....kinda weird and not efficient at all....but thats Antigua !!

Great place to stay
We arrived to delightful weather and a wonderful apartment to stay during our holiday. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was walking distance to restaurants, shopping of all sorts and of course the warm waters of the Caribbean. Make sure you call Choy to make your reservation for your stay in paradise.

Amazing Studio Apartment!
This Studio Apartment was all I could have wished for, it had a lovely energy, with special little touches and everything I needed during my stay. I relaxed immediately as soon as I saw it. So close to the action but also far away enough to feel the peace and just look at the view or read a good book overlooking the sea. I certainly will be back to this little gem.

Winter Sun 5 -22 March 2016
It was our 50th wedding anniversary on 1 January and the English winter had been particularly wet , cold and horrible, so we decided that we need some sun to cheer us up. THIS IS THE PLACE, Choys apartment was the perfect home from home. The view from the balcony is the best view we have had from a holiday apartment in the whole of our married life. We will go back again!
The local beach is the best in Antigua! Quiet and relaxed. White sand, turquoise sea, magnificent sailing and motors yachts. One bar Bumpkins at one end and a second Catherine's at the other. And if you want it a second private beach just around the corner.
We swam every morning walked around the dockyard, most historic in Antigua and ate at some lovely restaurants every evening followed by a glass of wine on the balcony every night watching the ships gradually
Light up after the sunset. And, what sunsets!
Jean and I have NO reservations about recommending this apartment and location to anyone! WE SHALL BE BACK. thank you Choy for such a lovely holiday and for looking after us so well whilst we were there.

Gorgeous location, needs TLC
My husband and I were blown away by the view, the fabulous accessibility to all things important( capucchini, groceries, gas, rental cars, good restaurants and especially Nelson's Dockyard.) We stayed a month at Choy's place, the beds were very comfortable and the essential mosquito netting was so appreciated! Having traveled to all parts of Antigua, you may rest assured, English Harbour is where you want to be! The roads are bumpy, the area hilly, the daily parking erratic...wherever you can find it. The locals are wonderful people and never once in 30 days did anyone warn us of security issues! And there were none!
Choy couldn't have been more helpful with information and solutions, restaurant and local info of every kind. Her lovely shop is a few steps from the cottage and so she makes herself available most mornings! Thank you Choy!
If she could have held the local clubs at bay for noise levels three or four nights a week, or sorted out the mosquitos, then she would have!
On the minus side, the cottage is 30+ years old and in real need of upgrading: old Formica, dirty cabinets, louvered Windows that don't all function and screens that fit badly. I realize this keeps the price down but was not prepared for this, nor the 25 US dollar fee for laundering the linens, each week.
The rental car we were able to secure for a three week period for 44 US dollars a day! (We nogtiated on island instead of the "deals" on the net.) Awesome deal. Gas is six dollars per gallon, in each of the 22 gas stations. Our favorite, drop dead ambiance rest.was Cambusa at night...try the Amitriciana pasta. We loved Choppy's and the little guy who sells street food across from Our Lady of Perpetual Help, maybe 10 miles toward the airport. He's there on Friday and Saturdays only and is right on the corner of Fig Tree Drive. Five US$ for a very generous to-go, whelk-conch shrimp stew. OMG!

Falmouth Studio Apartments: My Caribbean Fix
After ten years of staying here, this is truly my home away from home. For anyone wanting to experience and enjoy the unpretentious charm of the Caribbean, the Falmouth Studio Apartments are wonderful: comfortable, captivating and very convenient to at least three excellent restaurants, the beach, boutiques and the historic Dockyard in English Harbour. Being able to sit on the balcony in the evening in the soft night air while looking out over the yachts in Falmouth Harbour and the lights on the distant shore and listening to the tree frogs chirping is about as good as it gets. I arrived stressed from the States to find my wonderful, clean studio with a vase of Bougainvilla on the table, beer, soda, water in the fridge, and basic condiments and coffee on the shelves. After five days I left rejuvenated and relaxed having had my "Caribbean fix". I look forward to coming back next year and, hopefully, for many more years to come.

Perfect get-away!
The reservations were no fuss, and Choy helped arrange a taxi pick up which was much appreciated! The apartment was clean and close to a little supermarket to stock up on essentials. The fabulous view is just as it is in the photo - and even better all lit up at night. In the morning, there were songbirds on the balcony and a wonderful breeze any time of day. Located about a ten minute walk to Pigeon Beach, one of the nicest spots on the island Also a short walk to Nelson Dockyards. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Some things you might want to do include: a bus ride into St. John's on a Saturday to check out the market; fish fry at the Dockyards on a Friday night; Catherine's restaurant/bar at Pigeon Beach. Things to avoid: the overly crowded Sunday dinner at Shirley Heights (but definitely go for the view/dinner another time); the over-priced breakfast down by the water/yacht club (but go for the ice coffee). You may want to pack earplugs if you are a light sleeper - I didn't have a problem but my husband had a few sleepless nights due to loud music. I would definitely recommend the property, though.

A Piece of Paradise
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Antigua… Choy is a wonderful owner - communicated well in advance of our arrival – even helping to arrange car service from the Airport…. + two cold beers in the fridge. Location overlooks the Yacht Club Marina with a very nice balcony. Just a short walk to Nelson’s Dockyard. Several nice restaurants within walking distance… try the flying fish sandwich at the Dockyard Bakery. Wonderful stay... very highly recommend this property. We look forward to returning again.

Wonderful location, wonderful people
We arrived in Antigua desperately in need of a relaxing vacation, without too much hassle. It took us a minute to find the apartment, but as soon as we saw the place, with the incredible view, we knew we made the right choice.
We generally like to have the option to cook some meals for ourselves, and were pleased to find a kitchen stocked with all the equipment you would need to cook for yourself. By far the best things about the apartment are the balcony, with a view worth many many times the price (and where we spent many happy hours reading and relaxing), and the proximity to Falmouth & English Harbours. We decided not to rent a car during our vacation, and it turned out to be fine. We were located so close to many many restaurants, beaches, coffee shops and bars. Recommended: Catherine's at the end of Pigeon beach (AMAZING food and atmosphere), Bumpkin's for a budget lunch - great fish & chips (try their homemade hot sauce - VERY GOOD). Coffee at the dockside restaurant (excellent coffee), happy hour at Mad Mongoose (the bartender is named Junior and is a great guy), Rumbaba (a restaurant which we always missed-they close early-but everyone we talked to pointed us there), Trappas (a fantastic dinner at a reasonable price), drinks at the Admiral's Inn (great bar with a hammock on the harbor, and we had a great lunch there).
Choy was a wonderful host, and we enjoyed hearing her story and getting to know her a bit. Her shop in the Harbour is filled with all sort of treasures. She's done a great job keeping a very nice, simple apartment at a low cost so people like us (artists!) can enjoy the beauty and fun of Falmouth Harbour.
Thanks so much for a wonderful week, Choy!!

Great Stay and perfect location
We stayed at The Falmouth condos during march break for a week and we really enjoyed our stay. Amazing stay, way better than an all inclusive. We will be back !!
We visited many beaches, Shirley heights, half moon bay, darkwood beach, jolly beach, and pigeon point is right beside the cottage/apartment. We rented a car however it is not necessary !
-great view of the harbour , very romantic
-2 min walk to the Pigeon point beach beach
- cool evening in march gave a cool breeze off the water and made no need for air conditioning
-great restaurants and night life ( bars, clubs, bands ) check trip advisor for many reviews on Abracadabra (dinner), catherines cafe, Turners, Paparazi , grace before meals (lunch)
-very clean and well equipped
Choy the owner is very friendly and had the apartment well equipped with everything you needed. She is also available if you have any questions in the Yacht Club Marina! :)
Looking forward to going back :)

Beautiful Balcony View of Falmouth Harbor
My husband and I recently stayed at the Falmouth Harbor Apartments overlooking Falmouth Harbor. Choy, the owner, was very good at answering our questions about the property before our arrival and was quick in replying to us. Since we weren't sure how to get to the property and it was our first stay here, Choy arranged for our transportation from the airport with JB Taxi Service. Our driver knew where the apartment was and took us directly there. The apartment was what we expected and was clean. There were even a couple of Red Stripes and bottles of water in the refrigerator when we arrived. The drive from the airport was about 30 minutes, and there was little traffic. There is a great view of the harbor from the balcony. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking at the yachts and boats and all of the activities going on there. It was only a short walk to Pigeon Beach. There is a nice French restaurant on one end of the beach and another bar and restaurant on the other end called Bumpkins. Most anyone on the street can tell you how to get to the beach or you can go to Choy's shop and ask her. Choy is very nice and answered any questions we had. Since we didn't have a phone, she also made dinner reservations for us for my husband's birthday. There are many nice restaurants within walking distance to choose from. There is a small grocery store in the harbor. There is also another grocery store about a 15-20 min walk up the road. There is a bus service just up the street, which can take you to St John and other places on the island. It was $3.75 EC or less than $1.50 US. Once you take the bus a few times it's pretty easy. We found the Antiguan's to be very friendly and happy to answer our questions, too. The only complaint we had was the noise at night and especially on the weekends. There was a lot of music going on that kind of echos into the harbor and the apartment. Our neighbors gave us some earplugs the first night we were there. So, that helped us to get some sleep. We are not late night party people. Choy is aware of the noise problem and is doing everything she can to get the noise stopped at a reasonable hour. And, if you're there to party, well the noise won't affect you. All and all we had a very enjoyable stay at Choy's Falmouth Harbor Apartment. We would go back again. The apartment was reasonably priced and we found Choy to be a very kind and honest owner. Thanks Choy for making our stay so enjoyable!

Perfect place stay in Antigua
I would recommend Choy's place to anyone! It is at a superb location, close to the beach and the restaurant with a stunning view to the harbour. It is very clean, nicely decorated and Choy is an excellent owner taking care of all your questions and problems, if any at all.

We had a great time at this cozy little place...cute as a button and close to shops and night life. The deck was to die for and we spent many a morning having coffee and watching the amazing view!

Wonderful location
We stayed for 8 nights in the apartment and found it ideal. The view over Falmouth Harbour was beautiful and it was good to watch the yachts etc on the water. Everything we needed was provided in the apartment and the supermarket was a short walk as was Pigeon beach. We used the local buses to get around and the bus stop was at the end of the road. Because it was the low season a number of restaurants in the area were closed but we would recommend Trappas (turn right at the end of the road) for good food and friendly staff. By the end of our stay more places were opening for the busier season. Choy was excellent at keeping in touch by email and quickly answered any questions we had before we left home. She also checked we had arrived and everything was OK. Would definitely recommend staying in the apartment if you are going to Antigua and Falmouth Harbour area.
