Sunny Beach is the best location and this house is the perfect choice for the family or group looking to get away and enjoy easy access to a clean, quiet beach which is only a short drive from all that the city of Galveston has to offer. Beautiful 3/3 with space to sleep 12 located only 400' from the beach and only a 5 minute drive to the west end of the seawall. The inverted floor plan (kitchen and living area on top floor) provides for great views from the living room and upper deck. When ready to prepare feasts for your group, enjoy the fully equipped upstairs kitchen and island with beautiful granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances or utilize the gas grill on the ground floor (perfect for making s'mores as well!). When ready to relax, enjoy the spacious upstairs living area with comfortable couches, a large wall-mounted HDTV (with Xfinity Cable), and a raised ceiling. Or simply unplug and enjoy the gulf views from the upper deck while feeling the breeze and hearing the surf crash.

The large downstairs master bedroom has a huge, tiled, dual-headed shower that you will love. Both downstairs bedrooms have immediate access to the lower deck through their own sliding glass doors. All bedrooms have their own small flat screen HDTVs with Xfinity Cable service. With three bathrooms, each secondary bedroom essentially has its own bathroom just steps away.

When ready to venture out from the house, all that Galveston has to offer is close by. Looking for a clean, quiet beach? A 5 minute walk will land you on the beach in front of the neighborhood that is closed to motorized vehicles. This beach is great for those looking for plenty of space to enjoy the beach without the crowds. Looking for a more active beach you can drive on? At the end of 8 mile road (road to enter Sunny Beach) is a public beach that motorized vehicles can access which is typically much busier than the beach in front of the neighborhood.

Looking to enjoy all of the delights and activities that the city of Galveston has to offer? Being the closest west end beach neighborhood to town, we are only a short drive to hundreds of restaurants and attractions such as:
- Fishing Pier
- Seawall
- Pleasure Pier
- Schlitterbahn
- Moody Gardens
- The Strand
- Mardi Gras
- Dickens on the Strand
- Convention Center
- Golf Courses

Looking to fish? There is great surf fishing right in front of the neighborhood. If the surf is too rough, we are only a 5 minute drive to the fishing pier on the seawall and are within a 15 minute drive of most wade fishing or boat launch locations on the west end of the island. Of course, there are also plenty of great local fishing guides for those who want to leave the work up to someone else and just enjoy the catching. For those with kids who like to catch fish, there is a tide-fed saltwater pond (can see it in some of our pictures) that holds all kinds of fish (as well as bait for those with cast nets) right next to the neighborhood. Redfish, flounder, croaker, piggies, and crabs are routinely caught out of the pond. The pond is a great place if you are looking for somewhere to put lines in the water for your kids with high odds that something will bite. They may not catch any keepers but they will most likely catch something.

Our house is located on the end of a quiet street and we do ask that all renters be respectful of our neighbors. Therefore our rules regarding no high school or college parties are strictly enforced.

I rented the property for my daughter and a handful of her friends for a safe and fun weekend! The weather was terrible so they went shopping on the strand one day and enjoyed a short walk to the beach the following day. I didn’t give it 5 stars for the Overall Rating because 3 of the 8 people in our group tripped on this ridiculous concrete ledge on the driveway under the house. I really hurt my wrist and one of the girls busted her toe. If you rent it then please be aware of it. Other than that issue, the house and owner were great!

Easy accommodation for a weekend getaway. Lots of beds. Stocked w essentials…toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, trash bags. Nice hangout area…kitchen/dining/living space. Not beach front, but might as well be. Super easy access. Plenty of hoses, nice outdoor shower. No cars allowed on beach in front of property which is nice.

The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed, which I really appreciate. It was a short drive to all kinds of restaurants and activities, and the beach was no more than a 2 minute walk. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a clean, quiet, spacious place to stay on Galveston Island! The hosts also had great recommendations in their guest book.

This beach house accommodated our family of 10 very well. We enjoyed the porches with views, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the beach access was a very short and easy walk. I think it could be described as a 3 tier location, 3rd row of houses from beachfront. The private beach was clean and not crowded (June). We will remember this fun stay and hopefully come again. The host’s response time was remarkable and the house was very clean, designed well and comfortable.

My family and my sister’s family stayed here for a much needed getaway. This location is super close to the beach and has ALL the amenities! The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a deck off both bedrooms downstairs with a view of the ocean and a Jr her one upstairs with a table - perfect for eating or playing games at night! The living area is spacious and our WiFi access even with a bunch of teenagers and devices was great! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and appliances to make meals. The owner was super fast to respond to questions. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

The representations of this property were very accurate. The layout was perfect for our three-family gathering. We had plenty of room to have our own space, but also a very large common area for our time together. The property was very well stocked and equipped. A few bonuses, for us, that aren’t available at all locations: A concrete driveway and parking area - so much better than parking on dirt/sand. Plenty of trash cans, inside & out - a group of 10 generates a lot of trash. Plenty of parking space. A modern kitchen with plenty of room to operate. We were pleased with the entire rental process, and our stay, from start to finish.

This is an excellent property for family or just a couple. House is beautiful and clean and location is great. Short walk to fantastic private beach or short drive to public beach. You can watch sunrise from the balcony. Strongly recommend this property . Communication with owner was great but other than check in there was no need. Everything was perfect.

Also, the instructions and communication was excellent on the managers side via VRBO app. Unfortunately I missed the app message requesting I send a note once we departed, and did not let them know we left no later than scheduled departure time. Very nice house in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. It was perfect for our family of nine. We loved the easy access to the private beach area. The public beach areas on both sides of us were packed, but we had plenty of space as only the sunny beach community is allowed in that area. The closeness to the beach allowed us to enjoy it numerous times a day with breaks in between. Outside shower was wonderful to wash the sand off of everything. The hosts communicated very well with us. Would definitely rent again.

We've stayed at several beach homes in Galveston & Surfside (twice here), and this is the cleanest and most well-maintained home by far. David is a great host with easy, clear communications. We usually stay front row, but this home offers plenty of water views and is a shorter walk to the beach than expected (2-3 minutes?). Sunny Beach is AMAZING and not very crowded in June compared to the nearby driving beaches. The layout of the house was great for our family with teens, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to friends & family. Thank you!

The home was beautiful and spacious. It’s very well set up. We enjoyed the way one family could be on one level and the other family on the other level. Everyone had privacy. Bathroom was extraordinary. View of beach from the patio. Open and clean feel, owners have taken great care of the property. Kids enjoyed the Netflix every evening so major props for that!!
