Very friendly & relaxed. Room & food were outstanding. A very beautiful setting as well.
A little hard to get to but well worth it.

The staff here are amazing. I was particularly impressed with the breakfast hamper which was delivered at the requested time and was good quality. being able to eat outside was wonderfully relaxed and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. We would both highly recommend
Breakfast could have been included in the price.

The Plough Inn is beautifully situated. The accomodation was comfortable and spotless and the owners were friendly and helpful, cooking a tasty meal and breakfast for us even though the inn was closed that day. The atmosphere was relaxed and homely.

A wonderful weekend, deep in the Kent countryside. Walking available from your doorstep in the hills and fields around The Plough, The pub was superb, food magnificent and friendly staff always on hand. Breakfasts are delivered in hampers, full cooked breakfasts a particular delight.

The whole atmosphere is great.
Marianne is lovely and gave me a great wellcome.
The food is absolutely fantastic… a great menu.
But total star of the show is Josie, who works so hard running the bar and restaurant. She always has a smile, and time for a chat.
Travelling alone, all we can really hope for is a warm welcome, a very nice room, and great food and wine!

Lovely room, perfect for me, my wife and daughter as well as allowing our dog. The food was good in the pub.

Nice old pub, great food, friendly staff, interesting locals (especially the bloke with the Husky), nice location, excellent accommodation, dog friendly.
Nothing!!!!! but the access roads are typical of rural Kent, very narrow and lots of blind corners. This is not a criticism of The Plough (it’s a great place), just a warning to folk who aren’t used to driving around here.

Breakfast was nice but it was delivered to the room as a hamper. Would prefer to have eaten it in the main pub.
The rooms were in an outbuilding and not the old pub, which we would have preferred. Luckily it didn't rain otherwise it would have been unpleasant.
We had to settle the bill for the rooms and breakfast after the meal rather than the next morning, as is usually the case. Seemed like they don't trust their guests.
When we arrived around 7.30 we had to sit down to eat before even going to our rooms. After a day of traveling around the area, we really wanted to freshen up before dinner.
The place was very quiet with most of it shut down and in darkness.

Our suite was fantastic, the food at the restaurant was great and the staff were so polite and helpful

Breakfast good but a bit pricey. The room was very spacious and comfy with a lovely separate upstairs seating area.
The roads were a bit narrow and winding to get there but it was handy for the channel tunnel. Breakfast was extra and a bit pricey for what we got. We had trouble making a decent coffee with the coffee maker too!

Upgrade the coffee machines in the accommodation.

A great location, with a wonderful atmosphere. Delicious food in the pub and a lovely hamper for breakfast. The owners are very welcoming, with an extensive knowledge of the local gins.
Nothing to dislike.
